Hi:
I want to unpack the BEA's petstore in JBuilder 7 and then deploy it to weblogic

When you compile the generated classes, be sure to put jaxb-rt-1.0-ea.jar in your classpath!

    Hi,
    You don't have to worry about compliation. XI will automatically comple it when you create the udf, activate it and test your mapping. In case of any error it will give compliation error there itself.
    Regarding all the mandatory jar files which are required for compilation is already available in XI server.
    If you are using any third party libraries(jar files) you just need to add the jar file in your external definition and need to import the necessary packages in User Define Function. I hope it answers all your questions.
    Thanks

  • How to compile the AIR app to android emulator

    How to compile the AIR application to run on emulator ?
    May be use the 'adb' command line ?

    -target The type of package to create. The supported package types are:
    air — an AIR package. “air” is the default value and the -target flag does not need to be specified when creating AIR or AIRI files.
    airn — a native application package for devices in the extended television profile.
    native — a native desktop installer. The type of file produced is the native installation format of the operating system on which the command is run:
    EXE — Windows
    DMG — Mac
    DEB — Ubuntu Linux
    RPM — Fedora or OpenSuse Linux
    apk — an Android package. A package produced with this target can only be installed on an Android device, not an emulator.
    apk-debug — an Android package with extra debugging information. (The SWF files in the application must also be compiled with debugging support.)
    apk-emulator — an Android package for use on an emulator without debugging support. (Use the apk-debug target to permit debugging on both emulators and devices.)
    Use the value as per your need. The you can use adb to push the packaged apk to your emulator.

  • How to compile the hint to force selection statement to use index

    Hello expert,
    will you please tell me how to compile the hint to force selection statement to use index?
    Many Thanks,

    Not sure what you mean by compile, but hint is enclosed in /*+ hint */. Index hint is INDEX(table_name,index_name). For example:
    SQL> explain plan for
      2  select * from emp
      3  /
    Explained.
    SQL> @?\rdbms\admin\utlxpls
    PLAN_TABLE_OUTPUT
    Plan hash value: 3956160932
    | Id  | Operation         | Name | Rows  | Bytes | Cost (%CPU)| Time     |
    |   0 | SELECT STATEMENT  |      |    14 |   546 |     3   (0)| 00:00:01 |
    |   1 |  TABLE ACCESS FULL| EMP  |    14 |   546 |     3   (0)| 00:00:01 |
    8 rows selected.
    SQL> explain plan for
      2  select /*+ index(emp,pk_emp) */ *
      3  from emp
      4  /
    Explained.
    SQL> @?\rdbms\admin\utlxpls
    PLAN_TABLE_OUTPUT
    Plan hash value: 4170700152
    | Id  | Operation                   | Name   | Rows  | Bytes | Cost (%CPU)| Time     |
    |   0 | SELECT STATEMENT            |        |    14 |   546 |     2   (0)| 00:00:01 |
    |   1 |  TABLE ACCESS BY INDEX ROWID| EMP    |    14 |   546 |     2   (0)| 00:00:01 |
    |   2 |   INDEX FULL SCAN           | PK_EMP |    14 |       |     1   (0)| 00:00:01 |
    9 rows selected.
    SQL> Hint in the above example is forcing optimizer to use index which resul;ts in a bad execution plan. Most of the time optimizer does not need hints and chooses an optimal plan. In most cases sub-optimal plan is result of stale or incomplete statistics.

  • How to compile the source code?

    Hello,
    I have got the source code and want to custom my nosql db.
    how can I compile the source code?
    thank you!

    You will have to apply some workarounds to achieve your goal, but they are not too bad.
    One problem is that the sources for the Admin Console web application are missing from the distribution. You can build a kvstore.jar that lacks the web application but is functional in every other way. If you need to have the web application in your build, we can discuss that separately.
    You will need to download the hadoop core jar file from http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/hadoop/hadoop-core/0.20.2/hadoop-core-0.20.2.jar .
    Place it in the lib directory of the distribution.
    I've appended to this message a context-style diff to show the changes that are needed in build.xml. You can apply these changes by hand, or use a diff-applying program such as "patch". The diff is small -- only three lines are changed.
    With these changes in place, issue the command "ant jar", which should produce the file dist/lib/kvstore.jar. This jar file has dependencies such that it will not work correctly unless it resides in the same directory as the other jars in the distribution. Therefore you should move dist/lib/kvstore.jar to lib/kvstore.jar before you try to run with it.
    This is certainly harder than it needs to be. We'll consider making this easier to do in a future release.
    Let me know how it goes!

    Frankly, that's really the first hurdle. If you can't get a sample project to compile and run using only information that's available here and in the SDK, you're probably not going to have much luck making anything of your own work.

  • How to make the java files compile for a project created outside of Eclipse

    Hi^^,
    I have created a project outside of Eclipse. It has the following folders
    1. config
    2. source
    3. WEB-INF
    I want to execute the project on remote server. Will it compile automatically creating a new folder for .class files corresponding to the source folder or do i need to include a build.xml to enable the project to create a new folder for .class files. Also pls tell me how do I write this build.xml
    Please advise.

    Hi^^,
    Actually I have created a project without using eclipse.
    My source files are inside WEB-INF/source
    Now I want to compile the files using build.xml so that I can create class files. I am using the following build.xml
    <project name="jsp" default="all" basedir="./">
      <property environment="env"/>
      <property file="ArmorJSP.properties"/>
      <!-- set global properties for this build -->
      <property name="source" value="."/>
      <target name="all" depends="copy, jspc, testservlet"/>
      <!-- Creates jsp_servlet directory under WEB-INF\classes of the Examples Web
        APP and places the compiled jsp classes into it -->
      <target name="jspc">
        <!-- Run ejbc to create the deployable jar file -->
        <java classname="weblogic.jspc" fork="yes">
          <arg line="-webapp ${APPLICATION_HOME} -compileAll -d ${APPLICATION_WEB_CLASSES} ${source}/*.jsp"/>
          <classpath>
            <pathelement path="${WL_HOME}/lib/weblogic_sp.jar;${WL_HOME}/lib/weblogic.jar;${ARMOR_HOME}/ARMORSecurity.jar;${ARMOR_HOME}/ARMORUtil.jar"/>
          </classpath>
        </java>
      </target>
      <!-- Creates jsp_servlet directory under WEB-INF\classes of the Examples Web
        APP and places the compiled Servlets classes into it -->
      <target name="testservlet">
        <!-- Run ejbc to create the deployable jar file -->
        <javac destdir="${APPLICATION_WEB_CLASSES}" srcdir="${source}" includes="*.java">
          <classpath>
            <pathelement path="${WL_HOME}/lib/weblogic_sp.jar;${WL_HOME}/lib/weblogic.jar;${ARMOR_HOME}/ARMORSecurity.jar;${ARMOR_HOME}/ARMORUtil.jar"/>
          </classpath>
        </javac>
      </target>
      <target name="copy">
        <copy todir="${APPLICATION_HOME}">
          <fileset dir="${source}">
            <include name="*.jsp"/>
          </fileset>
        </copy>
      </target>
    </project>I do not know how to compile the project using this build.xml
    The motive of doing all this is to understand how is Eclipse doing the build project step. I simply cannot find any build.xml inside any of my projects created in Eclipse however when right click on the project and choose build project, it compiles excellently. ???

  • How to compile a java file which is in memory?

    how to compile a java file which is in memory?
    such as:
    String s="class MyClass {....}";
    how to compile the string?
    thx

    come on ...That was a perfectly valid solution.
    Do you know how to call the sun.* compiler? If not then search the forums for it. If that interface still exists (which it might not in newer versions) you then will create a string stream from your class and pass it to that.
