How to create Websevice and deploy on Server using Oracle SOA 10g ?

Is that possible to create WSDL without BPEL process ? How to do this ?? And how to deploy it ??

Create a java Class with your code and expose it as a web service in JDeveloper it self.
Go to Resources folder-you will find webservices.deploy-right click on it deploy to your application server.
Use the url provided at the end of the WSDL file to access this Webservice.
Incase of deploying this webservice on some other environment-take the .ear file and upload in the application tab and then do deployment.

You could use datasources. You should do this in your BC4J Configuration. Then when deploying your applicaiton use the command -installDataSource (from admin.jar) to create the right datasource.
You could probably use the name of your connection + "DS" so you can also use it locally in JDeveloper as JDev seesm to create this automaticly for your Connections.

Hi JV,
Yes you can create rows dynamically in a table in IF. You can follow the instruction in [this link|Re: Dynamic Table - same data repeating in all rows] to create the dynamic table.

Yes it is having a receive activity , it receives the cXML from Ariba Adaapter. I checked the adapter it is up.
I generated the jar and deployed through BPEL console still i get the same error.

How to create SAR and deploy in OCCAS

Is there any eclipse plugin for occas server or How occas server can be handled from eclipse?

To create a EAR file in JDeveloper, select the project node and choose NEW from the context menu.
In the NEW gallery select "Deployment Profiles" and choose EAR from the list.
Deployment:
- Create a connection in Oracle JDeveloper to OC4J and deploy directly
- Use java -jar admin.jar .... in OC4J 10.1.2
- Use Oracle Enterprise Manager Console with OC4J 10.1.3

If the jar that you have created is going to be used in J2EE application there are few options available:
1. Add this to WEB-INF/lib folder so that it becomes part of your application
2. If you are using Apache Tomcat and you want your jar file to be accessed by all applications that you run on same server add that jar file to:
<Drive>apache-tomcat-5.5.27\shared\lib
3. If you are using any IDE and you need this for testing purpose only add this to your classpath

How can I create a directory on my server using FTP in applescript?

I have created a script which successfully uploads files to my server using FTP and a curl command.
The one thing I haven't worked out how to do is how to create a directory on my server using applescript. At the moment I have to manually create the correct directory for the script to work, but would like to be able to automate everything.
Would this be possible?

Like I said, all works fine when the directories are already in place. I have permissions for the artists folder set to "777", i.e. writable. Because the script is trying to create two directories at once, i.e. "artistName2" and then "assets" under it, I wondered if this was significant, but then I tried with just one new directory, and still got the error.

Hi Gurprit,
A null value is being passed at runtime. Make sure that you enter values when filling in the form.
Also check for the cardinality of the nodes being used. You can also initiliaze your value attributes as follows:
In wdDoInit() method:
wdContext.currentNodeAElement.setValueA("");
Context is as follows:

I'm making a webservice that has to generate a XML file, sign it using another webservice and return this XML. The problem is that i don't know how to create the file in the server throught webservice.

Well the File object doesn't create a file it's simply an abstract representation of file and directory pathnames.
You can try something like this:

AFIK, Restore Points doesn’t exist in Windows 2008.
Volume Shadow Copy option can be used to achieve:
Creating consistent backups of open files and applications
Creating shadow copies for shared folders
Creating transportable shadow copies using a hardware provider — for backup, testing and data mining scenarios
Quickly recovering and restoring files and data
It is more like a file, data, application backup.

Thanks for the reply.
My question is.
0BATCH is a field in both R/3 and BW.
so it allows only UPPER CASE letters.
Unfortunately some records are in LOWER CASE.
So i got a error in BW side when loading data from R/3 to BW.
so i want to change that field properties .
I have to create one request on 0BATCH field and send it to BASIS team.
Give me reply .

In the ant task definitions for ant-oracle-classes.jar (see antlib.xml) there are two tasks called
     name="restartServer" classname="oracle.ant.taskdefs.deploy.JSR88StartServer"
     name="shutdownServer" classname="oracle.ant.taskdefs.deploy.JSR88ShutdownServer"
I thought that these would shutdown and start the OC4J server. I guessed the parameters as – (Does anyone know where 50 ant targets are documented?)

This, however does not start and stop the SOA suite. To do that I've hacked this solution together -

This sort of works – except when the SOA suite doesn't stop cleanly – and needs user interaction to press a Close button. This isn't very useful when doing a continous integration build and deploy.
So, does anyone have any suggestions or alternative methods to do this?

Actually if the server throws exceptions when it stops (which it always has since we applied patch 10.1.3.3) this technique will pause until a user responds to pop-up ... So a better way (I think) is -

Hi,
Here is the steps to creat a JNDI lookup using Datasource for MSSQL Server. Follow this and use necessary oracle parameters (in bold) as gives by me in the help link above.
Click DataSources in the same path i.e. server > services > JDBC connector
Click new driver or datasource.
Enter/ Set the following properties:
Main Tab
DataSource Name : KAAR_DS
Add Alias : KAAR
SRI
Driver Name : KaarSQLDriver
JDBC version :2.0 (with XA support)
<b>Object factory : com.microsoft.jdbcx.sqlserver.SQLServerDataSourceFactory
DataSource Type : ConnectionPoolDataSource
CPDS classname : com.microsoft.jdbcx.sqlserver.SQLServerDataSource</b>
Additional tab
Add the following properties (key-value):
serverName = localhost
databaseName = KA4
portNumber = 1433
user = CV
password =<password>
Save and restart J2EE. The datasource is now ready to use.
Connection Pooling
Initial connection : 0
Maximum connection : 100
Maximum time to wait for connection : 60
Default connection isolation : DEFAULT
SQL Engine
Select, Vendor SQL
DB Initialization Tab
Add a valid sql statement, and execute. If it is successfully executed, a popup window comes up saying Executing <sql query> . OK.
It is done. Now you can use the JNDI look up name in your coding to access the database. Get connection and use the queries to fetch data from db.
