How to control ASM related parameter RBAL and ASMB

Hi,
I used RMAN to clone a database using rman's "duplicate target database" option. The prdn database's rcat backup on tapes were used. The restore progressed and eventually kept on failing several times.( We tried some options, like executed it when the tape activity was least, created a tempfile for another db in this db's diskgroup, etc.,etc., but all attempts failed. Not every attempt failed at the same stage ). At every failure I found in alert log the following message :

From the alert log message it is obvious that those two processes in subject RBAL and ASMB are getting stopped and while getting restarted it is throwing the ORA-600 error. There is hit on metalink for this ORA-600.
My question is, do we have a way to tell those processes not to stop at first place? If not how to get fix this issue.

I have never seen this before, I think it a good candidate of having a SR with oracle.

How to control the R/3 prod and BW prod when diff teams works at the same

Hi Friends,
I would like to check with you guys, I'm working for support project at the same time different teams are using same server.
If the different teams are being used same Master data as well, We don't know what are the teams developing which are the objects.
Now the problem is when we check in the BW production every time having probem e.g: Inactive Masterdata Info Object, ODS replication etc.
I would like to ask you guys, Normally this being the case, How we can control the R/3 Production and BW production.
Can anybody give some valuable inputs...if it's applicable we'll implements in my project as well.

If am correct , your concern is when a development team sends some objects to production as part of their project, you see discrepencies of some master data being inactive .
Your Question is,How to coordinate those?
You sais you are working for Support means Data loads, then development team also works for the same server moving to Prod. then obviously there should be soem integration of all the teams for the work going live in production, maintain a call with all your team when and all objects are moving to Production and check if any impact of those objects for you when they are moved to Prod.
But all the time objects moved to prod will be supported by the development team for short period for its stabilization there.
Hope you need to have coordination with the team .......

How to control the line in--- PLAY and STOP ?

   This is the volume control library downloaded from NI wed site .It is help for my task.
   My task is to control the line in with LabVIEW, for example STOP, PLAY and adjust volume with LabVIEW button.Though the example I see the volume control can be enablement.But I don't know how to design the PLAY and STOP button.
   I see it is similar to the volume control.There is function to control the the PLAY and STOP in the system Library-winmm.dll. I don't know whether all I think is right.I have the following serial question. How to use the function?How to understand the system Library?I can't acquire some information from it and I don't know the input and output parameter in the funcion.

MS 12.0.1: How to control inital location of value and refdes text?

When I use an opamp part from the master database, the part number (value?) and refdes are always initially located well away from the symbol. When I create my own opamp, the part number and refdes are located right by the symbol, typically blocking some pins. I do realize I can move the text. What I'd rather do is know what to do when creating the part that makes the text pieces be initially well away from the pins.

OK, thanks. I'll try that. However, it doesn't seem very practical to create a part, then have to mess around with the symbol so that the text fields don't get in the way when placed.
When I create a footprint in UB, I can control whether or not the component value and/or refdes will show up on the silkscreen layer, and if they do display, I can control their initial position.
When I create a component in MS and I choose to edit the symbol in the symbol editor, I should be able to control the same thing.

How to solve problem related to svchost and Adobe flash player 11.6 r602 failing to work?

I have been consistently facing a serious problem regarding the firefox I use. It's Firefox 20.0.1. I use Windows 7 and I have 8 gb of Ram.
The problem is after I launch Firefox two dialogue boxes appear in quick succession one telling that "svchost.exe has stopped working" and another is telling about "Adobe Flash Player 11.6 r602 has stopped working". The firefox immediately stops working and I have to use the task manager to close the program...even resort to restart the computer sometimes.
Please tell me solution applying which I can get out of this problem.

I think your response is not correct. The ASM instance will require a parameter file, just like any other Oracle instance. As of 11gR2, the ASM spfile is stored automatically in the first disk group created during the Grid Infrastructure installation.
The trick is that ASM can read the spfile stored on ASM disks through the css cluster daemon and reading the ASM device header. People here in the forum and on the Internet have written good and detailed information about this, for instance:

I want to know the functionality of requestURI
I am using display:tag with jsp and struts
when i click on the column name (for sorting)
then the action executed is

and when i click on page no say 2 then the action executed is

here noOfRecords is the fields we are setting to display records per page
I want to know what are these values d-49520-s ,d-49520-p and d-49520-o
Is there any way to control this.
I am really struck in this.
Because when ever i am updating value say in page 2(there is listing say 1 2 3 Next Last) then the value is updated but after updating the control(view) goes to page 1
This is the problem from updating at any page after updating the view comes to 1 page
I have searched all but found nothing.
Any kind of help would we appreciated.

HDR (High Dynamic Range) helps you get great shots, even in high-contrast situations. The best parts of three quick shots, taken at different exposures (long, normal, and short), are blended together into a single photo.
Keep the normal photo in addition to the HDR version. Go to Settings > Photos & Camera > Keep Normal Photo. Both the normal and HDR versions of the photo appear in Photos. HDR versions of photos in your albums are marked with “HDR” in the corner.

I have a requirement that I want to show pop up/ modal dialog when I click on list item column "upload/Edit" (in EditForm.aspx) . In Modal Dialog I have to show upload button and also existed items if any. Here the attachments will store into document
library's folder .The list item ID should be the folder name in document library.
How do I set relation between list and doc lib ?

How to control the measure based on the related dimension.

In order to improve performance, I have created three kinds of time tables in DB,such as Year .Month, Day.
Then import them into the physical layer in RPD, and combine them into one dimension in BMM.
Actually, it has three level fact related with three time tables,so they are also dragged into one fact in BMM,and one column will be corresponding with three column derived from different Fact table in physical layer.
So I want to know how to control the measure based on the related dimension.
For example:
when users drag the Year,Sales column, it will come from Year Dimension and Year Fact Table.
when users drag the Month,Sales column, it will come from Month Dimension and Month Fact Table.
when users drag the Day,Sales column, it will come from Day Dimension and Day Fact Table.

Create a dimension Hierarchy, with Year >> Month >> Day Levels and
Next Double click on Year Table LTS >> click on Ocntetnt Tab >> set as Year
same way for Month LTS and Day LTS.
So now when you select year column then server canknow which LTS to hit and Hits Year LTS.

How to control Color Mode and Resolution for brochure creation?

I am trying to find some settings within Pages, where I could set CMYK color mode and 300 dpi resolution for my pdf file.
I am creating brochure from scratch, using blank document, because non of brochure templates work for what I need. But I can't find any controls for color mode and resolution set up.
Is there any solution for this?

There has been a lot of discussion in the Pages forum about resolution and some on CMYK.
Much of the discussion has been incorrect.
For the colour handling there is the colour palette
The Apple Colour Palette is the user interface for colour managing vector objects created in Apple Pages such as rules and panels and for colour managing one class of vector objects not created in Apple Pages, namely typographic objects.
Imported objects maintain their colourant model and colour space, if there is one. If there is none, a colour space is assigned and the assigned colour space is saved out into the PDF, opposite e.g. Adobe Photoshop which will colour manage the object in the open editing session, but will then save out the object to disk without the assigned ICC profile if 'Colour Management: Off' is configured.
Therefore, if the imported object is data space CMYK and the colour space device CMYK, the system will assign the Generic CMYK Profile which is equivalent to ANSI CGATS TR001 colourimetry (US SWOP); if the imported object is data space RGB and the colour space is device RGB, the system will assign the Generic RGB Profile which is equivalent to sRGB colourimetry in OS X 10.5 and higher.
In general, always capture and then convert for correction in one of two data spaces with three channels, either ICC colour managed RGB or ICC CIELa*b D50. Then convert to CMYK1, CMYK2, CMYK3, CMYKn from the ICC colour space chosen for correction and archiving. This colour space should be large enough to hold any colours that the output colour spaces can hold.
The Apple ColorSync Utility has a gamut comparison dialogue which is 3D (point, press, and turn the 3D gamut comparison). Use this facility to pick an ICC colour space of reasonable size and shape for correction and conversion into final output. Don't pick sRGB as a quick look will show that it can't hold as input what ISO reference offset can hold as output for pure cyan, let alone hold what a big inkjet can hold in greens, blues, reds and yellows.
The ICC architecture lets the ICC profile for the printed output match out of gamut colours to in gamut colours using the Perceptual rendering intent, as intended in the original architecture from 1995. Adobe internally introduced an inhouse conversion for compatibility with PostScript and as default for PDF, Relative Colorimetric with Adobe Black Point Compension. Relative Colorimetric is in fact a proofing transform, without gamut mapping. Black Point Compensation is a simple linear scaling of the lightness to compensate for the fact that the shadows will be clipped in a Relative Colorimetric conversion.
The other problem is transparency, introduced in the QuickDraw Graphics Extension for Mac OS 7.5. Transparency is not supported in any version of Adobe PostScript (level 1, level 2 or level 3). Transparency is also not supported in any version of Adobe PDF prior to version 1.4 and higher. Therefore, unless the RIP Raster Image Processor is able to accept PDF 1.4 and higher, transparency has to be rendered / flattened which is done in the PDF/X-3 filter of the Apple ColorSync Utility.
The idea in the PDF/X-3 filter (for Adobe PDF 1.3) is that the everyday enduser, after placing ICC colour managed RGB or CIE La*b D50 objects, and after choosing an ICC colour space for objects created in Pages, chooses the ICC colour space for the output condition. The filter accepts both ICC profiles of type MNTR Monitor with data space RGB, ICC profiles of type PRTR Printer with data space RGB, and ICC profiles of type PRTR Printer with data sapce CMYK.
The colourant conversion (RGB to CMYK) and the gamut mapping (out of gamut colours in input colour spaces mapped to in gamut colours in output colour space) is then calculated as per the ICC profile for the output condition. An output condition is the combination of factors that affect how colour is formed: the colour lightness and colour tint of the paper, the colours of the colourants, and the tone value increase. Think of gamut mapping in a good ICC profile as Format 1 kerning in a TrueType font (where your font has state-based kerning for up to 8 glyphs simultaneously).
Below a link to a discussion of how to change the default PDF/X-3 filter the Apple ColorSync Utility. Read the second thread you have a link to. While both of these will produce PWM signals, the first one is a couple of orders of magnitude too slow to do anything useful in control the speed of a motor, what you would see would be the motor run at the full speed, then stop for a period, then run at full speed, rather than at the "average of on and off" as the Pulse Widths will be very long relative to the motor's response. The second one has a better chance, IF all you want to do is run the motor. If there is any other calculations ... Look at both and try and get an understanding of what they are doing. For PWM speed control of a motor you really need a pretty fast pulse width, and probably some filtering to smooth out the resulting "harsh" waveform, giving you the "average" voltage resulting from the PWM.

How to control "Procurement parameter" for plant stock.

I have changed Subject and question as below;
Our customer wants to create P.R manually before MRP running for some of reason.
After create Project/WBS/Network/Activity and assign component to Activity, when assign
component to activity, set "Procurement parameter""Requisition + reservation for WBS elemen",
then P.R is automatically created. For project stock it seems OK. However when I try to do
same thing for plant stock, I can choose only "Reservation for network". How to control this part?
Experts, please give me your advice.

Hi,
Create a Procurement Key in OPS8 and under Priorities give Priority 1 to Plant stock and 2 to Project Stock.
So attach a material to Activity in CJ20N a reservation will be created without AcctAssgcat Q ,Special Stock Q.
Here in this case you can directly issue goods to project also if unrestricted stock is availabe ,here the system will consider only 281 Now.
After you run MRP ,system will create PRs on the basis of Requirement and availabity but without the reference of WBSE because you are creating PR for Plant stock.
