How to collapse 2 folders into one?

I have one folder named Projects. It has only one other folder in it also named Projects. The latter folder contains many individual subfolders. How can I collapse the 2? I just need the latter folder. I tried changing names but that doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Drag the sub folder Projects to a new location.
Delete the first folder Projects.
Moved the (old sub) folder Projects back to where the deleted one was.
Now there is just the one.

I'm thinking in particular iPhoto, roll folders with images inside, want to move them all out and into one folder. I would rather not go through each one and move manually as could take a while, especially if there are say hundreds of folders each with photos inside i want to move into one.

How do I combine folders into one pdf, preserving subfolders as bookmarks?

So far I've had to go into each folder, convert its contents and name the file the same name as the folder name, and combine all of these folders. I'd like it if there were an easier way.

sometimes ago I wrote a VBScript which may do, what you want.
Copy the attached Script into Notepad, change the settings and save it as AcMerge.vbs.
If you have produced the PDF FileList, you can double click on the VBS or Drag 'n Drop

I have two apple Ids, how do I consoliidate into one Id?

I have two apple ids. One for the apple store and one for the icloud and newstand.
How can i concsolidate the two ids into one ID. One is associated with my Icloud
and has payed icould stroage. The other id is my pre os5 apple store id.
They have different passwords.
I use them on my IPAD.

You can't. There is no way to merge Apple IDs. The purchases made with these separate IDs will forever be tied to those IDs. Sorry.

How to download & how to merge pdfs into one pdf file?

I hope someone can help me, because I am SO frustrated right now! I want to create an electronic document of a 40-page thesis I wrote. I no
longer have the original computer files, so I took digital photos of each page.
Then I converted all the jpegs into pdf files.
Now I want to merge these 40 jpegs into one pdf file.
I read that this is possible with Adobe Acrobat 8 or 9. So, yesterday I downloaded the trial version of what I thought was Adobe Acrobat 9. Well,
two whole hours later, all I could find on my computer was Adobe Reader 9, which would not allow me to merge any pdfs.
So, today, I again reinstalled the Adobe Acrobat 9. Now, after waiting another two hours, there is NOTHING on my computer--no Adobe Reader, no Adobe Acrobat, no desktop icons, nothing in the "All Programs" list when I press the Start menu, etc.
What happened? How could something that took so damned long to download be totally invisible on my computer now? I do see Arcsoft, but that is for photographs. Is it possible to merge pdfs together using Arcsoft?
I have SO much other work to do, and I am so disgusted that I have lost two days on this project, just trying to merge pdfs together! Please, if
you have any suggestions as to how to get Adobe Acrobat 9 as a trial version an/or how to merge pdfs, please answer this post!

Yes, I did install it, but one of the times it hanged at 99.96%. Do you know what that means?

In Multitrack view, you have to place the files on the timeline, and then do the mixdown. In Waveform view, you can select them all at once, but I wouldn't - there's no guarantee that they'd be placed in the order you selected them. The safe way to do it is to open the first file, move the cursor to the end of it, and then Open>Append the next one. With only six files, that's not exactly an onerous task. The only other thing you might want to do between each file (depending upon how they were made) is to insert a little silence between each one, but that's easy to do after they're assembled in a line. It's easier to do that in Multitrack though, just by sliding the files along the timeline, adjusting the gaps to be whatever you need them to be. In the mixdown, the gaps will be identical.

How combine book cds into one fi

I use my zen primarily for audio books. When I rip them from cds, and upload them to my zen, it shows each cd as a separate album. Long books will show up as 5-20 separate albums. This is a pain when I have 0 books on my player -- I have to scroll through so many "albums" to find the one I want to play.
When I download books from the net, they combine and show up on the zen as one album, so they are much easier to deal with.
I have tried changing the ripping software settings -- trying various combinations of file names and playlist names, but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone have a method of ripping multiple cds and having them show up on a zen's"albums" file as one album?

I tried the playlist idea, but on my zen "albums" it still showed one album per disc, rather than combining them into one "album" , and within "playlist" it only brings up one cd's tracks.
The second idea, changing the album name using properties:? if I change to one single album name, then the tracks are all mixed up - track from disc - track from disc 2 - track from disc 3, etc.
I thought if I used the same album name, but tried to play around with the track name, maybe I could get the sequence right. That is, if I could get the track name to include the disc # first, then the track number, they would line up correctly:? 0 0, 0 02, 0 03. (with?the first?number?being the disc #, and the second # being the track #.).
If I could do that, then all the tracks would have the same album name so there would only be one listing in "albums".
All the tracks from all the discs would show up in that single album listing, but the software used on the?zen would arrange the tracks first by disc # then by track # -- in the correct order to play them all.
The track names are created when you rip the cds -- and I think I have tried all the various combinations, but cannot get the software to create the right "track name" to make this work.
Does anyone have any idea how to do that within the ripping software?

Said that this has nothing to do with database (you should post on some nix forum, for example http://forums.oracle.com/forums/forum.jspa?forumID=135), you may try rsync* command (man rsync).

create a scenario Scn1 for Package_1 and another Scn2 for Package_2.
Create a package Main_Package
Put the scenario of Package_1 and Package_2 in Main_Package in the following fashion

How to aggregate columns into one in a bar chart

Maybe the title of my question is not clear (i suspect as much) but here is my situation:
I have a MDX dataset with this data
Project, Turnover
A,100
B,120
C,50
D,20
Plotting this in a Chart produces the correct result: it gives me a chart with 4 columns.
What i want however is to add all these values into one column and have the chart show only one as i will be adding more data series (via lookUp) that will show additional related data.
Can this be achieved?

Based on my understanding, you want to create a bar chart. In the chart, multiple series are stacked on a column. Within the same category, you want to use Lookup() function to add related values of those series, then make these values stack on the second
column. In your scenario, two columns exist within one category, and for each column, values of multiple series are stacked, right?
In Reporting Service, when adding multiple values(in your scenario, it would be Project) to series and these values are grouped by one category, multiple values are stacked vertically on a column within one category. If these values are not grouped by the
same category, it’s unable to make multiple series stack vertically on a column. If we add other related values in Values, these values will stack vertically on the original column based on series. So your requirement can’t be completely achieved currently.
As we tested in our environment, within the same category, the related values will be stacked horizontally on the original values of each series within a bar. Please refer to screenshots below:

How to move from 3 separated itunes music folders into one new hard discs??

So : i bought a new external 6TB thunderbolt hard disc (for extra speed for my huge library) and i copied from 3 other 2TB hard disc into there. I named the sub folder the same like an original. I thought it is enough to determine the new place of each in "media folder locations" and updated.... but its not working
What should i do? How will see the itunes these music folders like an originals??? I dont want to reimporting, because i dont want to loose all of my "date added, played etc" informations.
If I'm doing three partitions with folders, as were the old ones will work?
..or should i rewrite the iTunes Music Library.xml with text editor?

Best to give the new iPad a different name. I assume you have purchased an iPad 2 or the next generation iPad which is just called "iPad"? If so, you can name the iPad 2 "Kens iPad 2" or "Kens iPad 3" since the new iPad just introduced is the 3rd generation.
The first time you connect your new iPad to iTunes on the computer used for syncing your existing iPad, you will be prompted to transfer the backup for your existing iPad to the new iPad, or set up the new iPad as a new iPad. Both must be followed by a sync with iTunes.

How to combine multiple podcast folders into one

When I open itunes Podcast section I find that it shows multiple folders or podcasts with the same name. I want these to show up as just one podcast. How can I do this?
For example:
When I look at my HD>itunes>Podcast folder; I see one folder called "Ask Dave", but in my itunes podcast column it show three separate "Ask Dave" podcasts. I want it to show only one.
Similar but different example:
A podcast that I have subscribed to for several years has changed its name slightly; Podcast_Photoshop User TV, Photoshop User TV, Photoshop TV, NAPP TV.
I have 4 folders as I listed in my itunes>Podcast folder. But in the itunes window it lists 9 folders: 1 - Podcast_Photoshop User TV, 5 - Photoshop User TV, 2 - Photoshop TV, 1 - NAPP TV.
These are all the same podcast, and I'd to have just one folder / entry in my itunes window called Photoshop TV and have everything show up in one place.
Is there a way to consolidate these and others?
I'm running Leopard and iTunes10
