here when I create one ISO with 3G(larger than 2G) on solaris 10 machine, I met below error:
mkisofs: File too large. cannot fwrite 32768*1
Anyone has suggestion for this problem? How to create one ISO files larger than 2G?

How to create one pdf file out of several pages documents?

I have created several seperate pages documents and want to merge them now to one pdf file. Currently if have exported only single pages documents in the pdf format to the documents app from readdle. I would prefer to order them in pages (e.g. in a folder) and convert the whole folder afterwords to a single pdf document.

I have 5 view objects (Suppose A,B,C,D,E) and I have created view links between them like
A->B
A->C
A->D
A->E
Then I am shuttling views in Application module (In Data model Tab) to create A as master and rest as details.
But it is not creating as i want.
I add new instance of view object independently.
Please solve this

I can quite see your point of faster response time, but by compiling for different operating systems you are NOT taking advantage of Java's write once, run anywhere property. Rather, it's a write once, compile everywhere.
I'm not criticising you for doing multiple compiles since there is much confusion amongst new computer users which JRE they are running, if they realise they are at all. In particular if you are able to control or know beforehand what computers the program is intended to be run on then it is particularly apt. But let's not say we are doing something when we aren't. Java was designed so it could be used over the web, and therefore designed for portability. That's where the write once, run anywhere concept came from. By compiling for different platforms you are destroying one of the key design principles of Java.
But let's be real. Compile the program for 3 or 4 different OS, and that's almost all of the market. For the rest, make a bytecode version available and they can run it in their own VM if they want.

Well you can do exactly the same with a folder of photos, just put in the Users/Shared folder.
Iphoto is a mite more complex than this. It's a database and so there's a bit more involved.
For iPhoto 09 (version 8.0.2) and later:
What you mean by 'share'.
If you want the other user to be able to see the pics, but not add to, change or alter your library, then enable Sharing in your iPhoto (Preferences -> Sharing), leave iPhoto running and use Fast User Switching to open the other account. In that account, enable 'Look For Shared Libraries'. Your Library will appear in the other source pane.
Any user can drag a pic from the Shared Library to their own in the iPhoto Window.
Remember iPhoto must be running in both accounts for this to work.
If you want the other user to have the same access to the library as you: to be able to add, edit, organise, keyword etc.
Quit iPhoto in both accounts. Move the Library to the Users / Shared Folder
(You can also use an external HD set to ignore permissions, a Disk Image or even partition your Hard Disk.)
In each account in turn: Double click on the Library to open it. (You may be asked to repair the Library Permissions.) From that point on, this will be the default library location. Both accounts will have full access to the library, in fact, both accounts will 'own' it.
However, there is a catch with this system and it is a significant one. iPhoto is not a multi-user app., it does not have the code to negotiate two users simultaneously writing to the database, and trying will cause db corruption. So only one user at a time, and back up, back up back up.

SEPA file – how to create one file for multiple company codes

My company has multiple company codes and they process automatic payments (F110) for multiple company codes in the same run.
The company wants to generate one SEPA file for all company codes.
In OBPM1 for SEPA format in the section ``Payment medium output devided by level of detail`` I unchecked everything (attached).
OBPM4 for SEPA format is showing `` No separation of payment medium output``.
Unfortunately, when I run automatic payments (F110) for multiple codes, multiple files for each company code are created.
Can anyone let me know how it is possible to create one SEPA file that will contain payments for multiple company codes?

Please check in transaction DMEE your format tree (eg. SEPA_CT), 'DMEE tree: properties' - tab 'Sort/key field'. Is the Sort/key field 'ZBUKR' defined there with Level 1?

You can format the drive using ExFAT or you can format the drive NTFS then use third-party software on the Mac to enable writing to it: NTFS 11.2.443.

Dear All,
I want to create a SINGLE page pdf file from two or more page size images that are combined to make a single page pdf. Again, this question is on pdfs that are made out of several, atleast two color images and a black-and-white mask for one of them.
I have such pdf files from an unknown source (the producer is edited out) whereby there are three tiff images, obtained using the well known pdfimages extractor.
When I want to make a pdf out of tiff or png or other image formats, I right click and tell Adobe Acrobat to make a pdf.
However, I dont know how I can give a command to select say, three tif images and specify which is the mask for which and then join them in a way that I get the pdf from the composite of the two color images and a mask for one of them.
Please help me out.
I am a little familiar with the pdf structure skeleton and when necessary, fixed xref tables in one of my favorite editors. A few years ago, I also wrote a bunch of javascripts to make some annotations and needed some automation and used some itext type libraries. However, I need your help in this problem as I am now rusty and forgot some of what I studied to solve my earlier problems. This is a new problem for me. Gentle hints from you would be very nice to help me in this problem. Please specify if necessary what manual and pages to read. in the pdfspec.

Well, ascii format or uncompressed format that is human readable. I
know its a binary file, but human readable ascii version of it.
I hope you can give me some stanza and various other approaches
possible so I can select or combine things for myself. I see only a
miniscule number of posts claiming to have written masks in this forum
and then with no details.

I have an Oracle Express Edition 10g running on Redhat Enterprise Linux 4 server.
I have an Oracle database file which is 2.1 GB in size. I am not able to open this file using the application or the Oracle sql developer. The error message that I get is:
ORA-01110: data file 5: '/usr/lib/oracle/xe/oradata/XE/service_3_0.dbf'
ORA-27041: unable to open file
Linux Error: 13: Permission denied
I think this has to do with the fact that since it is not a 64-bit Linux but a 32-bit Linux, it does not support files larger than 2GB. What do you think I should do to tackle this problem?

ThayalanThat's interesting! I had no problems with opening files 32767MB in size on the very same 32 bit RH EL 4.0. How did you conclude that your file is too large, based on the error message which reads "Linux Error: 13: Permission denied"? Have you tried reading the manual page for the "open" system call and see when does it return EACCESS (error 13), found in /usr/include/asm-i386/errno.h. My man page for open says the following:
ERRORS
EACCES The requested access to the file is not allowed, or search per-
mission is denied for one of the directories in the path prefix
of pathname, or the file did not exist yet and write access to
the parent directory is not allowed. (See also path_resolution(7).)
What lead you to the conclusion that your file is too big? Do you have an access to a system administrator who knows how to use "strace"? If your system admin doesn't know how to use "strace", he too deserves waterboarding.

In terms of converting java applications into exe files, there are 3 schools of thought:
1) Instead of converting it to an exe, convert it to a jar file. Jar files are more portable than exe files because they can be double-clicked on any operating system. The caveat is that a Java interpreter must be installed on the target computer for the double-clicking to work.

2) Create an exe launcher that, when double-clicked, attempts to find a Java interpreter on the local computer and launches the Java application. The exe file is still double-clickable but whether your java application runs depends on whether a Java interpretor is installed on the target computer.

I have created multiple instances of OC4J that are configured to run on different ports and so on each instance I have deployed a single web application . And I started the 2 oc4j instances by transferring thier error/log messages to a file. And the other way is ..
I have download from jakarta site a package called servhelper . This servhelper is a thread that is started in a startup servlet and stopped in the destroy method of that startup servlet. So this thread will automatically capture all the system.out.println's and will print those to a file. I believe that this thread program is synchronized. So in this method I need not run multiple instances of OC4J instead each deployed web application on single instance of oc4j uses the same thread program (ofcourse a copy of thread program is put in each of the deployed web applications directories) to log messages on to different log files.
Can you comment on my above 2 approached to logging debugging messages and a compartive explanation to LOG4J and how to use LOG4J using a simple servlet, simple jsp is appreciated ...

Here's a slightly simplified version (saved in 8.6). There's no need for the Get/Set File Position. The file position is already being incremented with the read.
