How to Check record history in OAF Pages.

How to check a record history in OAF pages, like the way we do in PUI ( Help -> Record History).

In the "About This Page" link, you can see all the attached business objects, i.e. View Objects, Controllers, App modules etc. Clicking on VO name will give you the query.
But as compared to PUI, it won't show you what was the last executed query.
You can probably rely on the apache log to see the queries used on the page at run time.

How to set record history for a customized form?

i have created a customized form and register it onto apps. everything is working fine expect for the Record History part. while going to Help -> Record History for my customized form it showing error message -
Recird History is not availbale here.
Please suggest if i have to write a specific trigger for setting the record history. also please provide the sample code for the same.

How to display PDF file in OAF page

Hi All,
I have an requirement to display a PDF file in OAF page. The PDF file will be stored in custom location in unixbox and when the user clicks on the hyperlink from OAF page, the PDF file should be promted to open or save the file in the local system.
The pdf file will be stored in $XBOL_TOP and I am not sure on how to link the file directory path from OAF page.
Please share some information on how to achieve this logic.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to add multiple editable fields in the page in SharePoint online 2013.
Here is a solution for your reference:
1. We can create a Custom List and add some fields in it.
2. Create a Datasheet View in this List.
3. Add this Custom List(as an app part) into the page you want.
4. Edit this App Part and set its view as Datasheet View.
If I misunderstand what you mean, please provide more details on your requirement(picture would be better).

Need to change the LOV field based on checked box selection in OAF page

Dear ALL,
I have a requirement as below:
I have a custom OAF page having a lov field which is mandatory, a check box and a two text fields.
So based on LOV value selection i am defaulting two text field value automatically.
So my requirement is when user selects the check box automatically the LOV field should be non mandatory and user can insert in values to the lov field and text field and submit it.
SO basically based on check box field selection i need to make the lov field in such a way it should accept all the values what user enters instead of check the query added in VO behind the LOV.
Please suggest me some pointers to achieve this requirement.

I think you are trying to hide the Product branding that appears right next to the corporate image ( Oracle image ) ,
well you can do this using controller code , in processRequest of your controller add this code

How to Display Record Count on Search page?

I am new to OAF and one of the requirement is to display record count on Search page . I followed the same steps in Emp Search page as an example and created my search page.
I followed the following steps
1) I created a transietn Attribute in VO by name RecordCount
2) I had written a method in AMImpl

I am not able to see record count when i run the page ?
Am i missing any steps ?
I see the messages in the log file but not in Record count box ?

i made the code change according to you and because of the following condition, it is createing a" new row" in the search page
Row row = vo.createRow();
vo.insertRow(row);
For every search it is creating a new blank row in search page .
I did some more research and modified my code as

The following table lists the standard columns used for Record History (WHO), the column attributes and descriptions, and the sources for the values of those columns. Set the CREATED_BY and CREATION_DATE columns only when you insert a row (using FND_STANDARD.SET_WHO for a form).

How to enable the DFF in OAF page(where Dff is based on the custom table).

Hi Experts!!
I am in the process of enabling the dff in OAF page. I am not able to enable the dff if am using the Custom table.
Ex:
Assume that my DFF XX_DFF is using the custom table XX_TABLE of att1,att2..
I am able to enable the dff in OAF page but not able to make those values entered to get stored in the custom table.
I need helping hands to help me out to get the entered dff values stored in my custom table.
Kindly provide me the steps so that I can follow up..

yes you can hide that field by simply set the render propert to "false" using the personalization.

How to add Video on the OAF page like youtube ?

If you are getting HTML code from one of these slideshow.com places, you can add this code to your iWeb pages with a little bit of work. Two things to keep in mind...1. No way to do this via iWeb directly, so it involves editing the published html files, and 2. Because iWeb republishes the html files whenever you update the your webpage, you will lose your changes and have to redo them to add your slideshows back.
The general directions are as follows...
1. Decide where you want your slideshow and know exactly what dimensions you need.
2. Insert a text box onto your page and adjust its size to exactly your dimensions.
3. Type in some uniquely identifiable text like, "SLIDESHOWHERE" without changing the font or anything else...just type it in.
4. Publish your page with iWeb.
5. Find the html file associated with your published page (either on your iDisk or in a folder depending on how you published) and open it in any text editor (like Microsoft Word, or Textedit, or anything). You may need to set your text editor to "ignore rich text" or to "show HTML source".
6. Scroll through the html file and locate your placeholder text, e.g. "SLIDESHOWHERE".
7. Replace the placeholder text with your html code and save your page.
That's it. You should see your slideshow element show up in Safari where you placed the text box in iWeb!

Who columns for OAF pages

IS there anything equivalent to Forms' "Help -> Record History" in OAF Pages for end users to find the current records' Who column values?

Forms and OAF pages belong to different techstack and therefore there are many technical differences in the two. Here you can view the vo query using about this page or use diagnostics mode to see existing logs of OAF pages.
