How to create Quotation from Ad hoc cost estimation of cProjects?

Please help me in resolving the issue given below. I am able to get ad hoc cost estimation results in accounting screen, but not able to create a Quotation from Ad hoc cost estimation of cProjects.
I am here with providing necessary steps to be followed. But these buttons are not available in my accounting screen.
Prerequisites
A reference quotation has been linked to the project under Structure  Object Links. An ad hoc cost estimate has been created for the project.
Procedure
1.     Choose the Accounting tab.
2.     Choose link Ad Hoc Cost Estimate.
3.     Enter client, user and password to log on to SAP ECC.
The client, user and password must be entered if Single Sign On is not activated
4.     On the Ad Hoc Cost Estimate screen, choose  .
5.     On the Easy Cost Planning screen, choose  .
6.     Choose  .
7.     Choose Yes when you are prompted with u201CDo you really want to create the quotation?u201D
8.     Write down the Quotation number :_______________
9.     Choose  .
Result
Quotation in SAP ERP has been created.
Please respond to this at the earliest. Points are given for your reply. I would be great if any one provides step by step procedure for IMG activities.  Thanks in advance.

The cost planning function is executed by Easy Cost Planning (ECP). The cost estimate is always created at project level and is always single-level. The organizational data relevant to costing (controlling area, company code, and master cost center for the derivation of the activity type under which the allocation is reported) is derived from the HR organizational unit specified in the project definition. The costs are calculated based on the rates for the resource, project role, or task. For more information, see Costing Logic.
The revenues are calculated automatically if you have selected the option Use Cost/Revenue Rates from cProjects or Use Sales Pricing in SAP ERP as the revenue calculation type for the project type that you are using for the project. You make this selection in Customizing for Collaboration Projects, by choosing Connection to External Systems -> Accounting Integration -> Make General Settings. With the last option, the revenues are calculated with the dynamic item processor (DIP). For more information, see Sales Pricing for cProjects. Then you can also call up sales pricing from within the ad hoc cost estimate.
You can archive the ad hoc cost estimate in SAP ECC (archiving object CO_ECP) if the project has the status To Be Archived.
Technically, the ad hoc cost estimate is saved in SAP ECC with reference to the cProjects project number. When the project is transferred, it is recosted and the cost estimate stored for the account assignment object.

  • Create quotation from DP81

    Hello Experts,
    I run DP81for creating quotation from the sales pricing which comes from the planned cost of my project.
    Dynamic items are created based on the activity type. Eg: Junior consultant - 100 hrs - $10000,
    Senior Consultant-100hrs-$20000
    When I convert the dynamic items to quotation, each dynamic items are converted to each quotation line item.
    I dont want this to happen because I am going to send quotation to my customer as services. Eg: Line item 1 - Implementation service - $30,000. I want all the dynamic items aggregated to one quotation line item.
    How to do this? I have tried with "individual quantity not checked". I have selected Activity type as the characteristics.
    Any thoughts would be great for me.

    Hello all,
    To achieve this,
    1. Check the check box - 'Product' in the DIP profile characteristics.
    2. Configure the pricing in the item category of the service level material as statistical.
    This will aggregate all the dynamic items into your Service level material in the sales order/contract and shows the value in the service level material.

       If your requirement to create Quotation from WEB - UI by uploading text file then sorry i don't that procedure. But if your requirement is report program you need to use FM to create Quotation. First upload the data using standard FM into local internal table. Use CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN fm to create quotation. For your better understanding put a break point in that fm, create Quotation in CRMD_ORDER t.code. And make a note of all inputs which you have to supply to fm . From there now you can supply your flat-file with same type of inputs.

    when we create quotation from opportunity in crmd_order all products(those are listed in opportuity) displays in item selection screen with enable check box but we want only those products enabled which has Status 'closed-proposal submitted'. how we customized it.

    Hi Ekta,
    If you wish to copy materails which have a particular status, u will have to make use of copy control badi CRM_COPY_BADI.
    This cannot be configured using the standard customizing.

    Have you tried File>Scripts>SaveDocsAsPDF? There should be a folder of sample scripts installed in your AICS3 folder and a folder of documentation which contains an Illustrator AppleScript Reference which has examples.

    The IDOC structure is available in the system, but you have to do the settings in WE20 and RFC connection settings and lot more. search in SCN for how to set up a idoc, you will get lot of wikis and discussions related to it.

    when i am creating an quotation from the existing quotation using the COPY button in the crmd_order
    i get an runtime error (DUMP)
    "GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED" C
    "SAPLSLVC" or "LSLVCF36"
    "DATA_TABLE_FILL"
    this is happenning in production server,  but in the development and quality and maintenance servers
    we are not facing this dump.
    can you please explain,  how to proceed in fixing this dump..

    I have problem with create analysis from two different areas with two different models (Model Star and Snowflakes) build in BI Admin tools.
    First Model A = Subject Area A have one fact tables (with measures) and three dimensions tables (Model Star)
    Second Model B = Subject Area B have one fact table (no measures) and five dimensions tables (Model Snowflakes).
    I'm looking solutions how I can give good results. In this case I can't use UNION, INTERSECT etc., because this models haven't the same number column and data type?
    whether it is possible to do in OBIEE?

    One thing to understand is that if your are imagining having two Subject Areas (SAs) displayed and then dragging columns from each into your Request without any preparation, then no, that can't be done. You would need to do a join in the BMM layer and expose the column from the second Subject Area in the presentation layer.
    But if you indeed interested in UNION (or intersect) queries, then do this:
    Build your first query in the first SA in the usual manner. Note the number of columns and the data types of each column.
    Now at the bottom of the Criteria workspace, there is a button called "Combine with similar request." Click it.
    Select your second SA. You will note that the outlines of the columns in your first query appear. This is to remind you that the number of columns in this second query must be the same as in the first. It also shows the data type of each column for the same reason.
    Once you select your columns and your filters, click on result. (Oh, you will also need to decide what kind of combination you want -- click on the dropdown.) The result will be a new Request that has data from both SAs in the query and combined in the manner you select (union, intersect, etc.)
    That should give you a start.

  • How to create reports from my existing web application on Java/J2EE with Oracle Client 10g as the backend?? Help sought for

    Our company has developed an  Web Application and we are also looking out for the development of reports using Business Objects Exterprise XI Release 2 and for this purporse I do require some help from the forum who can literally show me how to get on and working on creating the reports.

    Thats why I thought I should make the following chain in the keystore, possibly in this order.
    1. My private key (simply generated in the server)
    2. Import Root certificates from NS
    3. Import Trusted certificate issued by NS
    Then when I sign with my private key surely an association will be formed to the trusted authority certificate. The problem I'm having is when I first made my private key I used openSSL as it was only intended for HTTPS. Now I need to create a keystore so I can use jarsigner to sign the jar file, and I can't see how to create a keystore using my existing private key. Surely if I created a new key and self sign, then import the trusted certificate the association will fail, as the private key will not be the same 1 that I used to make the CSR when applying for the trusted certificate.

    For clipboard copy, I start with File > New and the size will be set to what's in the clipboard. Then once the new file is opened, Edit > Paste will place the clipboard contents as a layer in the new document.
    You must remember to use the command Layer > Flatten Image of you want to save as jpeg or any other file format that doesn't support layers.
    For processing multiple files,
    File > Automate > Batch or
    File > Scripts > Image Processor...
    Check the User guide or google information for those commands if you have specific needs.
