How to connect with dbf file driver in C#.

Hi
I am using the following command in powerbuilder application to connect dbf file and to select the record from dbf file.
DBemp.dbparm="ConnectString='Driver={Microsoft dBase Driver (*.dbf)};Dbq="+ls_path+";Uid=;Pwd='". It is working fine in powerbuilder . I am looking for the same command to apply in C#. Please any help would be very appreciate.
I had used the following command in C# before but it is not working in every machine
OdbcConnection dBaseConnection = new OdbcConnection("Driver={Microsoft dBASE Driver (*.dbf)};DriverID=277;Dbq=" + filePath +";");
The above command in C# is working fine in some machine but some machine it is not working especially 64 bit operating system.
If I can get the same command as in powerbuilder , I think would be working in every machine. Please can u help

NVIDIA OpenGL driver lost connection with the display driver

3gb Video: NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M

AE CS4
AE keeps crashing. I get the following message while doing something as simple as scrubbing through the timeline, or changing opacity of a layer. in 1080p, I have a picture layer, a solid, some color corrections, and that's it. i just got this new computer and i have never had this problem on my old computer.
this message appears after AE crashes."The NVIDIA OpenGL driver lost connection with the display driver and is unable to continue. The application must close."
this message appears in the taskbar: "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered. Display driver NVIDIA Windows kernel Mode Driver, Version 267.21 stopped responding and has successfully recovered"
any ideas on how to stop AE from causing my display driver to stop working?

For anyone picking up this thread (it's probably too late for rrebeiz40 by now!) I have come across a simple but apparently very effective tip that has solved the 'OpenGL driver lost connection' issue for many people using various NVIDIA with various Adobe progs (incidentally a lot of these seem to crop up on Dell machines, especially Notebooks).
(It fixed my issue with Premiere Pro CS4 - GeForce GT 555M on Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Dell XPSL702X).

"This issue led me to this fix: go to NVIDIA Control Panel --> Manage 3D Settings --> Global Settings, and switch "Power Management Mode" to "Prefer Maximum Performance" (the default "Adaptive" setting seemed to be the culprit). And that's it! The key here is changing the "Global" setting, as my individual programs were already set to "Prefer Maximum Performance." I can cause the error to reoccur by changing back to "Adaptive."

Check with your network team, network conenction between PI and Data base not working , Network team have to open Data base system ports inorder connect PI System.
check with Basis team about network connectivty,like they are bale to ping Data base server ip or not.

In Aperture 3.4.1, I am not able to connect with referenced files on a network

I am running OS X 10.8.2 and Aperture 3.4.1, and am unable to connect with referenced files on a network. Specifically, the referenced files reside on my iMac and I am attempting to connect to them from my MBP. They appear in red in the dialogue box. While I know this has been a long standing issue in other versions, I was hoping it had been solved by now. Any assistance will be appreciated.

The BB has to be set up as a wifi hotspot. After you do that just connect the iPad to the wifi network created on the BB the same way you connect to any other wifi network.

I created new storage account called loremipsum. Using powershell, I created new storage share called loremipsum-01. Called
New-AzureStorageDirectory command to test create directory. It succeeded.
I went to command prompt and called this command:
net use z: \\loremipsum.file.core.windows.net\loremipsum-01 /u:loremipsum blablablablablablamyaccesskey==
Result:
System error 64.
Network name is undefined.
How should I connect to this share, so I can use it as mapped folder in explorer?

When you open System Preferences > Network > Location: Automatic & at Show: is there an option to select External Modem?

Connect to dbf file from jsp with servletexec??

I am trying to connect to a dbf file from a jsp page on an win2003Server with ServletExec. But i get the exception "no suitable driver".
It works fine with the exact same code and file on my winxp machine. This is the connectionstring: url = "jdbc:odbc:;DRIVER=Microsoft dBase VFP Driver (*.dbf);Sourcedb=E:\\Data\\der\\Solutions;Sourcetype=dbf";
I can create a "Microsoft dBase VFP Driver" odbcConnection from the controlPanel and than use the connection from MicrosoftAccess and it works as it should. But I can't use it from the jsp code like this: url="jdbc:odbc:testdriver" .
It feels like I am missing something in servletexec. Like a classpath to the odbcdriver. But in all my other installations I have not done anything more than installed the servletexc correctly and added the classpath for parser.jar and jaxp.jar.
Am I missing something here???

Try putting a Class.forName( "my.jdbc.DriverClass" ) before DriverManager.getConnection( url, user, password ), where "my.jdbc.DriverClass" is the fully-qualified class name of the JDBC driver class. I think that JDBC driver classes have static initializers that register the driver class with the DriverManager. I had a similar problem and the Class.forName( ) fixed it.
If that doesn't work, double-check your URL.

Can we use Heterogeneous Services & Oracle Generic Connectivity for creating dbase DBF file or Writing in dbase DBF file?
I have used it for Excel and Access for connectivity with Oracle 9i
but I dont have any idea about dbase DBF file?
Any help in this reagards will be highly appriciatalble.

HSODBC/DG4ODBC is generic connectivity and you find the generic setup in:
Note.109730.1 How to setup generic connectivity (HSODBC) for 32 bit Windows (Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003)
There is nothing sepcial for DBF's. Just define a system ODBC DSN using a DBASE ODBC driver pointing to the DBF file.
The rest is absolute similar to the note.
If you have already a running HSODBC/DG4ODBC the quickest test is to just define a new system dsn for the DBF file, then change in the init>hsodbc/dg4odbc>.ora file the HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO parameter pointing to the newly created system DSN. Last step is within the Oracle db to define a database link.

I have a problem since I am on Lion with my internet box. I pluged a hard drive on it. On my others computers (on Windows, icluding my mac with bootcamp)
The Lion is unable to connect the HD. I can see it on my finder (but not everytime), but it can't connect with it.
I thaught I found the solution here (in french):

But it didn't work!
I think my probleme is a the step 3 where I have to make a AFP connection. What is it exactly?

That would depend on how your internet box shares out the hard drive. If it doesn't support AFP, then using AFP to connect to it won't work at all. If it does support afp, then go to the Finder and select Connect to Server from the Go menu. For the address, use afp://ip.address.of.router.
You Also might want to check your router help files for how to connect to shared drives.
Apple had to drop Samba, the old SMB/CIFS implementation of Windows File sharing. They wrote their own implementation, but it might not be completely compatible with how your router is sharing out the hard drive.

oracle db running on Windows? Use HSOLESQL. The Foxpro OLEDB driver works well with HSOLEDB whereas the MS Foxpro ODBC driver lacks ODBC conformance level/functionality.
On a Unix platform? You need to find an ODBC driver vendor for Visual Foxpro on Unix.
