How to conditional color text in a field

Question

I've searched the Internet and this forum for this, but couldn't find a answer I could use.
In my dataset I have a field that contains a Colorcode. Depending on this code, an onther field in my data has to be colored. How do I do this?
Say the field with the code is called COLORCODE and the field that has to be colored is called MY_DATA_FIELD.
And the possible codes are:
R (for red)
Y (for yellow)
G (for green)
M (for magenta)
BU (for blue)
BA (for black)
When an unknown code comes up, black would be the default color
