How to create buttons create insert delete in BCALV_TEST_GRID_EDITABLE

Hi,
I am analysing the BCALV_TEST_GRID_EDITABLE,
but in that GRID they add the buttons Create,Delete,Insert,Append.
But in the coding they didn't declare the events like ADD_TOOL_BAR.
then how they added the buttons into the toolbar.
could you please anybody help me in analysing the Report.

Execute PL/SQL using the defaul Create button.

I have created an application and everyting with working fine.
I have one page where I create a work order. This is saved by using the default create button.
What I want to do now is, when I save I want to execute some PL/SQL, so essentially kicking off another process.
Is this possible? Is so how.

Since you want PL/SQL procedure to be fired after clicking the default create button, create a a conditional PL/SQL process. Please follow the below steps:
1. Create a page process (Click process create icon under page processing in edit page). Choose process category as 'PL/SQL'. Click 'Next'.
2. Enter the PL/SQL procedure that should be executed on clicking the button. (In your case, it is the sql insert statement). Click 'Next'
3. Enter the success and failure message if required. Click 'Next'
4. For'When Button Pressed' select list, please choose the Default 'Create' Button. Press 'Create Process'.

To Disable 'CREATE' button

Hi i have a requirement like to disable one CREATE Button(Creating of Business Partner IS-FS-CM) which is in standard ALV report.I can eliminate that button from PF status of that screen but we are not supposed to change the existing code.But that screen is BDT implemented.
Can you please help out me how to disable that button w/o changing the standard SAP code

For example say your PF sataus name is 'STATUS-100' and function code for create is 'CREATE'.
then in your part of code use the following syntax,
SET PF-STATUS 'STATUS-100' EXCLUDING 'CREATE'.

Close popup data input window once CREATE button pressed?

Hello,
I have a data input form opened as a popup, it contains 2 buttons (CANCEL & CREATE). The cancel button just uses the javascript:window.close(); command and works fine. The CREATE button creates the record correctly but when it tries to close (using a branch with the same javascript command as the create button), it fails and I get the following:
The window doesn't close.
It gives me the error: Cannot find server. The page cannot be displayed.
Does anyone know how I can close the popup form after a new record has been successfully created.

Hi
I think it does not work because you cannot close and submit a page at the same time. One idea is to create an empty page, and add this code to the Page HTML body attribute:
onload=window.close();
Then make the popup page branch to this page after submit...

Hi,
Please do not use an already created variant for index deletion. It might delete indices of some other cube.
You can follow the following steps -
1. Open the chain in Edit mode and click on "Process Types" button
2. On the Left hand side you will have various process types. Choose "Data Target Administration" and expand it.
3. Choose the first process "Delete Index" (it will be marked with a trash bin sign) and drag it to your chain
4. It will ask you create a variant. Press the create Button
5. In new window enter the Process Variant technical name and description
6. Then in new window choose Object Type = Cube through dropdown and Object name via browsing. After choosing the cube name click on "Transfer Selections"
7. Save and return to your chain
8. It will automatically generate a create index step also after delete index.
9. You need to break the link between create and delete step and insert infopackage in between to get the following steps - delete index --> load cube --> create index.

How would I create buttons states for MCs I am creating abstract MCs

I am creating a generic website that would have abstract MCs that would load jpg or TXT fields for the user interface to allow for fast updates to the site. The MCs that would make up the user interface would be empty and load things into it using XML or PHP later on. How would I create button states for the user interface MCs. I started creating a function for every MC button state but I thought there might be a more efficient way.
would creating a array help in this case?
and is using URLRequest the way to link to pages with in a movie well the flash movie that is the site it's self?

click insert/new symbol, tick movieclip, assign a name, tick export for actionscript and in the class textfield enter a name (say ButtonClass) and click ok.
attached to the first frame of your new movieclip, type stop() in the actions panel. put whatever graphic you want on-stage for your button's up stage. create another keyframe, label it "over" and put whatever graphic you want for button's over state on-stage.
in a layer above those graphics, you'll probably want to add a dynamic textfield so each of your buttons can have different text. assign the textfield and instance name (say tf) and extend its timeline to the last frame of your movieclip button.
then when you want to create a button, on your timeline you can use:

For loop and xml - how to point the right content in a XML file with a dynamically created button?

as my first experience in AS3 I'm bulding a photo multigallery. In that gallery I have some buttons, each one pointing to its respective set of images.
Each button is created with the for loop, that picks the information from a XML file. From this XML I get the text of the button, the position etc. What I did with some sucess. But there is a scary problem: I don't know how to make each button load the respective and unique set of images.
I've tryied several different methods, with no effect, to make each loop to give to each button an unique identity to load the respective set of images.
I imagine that the solution pass by the use of arrays. I wrote some code, and I guess that I'm almost there (but not sure). Here is my AS3 code until now:

There is new functionality to a ‘Layout’ type personalization page like ‘Sales Dashboard’.
Bug 4503123 INCONSISTENT WAY OF ADDING USER-DEFINED REGIONS ON WYSIWYG PAGE:
There’s no way to add custom content to a configurable page.
Add a “Create Content” button and let the user create a piece of content that extends to a region he creates.

In Oracle® Application Framework Personalization Guide Release 11i Part No. B25439-02 it says:

If you personalize a non-configurable page (a page that does not have the necessary metadata to personalize its layout) or when you run your application in Accessibility mode (profile option Self Service Accessibility Features (ICX_ACCESSIBILITY_FEATURES) is set to Standard Accessibility), you will not see the Page Layout Personalization page, as shown below. Instead, you will see the Page Hierarchy Personalization page, page 4-12, where you can perform the same personalization functions, using a descriptive tabular user interface.
It tried this and can’t get it to display.

Can you describe your issue in detail forgetting those references for the time being. What exactly are you trying to do?
Check this from the dev guide:
In order to be able to take full advantage of page layout personalization capabilities, it is important when you create your configurable page, to use flexibleLayout and flexibleContent regions at all levels when you create the page hierarchy structure under your page layout region. In Oracle Applications, this is required, as it is the coding standard.

How to disable programmatically created Submit Button in ProcessFormRequest

I'm working on an issue where i have created an Upload button Programmatically. The upload button should get disabled after it is clicked. The code for the upload button creation is as below. This has been added in the processRequest of CO.
