How to create anchors on a CFLoop

Question

Well first of all let me just say that I am a beginner on CF.
And I say this so that whom ever is so kind on answering would do
so in a way that it is easy for me to understand.
I have actually created a site that reads off a database and
selects categories.
the categories are all in one page so when I click on
Category C I need the link to take it to the middle of the page
where I have category B products.
I have never done this with CF and I read that this is
possible , but just dont see one answer that I would understand.
I am not even sure if I am making sense?

You want to set anchors line so:
<a name="CategoryA">CategoryA</a>
and you link to that part of the page like so:
<a href="#CategoryA">CategoryA</a>
Here is some test code to show the concept:

Now in your example, you page may be set up like so:
