OracleConnection con = new OracleConnection() run slow in first time

My PC has got
Win7 64 bit; VS2010; Oracle Data access version:2.112.1.2
When I running my ASP.NET project the next line run too slow:
OracleConnection con = new OracleConnection();
in first time (it is betwen 1-5 min), but sumtimes run well.
After this line run well in my project.
What is the problem??
I thought of problems the antivirus program. We uninstall that, but the problem is present. :(
What we do??

Not normal, I have had a few iMacs and they have never done that. I imagine even with the standard option 5400rpm drive in the new 21.5" iMacs it should still boot faster. Take it back, its new get another one.

Pls share ur ideasAs kajbj said - you need to store a token / file with a run date on the file system. Each time the application runs, have it compare with the date from this file with the current date. If different, it's the first run of the day. If not, it is not the first run of the day. Each time have it update the date on the file.

Why is my new macbook running slow?

I've had this computer since August 2012 and now it's suddently starting to run slow. The spinning wheel keeps appearing evertime I use the computer. I tired shuting down and restarting the thing but it still acts the same. It pops up every few seconds and it's frustrating. I also tried deleting history and other things to make the computer work faster but nothing seems to work.
This all started happening on Saturday. It was working fine since then. I don't know what's the problem. Simply just clicking on anything now is a hassel.

I am also so dsappointed of buying macbook pro for the first time,and to think it was just almost a month ago....I am worried about the over heating issue,battery span that never lasprot that long as what the advertisement says...I really take extra care of this gadget because it is my first time having this so expenssive lappy...Ooohhh before I forget,my gadget is Macbook Pro 13 with memory of 8gb 1600 MHz DDR3..processor 2.9GHz Intel core I7...the only heave application tha I downloaded was the Mountain Lion I think ,and it was updated now from 10.8.1 - 10.8.2 ..maybe the next heavy app is the google chrome...and the rest is those apps that I bought from the Apple store that didnt cost me $10...before buying this unit ,I am using a lappy from Gateway with windows OS that runs slowly because of maybe being so old...lol I am using it for almost 3yrs because I only bought it from a junk shop alternately with Dell desktop thats so cheap,I only bought it almost $200 from a junkshop still.now after learning to fix and upgrade computers,I upgraded the DELL desktop from 1GB to 2GB,but I upraded my hardrive from 80gb to 1000gb...now I did test booting the 2,the desktop and this new Macbook Pro.my dell really boot so fast half more than this macbook pro...when I am downloading videos,really the Dell desktop have the fastest loading and downloading...I am not kidding and telling lies...I am so shock to know the real truth....I am sorry, but i is really true...But I promise my self to take care of this gadget because its my first time to have a genuinely brand new gadget and so expenssive...if no one believe this, i will upload a video on my youtube accnt just to prove that I am not telling a lie...oooh before I forget...just to prove that this gadget is geguine and new, here is the Serial Number of my Macbook Pro 13 which I posses almost a month now.. Slow the first time to run

when I run safari after turning on my pc, it is too slow to start.. how can optimize safari to avoid this delay. any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Loading at startup or first time launched? Vista is doing so much already at startup I don't auto load anything extra.
Empty cache from the Edit menu would be one thing to try. Also delete history.
There is no way to control how large the cache file gets.
Does it check for RSS updates or anything?

Running reports in CMC is Slow (the first time)

when we first log into CMC - the report takes 10 minutes or more to run.
when you run it subsequent times - it takes less than 15 seconds...
what could be causing this unbearable delay the first time?
I've seen some people say that you should build a blank report that users can run first - that is not a solution....

Check the same query on DB, notice how much it takes to run.
What might be happening here is, first time when it ran, that may be normal time it takes to run the report. After that, WEBI processing server (assuming you are running WEBI report) keep it in cache, so next time when it runs for the same data, it takes it from the cache, instead of querying the DB again. That is the reason, you see the results quickly.

I recently built a new windows PC for the first time. My (new) wife and I both have itunes accounts, which we would like to use under different windows accounts on same PC. However, when I try to download my wife's songs it gives me an error.

I am recently married to a wonderful woman and just built a windows PC for the first time. The idea was that we would (sorta) both be able to get a new computer out of it as we would each have a different account under windows. One of the first tasks was to migrate over our iTunes libraries. I did mine with no problem, but now that I'm try to do hers, I'm getting an error message saying "if you download past purchases with your Apple ID, you cannot auto-download or download purchases with a different Apple ID for 90 days."
What's the best solution for this? I want my wife to be able to use the new computer under her windows account just like it's her new computer, to the extent possible. I don't want our two iTunes accounts to be fighting each other and causing problems because they are on the same physical machine. What to do? Surely this can't be the first time this has happened - where two people each want to have their own iTunes account on the same computer.
This is the latest version of iTunes (12.0.1.26) running on Windows 8.1.

SPM 2.1 datasource background activity when running report for first time

Hi All,
When I log into SPM and click New -> Report, the cursor changes to the timer icon before i drag in a dimension or run a report.
In SM66 there is an SQL read statement that appears to coincide with this front end behaviour.
Often this process times out in the front end with a timeout error and "time dimension value help failed".
Then if i go to create a new report again, a new tab opens, and it opens instantly and there is no SQL read statement.
Why is an SQL read statement occurring at this point before any data is selected?
Why does it take so long?

We initialize the time dimension when the reporting console is opened for the first time. Sometimes depending on the load on your server , this could take a long time thus timing out. I would suggest you to look at the load on your java server. Also , check if there are any background processes running on the ABAP side. Also take a look at the timeout limit in Application Properties and see if you can increase this limit.This might help initially.
As mentioned , the time dimension is only initialized when the reporting console is opened for the fist time in a given session. This explains why you don't see such a behavior subsequently.

When I copy paste a document and click on the button it raises a COM exception but if I click continue and click on the button again, the correct grade level score is displayed.Cant figure out why this is happening.

Slow start first time for domain user

When a domain user (Active Directory, Win2003) starts StarOffice 8 first time, it takes very often about 10 minutes until the program is started with a 10MB-network. Next time it takes only about 15-45 seconds on the same computer. I have noticed that is very high network traffic when the user starts the program first time from the server where the user folder "Application data" is saved. But the StarOffice8 folder in "Application data" has only the size of 2.8 MB (38 folders and 87 files).
Can I speed up the first start of StarOffice 8 for new users?
Is "copy files from another users Application data/StarOffice8" a solution?

I've a req something like this...
Please assist me so that i could hit the right target.
A datalog.txt file would be appended with the data everytime i run the exe.
However if i close (be specific not stop) the entire exe
And run the exe after opening it for the first time, it should ask me wehther to delete or append the existing datalog file.
In short whenever running the exe for the first time it should ask the user whether to delete the existing datalog.txt or append the old one.
THis is my req please help me...

You can use an uninitialized shift register, that you wire with a TRUE on the right side. Its output on the left will only be false the first time the VI is run and true for subsequent runs.
Still, an exe should always run. Design it as as a proper state machine with an idle state when you don't what it to perform anything specific.
