How to create a response in proxy svc while business svc has no response?

Hi all,
I have a business service which inserts a record into the databse. And I have a proxy service which routes the request to that business service.
My question is how to make the proxy service return a response with something like this: *<status>success</status>*
While the business service does not return anything.

You also have to keep in mind that if you are using a replace / insert / assign node, that has to be done in the Response Pipeline of the Proxy Service (In case you don't have a Route Node). This is because the message flow in OSB follws the path something like (Request Pipeline) -> (Route Node) -> (Response Pipeline). You may have also noticed that $body (request) is different from $body (response). The latter gets initialised after Route Node execution. The response pipeline also comes into effect once a route node has been executed

    I am working on XDB Native web Services (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/appdev.111/b28369/xdb_web_services.htm#CHDDBCHB). I want to create a proxy web service for orawsv service (http://server:port/orawsv?wsdl), which is protected by an user/password
    In Jdeveloper 10133:
    + copy orawsv wsdl (http://server:port/orawsv?wsdl) in local file
    + create a proxy web service form the local wsdl (from the wizard)
    + implement the client (http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/11gr1_db/datamgmt/xmldb2_b/xmldb2_b.htm)
    ==> OK
    In Jdeveloper 11g
    + copy orawsv wsdl (http://server:port/orawsv?wsdl) in local file
    + create a proxy web service form the local wsdl (from the wizard)
    + how to implement the client : there is no method to set a password
    any ideas?

    I'm working on getting a proxy web service working in 11g and the contents of this thread is close to answering my question.
    The web service proxy is accessing a service that requires a SOAP Security header.
    In looking at the previous post, I thought that by using the BindingProvider API I could add the security settings. But when I invoke the proxy I consistently get the following error response from the (PeopleSoft) web service: "com.sun.xml.ws.client.ClientTransportException: request requires HTTP authentication: Unauthorized'
    In contrast to that error, when I use JDeveloper's HTTP Analyzer, I get a successful response from the web service. Below is what the raw HTTP looks like:

    Is the Bindingprovider interface the correct way to add the soap security headers? Or am I following the wrong path?

    As is pointed out what you would like to do is old fashioned Anchors, real easy on a conventional site but not so easy in iWeb.
    I made an FAQ by just making questions followed by answers and increasing font size and using bold to make the questions stand out so it is easy to use.
    Much more work for you but will approximate what you are trying to achieve is this: On the FAQ page make your list of questions each of which you will make into a hyperlink to go to another page. For every question add a blank page to write the answer on. Uncheck the relevant box so that that page does not appear in the navigation bar. Write your answer on that page then under it make a hyperlink back to the FAQ page. The page would also by default have the normal navigation menu at the top, but adding a "Close Window" or "Back To FAQ" link that is actually just a hyperlink to the FAQ page is helpful for site visitors.
    While a lot of work to make the extra pages it should work well and solve your problem.
    The simplicity of iWeb soon provides problems as soon as you want to do more than the basics offered.

    In a SAP-BW and BO environment using Business Object Universe generator, it appears that BO requires direct data base connectivity to read data from BW.
    In XI/XI R2 , it use an RFC connection (MDX driver, which makes BAPI, SAP API calls) to SAP BW to obtain the details of the BW Query or Info Cube for building the Universe using the XI/XIR2 Business Objects designer application. The request for the query or cube details is done VIA BAPI function calls. For the SAP BW Query we must have “allow External Access to this query” checked under the Query Property window.
    Our Integrated Solution Kits do not access the SAP BW’s data source.

    The following operation fails:

    ERROR in line 2:
    ORA-00932: inconsistent data type: required - , but CLOB presented.
    But if creating views from only ONE table with CLOB-type columns, or from two tables WITHOUT CLOB-typed columns, the creation will succeed. The following 1) and 2) will succeed, both:
    1) one table, with CLOB-typed column
    create view dummyview (id, dummy, dummyclob) as
    select id, dummy, dummyclob from test;
    2) two tables, without CLOB-typed columns
    create view dummyview (id, dummy) as
    select id, dummy from test
    union
    select id, dummy from test_bak;
    I want to merge the two tables all, with complete columns, how to write the CREATE VIEW SQL statement?

    In other words, do the set operation (UNION (ALL)/INTERSECT/MINUS) on just the PK columns before pulling in the LOB columns.

    I guess it should be similar to PI 7.0 environment wherein you have to create message interface in IR. Then use SPROXY transaction at R3 (not XI). From there you may select the interface and create proxy. For this make sure that abap proxy is activated at your R3 system.

    You can try this.
    How to create a Package For Proxy Generation in R/3
    For proxies you need to create a four level package. Goto the Transaction SPACKAGE and Give your own package name starting with Z and choose create.
    Then create SAI_SXMS and SAI_TOOLS Package interfaces in the use access tab page. Now include a new package name in Package included tab page.
    Double click on your new packge name continue the same steps 2 more times,
    now the four level package has been created, you can use 
    the first given pakage name as a package name for creating packages
