How to get blank rows using #

Hi,
I have a requirement to restrict my query on Creation Date. For this I am creating a variable in Query Analyzer such that when I execute my query standard SAP creation date pop up comes but now my client also want to get the blank rows using # along with the date entered by the user.
My problem is how should I append # along with the user entered date.
Thanks.

I am not able to enter # . As only the calender is coming there is no option to enter # .
I am thinking of another solution please tell me if I am correct. Can I create two variables to creation date such that one of the variable is of type User Input and another one will be of Customer Exit type, then in customer exit in I_STEP = 2 I can manually append #. Will it be a appropriate solution?

    Hi,
    Am facing the same issue stated above that I couldnt get all the records in the table that am querying in the Proxyservice.
    For example:
    fn-bea:execute-sql('EsbDataSource', 'student', 'select Name from StudentList' ) is the query that am using to fetch the records from the table called StudentList which contains more than one records like
    Id Name
    01 XXX
    02 YYY
    03 ZZZ
    I tried to assign the result of the above query in a variable and while trying to log the variable, I can see the below
    <student>
    <Name>XXX</Name>
    </student>
    I want to have all the records from my table in xml format but it's not coming up. I get the value only from the first row of my table.
    Please suggest.

    Hi,
    If you are using FM 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY' then In your fieldcatalog there is one component called 'no_zero' make it to 'X' like :
          WA_FLDCAT-TABNAME = 'IT_FINAL'.
          WA_FLDCAT-COL_POS = 1.
          WA_FLDCAT-SELTEXT_L = 'BOQ.Amt'.
          WA_FLDCAT-FIELDNAME = 'ZAMT'.
          WA_FLDCAT-NO_ZERO = 'X'.
          WA_FLDCAT-DATATYPE = 'CURR'.
          WA_FLDCAT-INTLEN = '20'.
          APPEND WA_FLDCAT TO IT_FLDCAT.
          CLEAR : WA_FLDCAT.
    That's it,it will not display if the field value is zero.
    Hope this helps,

  • How to add blank rows between groups of duplicate rows?

    1             a         b
    2             a         b
    3
    4             c         d

    10           g         h
    11           g         h

    I came up with the following on my own.  I was just hoping there might be a fancier way to do this - like without looping -- and yes, I could/should do this in a presentation layer, but I just wanted to do this in Query Analyzer (or whatever they call
    it now -- SSMS ...) -- BTW, thanks CELKO for the suggestion about how to insert multiple rows using Values -- works great.

  • How to get  visible row  count  in JTable ?

    I have one table which is added to one scroll pane. For example my table have total 1000 rows, but at a time only 20 rows should be visible to the scroll pane. And I want to scroll the rows and show only 20 at a time.When user scrolls JTable then next time he can view only 1 to 21, then 2 to 22, and so on. I want to know how to get that number which represents the visible row( in this case it is 20).So kindly help me how to get visible row count. Any help regarding this will be appriciated.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Sheetal

    how to get visible row count.First you need to get the viewport used by the scrollpane. Then you can use methods like getViewPosition() and getViewSize() to get information about the current postition of and size of the viewport.
    Then you can use the table method getRowAtPoint(). to determine the first and last visible row which can then be used to calculate the visible row count.
    When user scrolls JTable then next time he can view only 1 to 21, then 2 to 22, and so onThis is the default behaviour when a "block" scroll is done.
    However when you click on the arrow button on the scrollbar it will only scroll a single row. You could override the getScrollableUnitIncrement() method to return the value from the getScrollableBlockIncrement() method.
    However the user can still drag the scrollbar manually which would cause a problem. So you would also need to remove the MouseMotionListeners from the scrollbar to prevent this.

    HI,
    The type defination of date difference is P whose default value is 0. for that reason you are getting 0 in v_dat1. and thats why it can't be blank.
    if you using the v_dat1 for futher processing than you can first check whether v_dat1 is 0 or not then you can proceed with your logic...
    OR
    other think you have to delcare another variable of type char, assign your v_dat1 and then SHIFT <char var> LEFT DELETING LEADING '0'.
    Hope it helps

    Vik,
    No need to ask the same question 3 times...
    In [url http://forums.oracle.com/forums/message.jspa?messageID=4590586]this post, Nick showed you how to get the Row.
    If it were so urgent, you could have done a little reading of the javadocs to come up with code like this (not tested, up to you to do that)
    HashMap m = new HashMap();
    Row r = get it like Nick showed you to;
    Object values[]=r.getAttributeValues();
    String names[]=r.getAttributeNames();
    for (int i=0; i<r.getAttributeCount(); i++)
    m.put(names, values[i]);
