Trying to Learn MVC code first with Vs2013 web express on windows 7 os computer. When code runs to create database get: An exception of type 'System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException' occurred in EntityFramework.dll but was not handled in user code
Additional information: CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database 'master'.
Have this problem with the 'OdeToFood' plurasight course as well with the
'developing ASP.NET MvC 4 Web Applications Jump Start' MVA course.
Re-installed sql2008r2 using window
admin user and ran the project and get same message as when i run the project with the none admin user.
What are steps to allow database creation for admin user and none windows admin user?

I believe the problem may be something else because after adding the
user to 'sysadmin' and I still get the message
Additional information: CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database 'master'.
Perhaps I need to go to ASP.NET forum to ask the question.

In Oracle Advanced Security Documentation it is mentioned that i can use SSL concurrently with DB user names and passwords. But when i configure the client certificate on the client my DB connection is getting authenticated using the certificate, which out passing user id or password.
We want to connect to Oracle DB over SSL channel so that the data packets are not in clear text. Also we want the user to make a connection using user id and password.
Basically we want SSL with out authentication.

In a finder window, under 'shared' you should be able to see the windows computer name, click on it and connect to it. I am assuming here you have sharing turned on and permissions granted on the windows computer.
Will add a note though, I have frequently accessed files from a PC on the LAN using XP, not vista.

I install vmware workstation on window XP .On virtual machine install Linux 5 enterprise (Oracle) install.
I install oracle DB software only. Also make 3 disk for ASM .
1 -- When I want to install oracle DB with ASM . In this process candidate disks not show . Why?
How I can see disks ..
so I simple install oracle DB software only.
2 -- Now I want to create database with ASM by DBCA .
What process I will follow ?

Steps to create database with ASM.
1.Install oracle binary with active CRS(For single node installation CRS is activated when you run root.sh) .
2.Create disk without file ssytem.
3.Assign disk to raw .
4.Change owner and permission to raw devices.
5.Configure ASM manually or USing DBCA.
Manually ASM Configuration.
a.Create initialization parameter file and password file.
b.Mandatory parameter is "instance_type=asm" as per your need configure rest of parameter like db_cache_size,large_pool_size,processes,remote_login_passwordfile,shared_pool_size etc..
c.To discover disk configure "asm_diskstring=/dev/raw/raw*"
Using DBCA to configure ASM.
1.In storage type section choose ASM.It will ask for password of sysdba in 10g.
2.ASM configuration window will open -> here it create disk group -> it shows all available ASM candidate disk automatical -> choose normal redundancy,external redundancy or high redundancy.
ASM disk also can be conbfigured with ASMLIB .
If ASM disk is configured you can start asm instance in nomount state and query to v$asm_disk to see all candidate disk.V$asm_disk only shows disk which is configured in asm_diskstrings.

I'm developing a web application using MVC 5, EntityFramework 6 with a Code-First approach.
I have successfully created my tables dbo.AspNetRoles, dbo.AspNetUsers... etc, also I have created some custom tables for example a table that must have a relationship between the menus presented and the role of the authenticated user. What I want to add
to my model is a property like this:
[ForeignKey]public virtual AspNetRoles Roles { get; set; }
But of course I have not an AspNetRoles class, because the framework auto generates the tables only in the SQL database, so my question is, I have to manually create this classes? How can I link them to the database tables, I think the issue may be deeper.
If I can't do this maybe I should go back to SQL manual queries.

If you have a separate model to store your own business model, what you have written should be almost ok, however, please take care the [ForeignKey] attribute is usually used to markup a property as an integer property to specify it as a foreign key:

From your description, the AspNetRoles class seems to be a system class which is not exposed to user. If so, these classes already exists, you do not need to create them again.

sorry, I haven't saved the System-Logfile before restoring my parallels VM.
But it looks like issues of linking data.
For testing the Server services I have done a reset for a user password and I have deleted the profiles and configuration from Client-Side. One with Mac OS X 10.9.1, one iPad with iOS 6.1.3. But it was not possible to reconfigure/reinstall the Server Profile. Also a manually configuration was odd, because for some services the new password was necessary and for other services the old password. Very strange.
To bring back the services I have rolled back the last snapshot of my parallels VM. Afterwards there was no probleme to reconfigure/reinstall the Profile on Client-Side (OS X 10.9.1 and iOS 6.1.3). Also the manually configuration shows the password for all services are matching with the current configuration.
I'm going to install a further parallels VM with Mac OS X 10.9.1 and Server App 3 from scratch to move the services.

To fix this issue, you need to change the Identity of your website's Application Pool to use the
NetworkService account (or the less secure LocalSystem account). By default, IIS7 seems to set the Application Pools Identity to 'ApplicationPoolIdentity' instead of NetworkService or LocalSystem.
Here's a step-by-step guide for determining your websites Application Pool, then changing its Process Model Idenitty in IIS7:
1.Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manger.
2.In the Connections sidebar, drill down into Default Web Site and click on your website.
3.Now in the Actions sidebar (on right side), click on Advance Settings... In the popup box, under General you will see your Application Pool listed for your website (in my case the app pool is: ASP.NET V4.0).
4.Click Cancel... If you choose, you can change the Application Pool here, but for the sake of this example we just wanted to find out what the website's App Pool was.
Then change the app pool's (Process Model) Identity to 'NetworkService', the steps are showed as below:
1.Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manger.
2.In the Connections sidebar, click on Application Pools.
3.Now right-click on theApplication Pool that your website is using (in this case my site is using the ASP.NET v4.0 application pool), and select Advanced Settings... from the menu.
4.In the Advanced Settings pop-up box, locate the Process Model -> Identity section and click on the Application Pool Identity.
5.In the Application Pool Identity pop-up box, change the Built-in account to NetworkService (or if you want LocalSystem), then click OK, and click OK again to save your Advanced Settings changes.

How to configure RDS to let a specific RDS group access a specific RDS server (no VDI or farm) ?

We have one domain with 40 sites. On each site is a RODC, wich also has RDS. (RDS the old way, no broker installed)
The RODC's are 2008R2 and 2012R2 servers.
Everything works fine, however everyone can access all servers as a straight forward RDS user (no VDI).
Everyone is in the build in group for remote user.
I'd like to have people that work on ServerA only are able to contact serverA for RDS.
B on B, C on C and so on ... This for all 40 sites.
I made a policy for each site allowing RDS_A to access server A and so on. Is this the right way to do it, or can I do it having less GPO's ? I need 40 right now!!! Linking the policy to the right OU, containing the specific server.
Something is still wrong, because other people still can access serverA.
I get into it, but maybe I'm doing it wrong, so please give me some advice :)

You can achieve this through group policy but you can do one thing. You can create one group for one server (Suppose group A for server A, B for B, so on). After creating that group add particular user to that group and apply the group policy setting on that
group for particular group.
The group policy which can apply is “Allow users to connect remotely using Remote Desktop Services” under below mention path.

Windows Authenticated User Login

Hi All,
Does anybody know if there are plans to incorporate Windows Authenticated Login to SAP Business One in the future?
We have many customers who ask this question - why should people have to remember a windows login AND one to B1?
If this is not yet planned for release, could you please consider it?

As Patrick mentioned, there is no native support built into the ABAP AS for LDAP authentication via SAPGUI.
As an option and If you have SAP Identity Management you could look at deploying the password hook, this provides an enterprise password of same password approach. Hence end users can enter their MSAD password to gain access to SAP via SAPGUI - it works well.

In our project we are using this type. Since in this project server in UNIX(DEC) and client is running on windows. We have created a listener which always listen requests from client and doing the according to the request.
Step1. create a request table, where u are inserting ur request.
step2. create PRO*C proram, which is listening request on the table. If there is any request, call the imp (executable). This is happening on server side.
Benifit. U can make a request from cleint and ftp the file client sit.
