Hi All
I working in oracle Apex,with oracle pl/sql
Here there is one table named as AgreemenBusiness continuity and we are dealing with agreement.Here when we create new agreement With BUSINESSCONTINUITY "ANUALLY" then the agreement startdate is 10.3.2010 and enddate is 11.03.2011 so now i need to send mail to the specific contact person daily form 6-03-2011.
Can any one give sample data and tell me how to do this

Doesn't Apex provide email functionality, I'd be surprised if it didn't include some kind of email mechanism for you to work with.

How to create an excel report and send it via email using a BPEL process ?

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to develop a xl report based the data in the DB table. I will have to query the list of records entered / processed during previous day, generated the xl based report and send to users via email.
I talked to one the experts, he asked me to use the following Adapter and BPEL activities to accomplish it.
DBAdapter --> {BPEL process} --> Java Embedding --> Email Activity.
Can someone please help me to pass the information retrieved by DBAdapter to Java Embedding and then to email import? I have created DBAdapter and Java Embedding. I don't know, how to retrieve the data read / sent by DBAdapter using Java Embedding. Also please help me to pass the xl attachment to Email Activity.

I would suggest something like:
DBAdapter --> Bpel Process --> File Adapter --> write file to location (you can write in csv which can be imported into xls)
Read Location --> FileAdapter --> Bpel Process --> Email Activity

Httpmail and sending msn-mail through Mail

Dear all,
have been reading posts related receiving and sending mail from other mail-services using Mail. But have not found a good answer to my problem (which seems to be relatively widespread).
Have an old MSN email-ancount that I would like to continue to use after upgrading to mac. Downloaded version 1.49 of the Httpmail, installed following directions in the attached file, and mail from my msn account immediately started pouring in. Success!
Except for the fact, that I can't send mail from the msn account (can send mail using .mac without problems). Despite having tried a whole bunch of choices regarding the server (including 'none', and different server ports (25, 587), I keep being unable to send mail from the msn-account.
Help would be highly appreciated.

Ensure your account information is as follows - outgoing mail server (smtp) should read HTTPMail:myemailname
Where i've written "myemailname" put the first part of your hotmail address then save and close the screen. You should be okay after that, good luck

How do I set the 3G to SEND e-mail through G-Mail?

We went to the Apple store and the folks there set my wife's 3G iPhone up for a G-MAIL IMAP account which seems to work if I send an e-mail to her new G-mail account... but if I try to SEND an outgoing message using MAIL on the 3G it does not work. What else needs to be configured?... or is it just a one way thing?

It should not be necessary to use the ATT server, because Gmail setup works perfectly.
smtp host name = smtp.gmail.com
User name = [email protected] (don't forget the @gmail.com bit)
Use SSL = ON
Authentication = Password
Server port 587
All these things got set up pretty well by themselves (other than the ones only I know such as password) by simpy selecting gmail from the options panel when setting up a new server.
For each mail account, you can set up multiple smtp servers. This is where the AT&T server comes in handy.
By adding the AT&T SMTP server (Just set it ON, all other settings are there already) you can have a backup for when your main outgoing server is down. (Be advised this can make your mail look sort of spammy to many spam filters - smtp domain not = your email domain).
BY THE WAY: You will be much happier if you go into your Gmail settings and enable Imap. That way Gmail is consistent everywhere with regard to folders and contents. (Imap is much preferred in all accounts, so much so, that I won't use my lame comcast Pop account at all).

From Enterprise Manager, click on Administraion Tab, Click on the Jobs link under Database Scheduler. Click the Create button and follow the screens and prompts as required.

1. The ALV Grid Control is a tool with which you can output non-hierarchical lists in a
standardized format. The list data is displayed as a table on the screen.
The ALV Grid Control offers a range of interactive standard list functions that users need
frequently (find, sort, filter, calculate totals and subtotals, print, print preview, send list,
export list (in different formats), and so on. These functions are implemented in the
proxy object class. You as the programmer have the possibility to turn off functions not
needed. In most cases the implementations of the standard functions provided by the
control are sufficient. However, if required, you can adjust these implementations to
meet application-specific needs.
You can add self-defined functions to the toolbar, if necessary.
The ALV Grid Control allows users to adjust the layout of lists to meet their individual
requirements (for example, they can swap columns, hide columns, set filters for the
data to be displayed, calculate totals, and so on). The settings (list customizing) made
by a specific user are called a display variant. Display variants can be saved on a userspecific
or on a global basis. If such display variants exist for a list, they can be offered
to the user for selection. If a display variant is set as the default variant, the associated
list is always displayed based on the settings of this variant.

Sap provides a set of ALV (ABAP LIST VIEWER) function modules which can be put into use to embellish the output of a report. This set of ALV functions is used to enhance the readability and functionality of any report output. Cases arise in sap when the output of a report contains columns extending more than 255 characters in length.
In such cases, this set of ALV functions can help choose selected columns and arrange the different columns from a report output and also save different variants for report display. This is a very efficient tool for dynamically sorting and arranging the columns from a report output.
The report output can contain up to 90 columns in the display with the wide array of display options.

After completion of all the data fetching from the database and append this data into an Internal Table. say I_ITAB.

Also, do a search in this forum on HttpURLConnection. That class allows you to use POST method to send form data to a web server.
"Hidden" variables are only hidden in HTML. The HTTP that gets POSTed to the web server doesn't distinguish between hidden and not hidden. That is, the content you would write to the HttpURLConnection.getOutputStream() would be something like:
hidden=1&submit=ok(Of course, the variable names would depend on what the web server was expecting from the form.)
Also, be sure to set the Content-Type request parameter to "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"

Hi Oktay -
This function works in my BPC70NW SP02 system. Your issue might be that you are trying to access a TIME member that does not exist. Please make sure the offset value is a valid dimension member.
I can confirm that EVTIM does allow the offset for base members (such as 2009.MAY) as well as parent nodes (such as 2009.Q1 or 2008.TOTAL)... BUT...the offset result of the EVTIM function needs to be a valid dimension member!

Hi Tomesh,
Floating Holidays are created for holidays for which the dates are not decided for the years ahead or dates may changes each year or when a unusual holiday is just introducted for one year.
1.Use transaction SCAL or use the IMG path to the holiday calender.
2.Create a new holiday and select the option " is a movable holiday".
3.Fill in the " public holiday attribute tab" and hit insert date.
4.Fill in the year, month and date for the floating holiday or you could do multiple years at the same time if dates are know and hit create.
5. The new public holiday is created.
6.Assign the new holiday to the holiday calender, while saving you will get a message that " an irregular public holiday is created and being save hit ok. This message will appear in cases when the holiday calender validity and the validity of the floating holiday are matching.
Generate the work schedules and check if th holiday appear in the work schedule.
Award point if useful.

Hi ,
any progarm can be scheduled, wether it may be BDC or report thru SM36 Tcode.
But do rememeber that if ur BDC is using GUI_UPLOAD function module, then it wont work , coz the function Gui_upload or GUI_DOWNLOAd wont work in back ground.
If u r going to use OPEN_DATASET , READ dataset ....then it can be scheduled. i.e BDC can work if ur program retrievesz the data from Application server.
