How to click on a button/ option
Hi All
I am working on a script which will launch the System Preference and then open Accounts pane and then click on "Change password " button. I am able to launch System Preferences but don't know how to proceed

I think the availability of Oridinals depends on the font.

How do I download Adobe Reader 9 in Firefox? Their instructions say to begin by clicking on the 'Edit Options' button on the yellow bar at the top. I have no such bar or button on my Firefox start page.

I first noticed an issue when looking for something normally located in the Accessories folder of MS programs. What I found upon clicking on "All Programs" was not the program file/folder tree I expected but rather a direct list of all files in the Program Files folder. I then went to open a new session of Firefox to research that issue and noticed my basic Start button options were also changed. Now, even focus for event-driven events is not working correctly. Again, while I love Firefox, this needs to be fixed immediately or I will be forced to uninstall the product just to function.
Unfortunately I tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for the help though. I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. No matter what I do I can not get Firefox working again. No matter how many times I try to redownload it. Any other suggestions?

I have igoogle as my hompage. When I click the home button, it will open my igoogle page but also open up a blank tab as well. Firefox didn't always do this, it just started. Maybe when I upgraded to the 5.0. I've tried looking in the options and I can't find something there and there doesn't seem to be a solution on the web. How do I get it to stop doing that?

How can I click Acrobat Form button from VB (Excel Macro)?
I may be asking in the wrong forum, but I'm at my wit's end and think just about anyone with VB experience would be able to tell me what I'm doing wrong. Is there a forum for interapplication/ VB/ forms questions?
Suffice to say, I know very little about VB (or any of the other languages behind the software), but I've adapted code which has allowed me to get almost everything I need done, thus far.
I'm trying, desperately, to finalize a Macro which enables me to export a lot of Excel info into individual Acrobat Forms and save them all independently. This all works fine, but there is one last thing I've not been able to accomplish: I need to remote click (or 'focus on') a button in the Acrobat form in order to select the icon button (dynamically set image relevant to each individual form, base on excel cell). The button's name, in Acrobat, is 'Photo1' and it is located on the 3rd page of the form. I've several SendKeys commands in order to save each file with a unique, row specific name.

I'm pretty sure one of many issues is that I don't know the fully-qualified name of the field/button, or how to properly identify it in the Macro.
I have no doubt that my approach, if it's even possible, is clumsy and unfounded, but I am (obviously) flailing around for anything that can achieve clicking this confounded button. Any help appreciated.It was a button option - I haven't got access to Acrobat 8 here at home, but it was something like

When the button was clicked, the email application would open with a new email and the PDF would be attached, so you could enter the recipients email address and send. -

I begin uploading video to Facebook and a small window opens to show the progress bar but, the video stops uploading about every 5% when a notification comes from the top bar stating: "Firefox prevented the page from reloading" with an Allow button on the right. Regardless of clicking the allow button and putting Facebook in every exception list Firefox options seems to have or even turning pop up blockers off, that dam button keeps coming! How do I prevent or disable this?

How do I reopen tabs after a download where I clicked "close and save" option?
I have web sites, draft email, web articles, etc. open in my doc, created when I select the middle (orange) button in the upper left corner when Firefox is open. To me that button means "park this item for a little while". Then I get a noteice that new software is ready to be installed, but doing so requires me to restart. That's all fine, but the after pushing the On-off button on my Mac 10.6, I get three options Close, Cancel, or Save and Close. I want to select the last one. About 75% of the time, when the installations and restart are complete, the itmes I had "saved" from the previous screen before the restart, at Not Restored and so All Are Lost!! How do I enable or guarentee restoring what was saved before the restart?
Captivate's default behaviour is to play the content as if it were a movie. If you want it to stop, you have to force it to do so by either clicking the pause button on the playbar, or you can program it to stop at any given point by adding an interative object such as a click box or button to the Captivate timeline and dragging the pause point for this object. Then when the user clicks the box or button, the pause is released and the movie will continue playing. The great thing about all this is that you can also set actions to be performed when the interactive objects are clicked. So instead of just continuing playback, you can also opt to jump to a totally different slide if you want.
It might take a bit of getting used to, but once you understand how Captivate works, it's really very powerful and provides a lot of creative scope. -
How to control what VoiceOver says when clicking a radio button in Safari?
Hello-
I am developing a web page that I want to work in Safari & VoiceOver. Does anyone know how I can:
1) control what VO says when it is hovering over a radio button (ideally some alt text or title attribute)
2) control what VO says when I click a radio button in Safari (right now, it seems to say 'Group').
I have tried to put the radio buttons in a fieldset, tried tons of attributes in the input tag (including alt, title, desc, description), but nothing seems to change.

Turn on VoiceOver (try Cmd+F5), pull up the URL and hover over the 'letter' or 'large envelope' radio buttons, then click one of them. It says 'group'. I'd like it to say 'letter option selected' or something.

PS: I do know about the <label> tag. I've tried surrounding my <input> tag with a label and using <label for="someID">, but it doesn't seem to help.Thank you for the suggestion...it does work and fires the event, but it is still not selecting the current record when I try to perform an Update or Delete.
I had to modify your code a bit in order for it work in JDev 10...used the JUCtrlValueBindingRef instead of the FacesCtrlHierNodeBinding.

Here is the workflow which you can follow to achieve this functionality.
Puspendra: You can choose image button and then choose from the available image buttons, or click on the folder icon when you select the image button and choose from the Gallery of Captivate 6.
Puspendra: Few image buttons change color on hover or onclicked, these effects are predefined in them.
Puspendra: Or you can edit that button on which you are working, from properties Panel.
Puspendra: The Post and Cancel button on this thread seems like a transparent button in Captivate with different fill and stroke color, and transparency is also less, and with corner radius of 0.

When I left-click the home button, how can it open my home page in a new tab?
I thought it used to do that. I had to do a clean install of Windows, I believe I was only on FF 22 or 23 when this happened. Now I'm on FF 26 and obviously all my settings are gone.
I'm 99% sure that when I left-clicked on my home button, it opened my home page in a new tab. I know I can middle-click to get that affect, but it used to be left-click and I do that automatically now. But I don't want to lose the current window I have up, so something's wrong.
Anyone know how to fix this? Or an add-on to do this?If you hold down the Ctrl key while left clicking the Home button then the home page opens in a new tab.<br />
You can also middle-click the home button like you can with any other link
