How to color a row using REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY
Hi,
I'm able to color a row using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY, I tried the same way to color a row at the item level using 'REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY' but I'm not able to get the row color, please let me know how to acheive this.
Thanks in Advnce
Narayan
you need to do 4 things.
1. Add a field in your final internal table which ur going to display.
2.Name the field as----
> color_line(4) TYPE c,
begin of itab,
matnr type mara-matnr,
ernam type mara-ernam,
color_line(4) TYPE c,
end of itab.
3.declare layout ....................> data : it_layout TYPE lvc_s_layo.
4. After filled your fieldcat and before display your ALV
loop at itab assigning to <itab>.
if <itab>-ernam eq 'XYZ'.
<itab>-color_line = 'C600'.
end loop.
it_layout-info_fname = 'COLOR_LINE'.
CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY'
exporting
IS_LAYOUT = it_layout
IT_FIELDCAT = your_fieldcat
and pass ur ITAB.

How to color specific row in a table....
Hi all,
I created a table out of an Array[]. The table is successfully filled up by array's elements. Each element is a row.
I want to be able to color specific row; instead of every row. How do I do that?
I was looking rendering to color a row or a string; but not successfull.
Thank you for your time and assistence.My favorite way of doing this is to use CSS. You plan on giving the row you want colored an id attribute, then provide a style like this:
<style type="text/css">
tr#colorMe td {
background-color:blue;
</style>Then, when you want to color the row, you make the HTML output like this:
<table ...>
<tr> //normal row
<td></td><td></td><td></td>
</tr>
<tr id="colorMe"> //colored row
<td></td><td></td><td></td>
</tr>
<tr> //normal row
<td></td><td></td><td></td>
</tr>

Hi,
In the final internal table you declare one fieldsline_col(4) type c.
Data: begin of itab occurs 0, "final internal table.
line_col(4) type c,.
end of itab.
IF .......your condition.
loop at itab.
if itab-WERKS = '1000'.
itab-line_col = 'C600'.
endif.
modify itab.
clear itab.
endloop.
Next build your FIELDCATALOG ......
gt_layout-zebra = 'X'.
gt_LAYOUT-DETAIL_POPUP = ' '.
gt_layout-info_fieldname = 'LINE_COL'.
Next pass this to your FM.
I hope this will help you.

How to get blank rows using #
Hi,
I have a requirement to restrict my query on Creation Date. For this I am creating a variable in Query Analyzer such that when I execute my query standard SAP creation date pop up comes but now my client also want to get the blank rows using # along with the date entered by the user.
My problem is how should I append # along with the user entered date.
Thanks.I am not able to enter # . As only the calender is coming there is no option to enter # .
I am thinking of another solution please tell me if I am correct. Can I create two variables to creation date such that one of the variable is of type User Input and another one will be of Customer Exit type, then in customer exit in I_STEP = 2 I can manually append #. Will it be a appropriate solution? -

How to see inserted rows using load csv data
Hey all...
I am using apex 3.1 and I want to know how can I see non failed rows when I insert data from an CSV file.
the failed rows that I can see are the the ones that shows in the next case: Uploading data that already exists and having a primary key violation. But what I really want to see is the description of the rows that had been succesfully loaded, not just a number of succesfully loaded rows.
Thanks in advance.

How to avoid duplicated rows using the outer join
Hi everybody,
I have the following query:
select a.usr_login, b.ugp_rolename, b.ugp_display_name from
(select usr.usr_login, usr.usr_key, usg.ugp_key from usr,usg
where usg.usr_key = usr.usr_key
and usr.usr_login IN ('C01015','C01208')) a,
(select ugp.ugp_key, ugp.ugp_display_name from ugp
where ugp.ugp_rolename LIKE 'B-%') b
where a.ugp_key = b.ugp_key (+)
The first query 'a' has the following result:
usr_login <space> usr_key <space> ugp_key
C01015 <space> 49 <space> 565
C01015 <space> 49 <space> 683
C01015 <space> 49 <space> 685
C01015 <space> 49 <space> 3
C01208 <space> 257 <space> 3
The usr_login on table usr is the primary key, and as you can see above, for each usr_login I can find one ore more ugp_key on the table usg.
The query 'b' gives the list of all the usr_login's roles which have the name LIKE 'B-%' (it means '*Business Roles*'), and all the respective role's key (ugp_key)
So, when I join the query 'a' with the query 'b', I expect to find for every usr_login the respective ugp_display_name (the Business Role name).
Because the query 'b' contains ONLY the ugp_keys of the Business Roles, when I execute the complete query, this is the result:
usr_login <space> ugp_rolename <space> ugp_display_name
C01015 <space> BK005 <space> TELLER 1
C01015 <space> BK003 <space> TELLER 2
C01015 <space> null <space> null
C01015 <space> null <space> null
C01208 <space> null <space> null
As you can see, with the outer join I obtain the Business Name (ugp_display_name) for each occurrence (and I have 2 rows duplicated with 'null' for the usr_login C01015); This beacuse the query 'b' doesn't have the two ugp_keys 685 and 3.
Instead I'd like to have the following result:
usr_login <space> ugp_rolename <space> ugp_display_name
C01015 <space> BK005 <space> TELLER 1
C01015 <space> BK003 <space> TELLER 2
C01208 <space> null <space> null
deleting ONLY the duplicated rows with null, when the usr_login has already at least one ugp_display_name not null.
For example:
1) The usr_login 'C01015' has 2 Business Roles (with ugp_key = 565 and 683) and other 2 not-Business Roles (with ugp_key = 685 and 3) --> I want to see ONLY the 2 records related to the Business Roles
2) The usr_login 'C01208' has only one not-Business Roles (with ugp_key = 3) --> I want to see the record related to the not- Business Role
Practically:
1) When a usr_login has one or more Business Roles and other not-Business Roles , I'd like to see ONLY the records about the Business Roles (not the records with 'null','null')
2) When a usr_login doesn't have Business Roles, I'd like to see the records about the same usr_login with 'null','null'
This, because I need to show both usr_logins: with and without Business Roles.
Anybody has any suggestions ? Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help !!
AlexHi, Alex,
So you want to display rows from a where either
(1) the row has a match in b, or
(2) no iwith the same usr_login has a match.
Here's one way to do that:
WITH a AS
SELECT usr.usr_login, usr.usr_key, usg.ugp_key
FROM usr
, usg
WHERE usg.usr_key = usr.usr_key
AND usr.usr_login IN ('C01015','C01208')
, b AS
SELECT ugp.ugp_key, ugp.ugp_display_name
FROM ugp
WHERE ugp.ugp_rolename LIKE 'B-%'
, got_match_cnt AS
SELECT a.usr_login, b.ugp_rolename, b.ugp_display_name
, b.ugp_key
, COUNT (b.ugp_key) OVER (PARTITION BY a.usr_login) AS match_cnt
FROM a
, b
WHERE a.ugp_key = b.ugp_key (+)
SELECT usr_login, ugp_rolename, ugp_display_name
FROM got_match_cnt
WHERE ugp_key IS NOT NULL -- Condition (1)
OR match_cnt = 0 -- Condition (2)
;If b.ugp_rolename or b.ugp_display_name can not be NULL, then you could use that just as well as b.ugp_key for testing condition (1).
By the way, you don't need sub-queries for a and b; you can do all the joins and all the filtering (except conditions (1) and (2)) in one query, but the sub-queries aren't hurting anything. If you find the separate sub-queries easier to understand, debug and maintain, then, by all means, keep them.
I hope this answers your question.
If not, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) for all tables, and also post the results you want from that data.
Explain, using specific examples, how you get those results from that data.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using. -
How to save multiple rows using ADF faces ?!
Hello;
I am developing a search page using ADF faces (jdeveloper 10.1.3).
after building my view i dragged it as search form on my page then i dragged it again as a read only table to display results with different iterator.
I have a field act as a flag with 'Y' and 'N' value so i converted this field in the table to select boolean checkbox.
what i need is ...
after processing search operation i want to update this flag by 'Y' or 'N' (select/un-select checkbox) then click on a save button to save all result rows flag with its new status to the data base.
Wish to know how to implement that.
Thanks a lotSearching this forum yields How to do a bound af:SelectBooleanCheckbox inside of af:Table

How to find rejected rows using External Table
Hi all,
I had written a stored procedure to read comma(,) separated flat file using External Tables in oracle 9i with Reject Limit "Unlimited" Option. Sometimes all rows are successfully loaded into external table and sometimes some rows are failed, I can find out those rows from logfile created by oracle. I want to inserted those rows key values into some other table. Can any body suggest/links how to write this.
Thanking you in advance"Is there a way to have the system truncate the log files besides some O/S utility that will scour the directory every night, week, etc.?"
You can use UTL_FILE.FREMOVE to delete the file, if you have sufficient privileges. You can schedule it using DBMS_JOB if you like or run it before you recreate the file, as demonstrated below. The pl/sql block to check whether the file exists is used for demonstration purposes only and is not necessary. This is just one method. There are various ways to delete or truncate a file. This just seems like the simplest.

How to group table rows using GroupedColumn?
Hi all,
i know by binding the grouping value to a context, it can merge rows into one. but this only works if the two rows are adjacent.
if the context looks like this:
value 1
value 2
value 1
value 2
it can not group them together
how to group them together and merge the rows?
thanks.Hi erv,
U need to use the TableSorter class for this.
You can download the TableSorter.java class from the tutorial Working with Tables in Web Dynpro.
Here you can select the project A) Creating Tables and download the Ready-to-use project. The lick to download project is:
