How to completly uninstall Adobe Shockwave Player on Mac manually??

I installed adobe shockwave player 11.6.8 and uninstalled the same using uninstaller and then i installed 11.6.5, when i tried to get the version its still displaying 11.6.8 on the path `/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/DirectorShockwave.plugin`. Pls suggest how to get the correct verison of shockwave installed. Also suggest do i need to delete some shockwave cookies, if yes pls suggest the path. am using applescript to get the version

    Enable Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security

I updated the latest version from the above link suggest by Advisor, but still the same issue was showing. Closing looking the latest version of Adobe Shockwave Player is 11.5 and the issue was showing for version 11.0. Looking further, for all the programs installed in Control Panel - Programs, I found my system have both Adobe Shockwave player (11.0 & 11.5). When I use Shockwave Player Uninstaller (sw_uninstaller.exe) this uninstall only new version (11.5) and old version remains without logo.
Please help to uninstall Adobe Shockwave Player version 11.0.

I used the installation program for ShockWave 11.0 with the uninstall switch and this did uninstall it.
Since I am using an SCCM package to deploy the uninstall of SW 11.0 and the install of SW 11.5.6.606,
I used this line in my Installer package:
Execute msiexec /uninstall "Path\SWInstallFileName.msi" /quiet (Wait)
I had to rename the SW 11.0 installation filename since it was the same as the SW 11.5.6.606 installation filename
and I needed to use both .MSIs in my package.
This does not explain why the sw_uninstaller.exe provided by Adobe is not working though.
It would be nice to have an explanation and get this problem corrected so we can use sw_uninstaller.exe.

Hi SunnyMannn-
For programs, "delete" bad. "uninstall" good. You've left
remnants the program and it won't allow you to try again.
You'll need to use the official Adobe Flash Player Uninstall
tool. I don't remember the short path to it, but here's the path:
www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer
scroll down and you'll see the "How to uninstall..." link
which has the tool and instructions. This should work.
If all else fails, you could do a "System Restore" back to
the point prior to starting this mess.

There's no need to completely uninstall flash player; you just need to update to the latest version and everything should work.
To update to the latest version:
# On your keyboard, find the ''Ctrl'' and ''Alt'' keys. They should be near the bottom-left of your keyboard.
# Hold ''Ctrl'' and ''Alt'' down. While holding them down, press ''T''. Then let go of ''Ctrl'' and ''Alt''.
# A terminal window should appear.

# At this point, you'll be asked to type your password in. When you type, it might look like nothing is happening - but don't worry - your password is going in. Right now if you sleep your Air with headphones in, you will lose sound and need to reboot in some peoples instances, and I have verified same.
This of course has nothing to do with Adobe flash player.
Verify this point before uninstalling same.

How to correctly uninstall Adobe Extension Manager CS4 (Mac)

I would like to uninstall Adobe Extension Manager CS4 from my Mac, but so far I haven't been able to find any answers on how to do this properly (or at all.) I've successfully uninstalled all CS4, CS5 and CS6 applications; I also ran the Adobe CS4 Clean Script, to no avail.
I am trying to reclaim space (I only use Creative Cloud) and reduce clutter on my system.
I would appreciate any help/suggestions on this matter.

You have to uninstall FlashPlayer to update it from a download rather than using the auto-updater.
The latest version of Adobe FlashPlayer can be obtained from here:

I'm probably not the first one to ask this but a definite reply/solution would gain in being repeated here again. So, I want to eradicate from my HD (Lion) any and all files however small associated with this insane piece of software (updated again today!). What should/must I trash precisely?
