Dear All,
How to create a dummy plant for keeping the useless stock : -
What should be configured and what should not for the same???

it is better you create a storage location with description of scrap.
then transfer the useless material from other location to that using movt type 311(mb1b).
later on you can scrap that material when u get an approval from management.using movt type 551.
plant is not a better option.

    As path has been already provided in previous post.
    For New Plant :
    Once you are in define-copy-delete-check plant.
    select Copy-delete-check plant
    thne press F6 for copy org. object
    Usally copy-delete-check plant is selected it will copy all exisiting tables of that plant to new plant.
    For new Purchase Org. :
    Once you are in screen select "new enteries "or "copy as" whatever you like.
    Then you have to assign purchasing orgnization to plant or company code.. in aasigment > Materials management
    for New Purchasing group :
    From path already mentioned earlier either create new or copy as ...
    moreover there is no assigment needed its just a group of purchasing . You can use p.grp with any p.org if checks are not there however these checks will be there based on procurement process. In our orgnization its there. ie System will not allow you to use some purchasing group for import / sub contracting etc.
    For new Storage location I have already posted in your previous thread.

    We have a requirement where we need to overlap multiple tables and based on user selection any one of the table should display in report.
    We are on BO 4.0 and source is BW Bex report, we dont have any Universe.
    To achieve this we plan to have dummy variable with some fix value and use it as report filter & based on selected value in filter the related table should be display.
    We have not found any way to have dummy variable directly in Webi.
    Is their any way we can create dummy variable directly in Webi?

    lets say u want to display following picture:
    sept$-----august$
    City
    -chicago123$--
    44$
    so in Query designer go to Default values section.
    Bring in Calendar month
    right click calendar month
    and hit Restrict
    now select variable
    use standard sap variable Current Month.
    hit okey
    now select Variable and hit Red button
    Result u restricted current month.
    in columns bring in keyfigure $
    right click and hit edit
    bring in time field calendar month
    right click and hit restrict
    bring in Current month
    right click and select - SET OFFSET FOR VARIABLE
    select -1
    hit okey
    repeat the above process
    and this time select offset = -2
    this way u restricted current month
    but displayed last 2 months for keyfigure values.

    What is difference between original wbs elements and dummy ones.
    Or they are just the same configurationwise.

    There is no true dummy WBS like a dummy profit center. It is project master data and set up determines what it will do and not do. They are the same config wise. FYI there is a carryforward function that can be used at eoy.

  • Sales - Dummy Plant for Non-Valuated Material

    Dear Gurus,
    I have a requirement for SD implementation where the business involves non-valuated material.
    The sales scenario does not required data on stock to be captured in the system.
    There are 5 sites to where the same material is supplied from.
    Hence, the sales documents to be configured are sales order and order-related billing.
    However, the following requirements are also included in the sales scenario:
         1. Generate a sales report, with sales order data extracted by sites where the material is supplied from.
         2. Product price for the same material differs, because it depends on the site that the material is supplied from.
    I have thought of using a dummy plant to cater for this scenario.
    Seeking your advice whether this is a good practise for this case.
    Batch management has also been suggested to me.
    However, per my reading, batch management is closely related to goods issue (which is not in scope).
    I would appreciate your advice on this matter.

    Hai,
    To involve Non valuated material in SAP, instead of creating Dummy plant, create a Non valuated material type NV0102003.  Through material master it can be easily achieved by creating a material type without Accounting tab.
    So in SAP system the stock will be shown but without any financial impact, and stock also can be monitored thro system.
    In MM01 every thing is common between the finished goods and Non valuated goods.
    Automatic batch management will be determined in Delivery order creation.
    Since you created the material you can maintain the rate with the plant combination.
    and sales report can be generated with the delivery plant combination

    Steps to get SELECT-OPTIONS in module pool programs.
    1.Start one dialog program with SAPMZ_001.
    Place the below code in the TOP include of the dialog program.
    TABLES marc.
    SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 3200 AS SUBSCREEN.
    SELECT-OPTIONS: werks FOR marc-werks.
    SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 3200. 
    2 .Create one screen 3000.
    Go to Layout of the screen and Define subscreen area on the screen and Name it as l_subscreen.
    Place the below code in the Flow logic of the screen.
    PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
      CALL SUBSCREEN l_subscreen INCLUDING 'SAPMZ_001' '3200'.
    PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
      CALL SUBSCREEN l_subscreen.
    Activate all.
    Create Transaction code for the dialog program .
    Execute the transaction code. You will see the select-option for werks how we see on Selection-screen.

    you are asked to maintain the access sequence for the tax condition for which you are putting 7.5%.
    goto OBQ1 or img..financial accounting new...global settings.... taxes on sales and purchases ......basic settings.....
    find the tax condition type. see in it which access sequence is attached.
    if there is none then use JTAX used for taxes in India.
    or you can create the similar one for your.
    to create the same goto OBQ2.
    new entry or copy JTAX.
    and assign the access sequence to condition type.
    this will resolve your problem if you just need to assign the access sequence.

    HI,
    Go to OX02 and create a company code by copying the standard company code 0001 / 1000
    Then go to OX10 and create a plant by copying the standard plant 0001 / 1000
    OX09 - maintain storage loaction for the created plant
    OX08 - create purchase org copying from standrard 0001 / 1000
    Go to OX18 and assign your plant to company code
    OX17 assign purchase org to plant
    In order to get the tcode go to SPRO and in the top menu click on additional informations - additional information - display key - IMG activity.
    After you select this then in the SPRO you have a column additional information comes up. each and every activity in SPRO will have and additional informatiom, in the additional information the last 4 characters is tcode.
    Eg : SIMG_CFMENUSAPCOX02 this is the additional information for CC. the last 4 characters OX02 is the tcode

    In the note 1149346 that you have mentioned, it says -
    You must start the input-ready query in change mode.
    BEx Analyzer: In the properties of the analysis grid, the switch
    "Suppress new rows" must not be set.  Furthermore,
    the switch "Allow entry of plant values"
    must be set in the local query properties.
    I have not seen this setting Allow entry of plant values in a query - can you tell what is refers to?

  • How to create a user account by mirroring another account in PowerShell (Trying to learn to use Powshell for some daily AD tasks intead of the GUI)

    I am trying to create user accounts via PowerShell instead of the Gui in server 2008 R2 (PowerShell 2.0).
    I know how to create a user account with the following Power Shell command below is one from a dummy domain I created to practice.

    However when doing day to day tasks where I work normally we have a new hire, they contact IT and ask that a user account is created.   I will ask who they would like to mirror.
    I then would go into the gui pull up the user that they want to mirror right click him and choose copy.  This would create a new user account that I would then fill out.
    I am wondering if its possible to do this same thing via PowerShell, or  if its not an option because it takes more work type up everything than it does to go into the gui and do it.

    On another note, Wilder: While I fully agree that learning things sequentially is usually the best, I too jumped right in instead of learning how to walk first (though it's been some time now. Fewer years than you'd think, but still ...). So I thought I'd
    give you a little aid with that function husk, so you could just stuff interesting bits into an available structure, making use of the fun tools in a useful context (It's fun fiddling around with the commands, but if you have to type in all of them manually
    each time, using the GUI is often just faster. Doing fun things and being efficient with it feels even better though ...). So ... while I

    This is the segment that tells Powershell what input your function accepts. Each parameter of Copy-ADUser you set will be available in the next segment as a variable of the same name. You can add additional parameters if you need more information for your
    logic. For example, let's add a parameter that allows you to specify what Organization the new user should belong to:

    That's how that would look like. You may notice that I didn't add the line with
    "[Parameter(Mandatory = $true)] this time. This means you
    may add the Organization parameter when calling Copy-ADUser, but you need not.

    This is the part of the function that does the actual work. Compared to the first husk I posted, this time there are two commands in it (and some comments). First, I create a new user, using the information passed into
    the parameters -Surname and -GivenName. Then I Copy the group memberships of the user identified by the information given by the
    -Template parameter.
    So, let's modify it!

    Now after adding a few lines, the logic will tell us what it's doing (and do so before it
    is taking action)!
    Hm ... didn't we create a change in the Parameter Segment to add an -Organization parameter? Let's use it!

    There! Now we first check whether the -Organization parameter was set (it's not mandatory after all, so you can skip it). If it
    was set, do whatever is in the curly braces after if (...). However, if it wasn't set, do whatever is in the curly braces after
    else.
    And that concludes my "minor" (and hopefully helpful) tutorial on how to use the function husk I posted :)
    With this, whenever you find another cool command that helps you in the user creation process, you can simply add it, similar to what I did in these examples.
    And if it all didn't make much sense, go through the tutorials in proper order and come back - it'll make much more sense then.
