How to create thumbnail of an image

i have an image item in which i am uploading jpg files.
i set the Sizing Style Property to Adjust but it creates uploaded image's height and width less compared to my image item's height and width.
what would i do to display image of my image item's height and width?

However, if you want to create gifs/jpegs and save them to the disk it depends from where you want to create the images. It is different if you are creating from another image or just drawing one from scratch etc.. But in the end you will probably need to use one of the imageencoder classes and write the result to the disk with the file io classes.

If you are quality conscious to the point that bicubic isn't enough, google for Lanczos algorithm. I don't know of a plug-and-play Lanczos Java implementation. I did one myself (company property, sorry) based on some other language version that google will find for you.

Select the thumbnail image and link it to the larger image file.
Use DW Behaviors Panel and hit the plus + sign.

How to create a seperate database image / disk?

Has anyone found a way how to create a database image like the one Oracle provides for 11g to be used in conjunction with a system image (I'm refering to the "guest templates" Oracle offers)?
I would like to create an image from an Oracle 10g R2-database, that ends up as a Xen-mountable image (e.g. "oracle10g.img"). So without the Linux OS inside. The OS wil reside in "system.img".
So in the end the vm.cfg disk-entry will look like this:

I want to create a thumbnail image of size 200 x 200 pixels from an image of any size.
As the thumbnail is square, I'm centering the image according to size.
The code I'm using is working fine BUT after centering and resizing original image
and writing it to output file the remaining area is of black color.
I want the background should be transparent.

Change this line

...to use a BufferedImage type that supports transparency like TYPE_INT_ARGB or TYBE_4BYTE_ABGR (I would recommend the latter since your saving the image).
Also, btw, you're not going to like the quality of the thumbnail if the image is reduced by more then half its size.

How to create a grayscale georaster image

Anyways, the above code works and when i try to export, i can see a rgb image file.
But, i need to create a grayscale image. Can anyone let me know how can i specify and create a grayscale georaster image. Please note that my cell values are decimals type.

In your second command, you copied the "*" from my post. That is not part of the command. It supposed to turn the text into bold. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
My suggestion was for you to try to work with a single-band image. I don't know what are the other commands you have in your code but are you sure that the error message "invalid band and layer number" is coming from sdo_geor.createTemplate? You might have some code after that is still expecting the 3 bands and that is where the error is coming from.
So here is the summary:
If what you want to see is a "grayscale" image and your data type is 32BIT_REAL, there is no need to 3 bands. If you have to have 3 bands. You can use GeoRasterViewer and play with the option "View>Show Layer Mapping" or alt+p to select the band you want to see. If you want to see band 1, select "1" for Red, "1" for Green and "1" for Blue and click on "Refresh".
Photo viewers can only handle well unsigned 8 bit integer. I suspect. On GeoRasterView you might try the "Image" processing option to find the best representation of the cell values of that image.

I need help to create windows server 2012R2 image that can be used as template for AWS or Azure or any other cloud provider.
VM created from that template must
1) be syspreped
2) answer all setup questions
3) must change computer name to unique name
4) must automatically join VM to on-premise domain.
I need Microsoft supported way to do that. Does creating unattended answer file will help? But, I don't want to provide domain joining credentials in plain text. Where should I keep that answer file so that it can be used during setup process.
Is there any other ways to achieve that.

Im have Quicktime Pro and I want to make an animation. I tried selecting some pictures I have saved "random," but I could only select 1 at a time. So, Im thinking that making an Image Sequence is a separate operation from making it come alive? My question, how do I create an "image sequence?" Say I have a digital cam and I take 20 pictures? The problem is, that the "thumbnail" is only created of the
last selected image. I think it has something to do with the
