How to customized LogonTicket for SSO ?

Hi all.
We have this situation.
We configure SSO of LoginTicket method for EP - R3.
However, but some users id is e000xx, some other users id is 0000xx.
There is some userid is started with 'e' and some is started with '0'
for R3, userid is started with 'e', e00xx.
My question is when we create iview to connect to R3, could we customize this userid ? Is there some way to transfer some 0000xx userid to e000xx ?

Since you are using SSO with Logonticket method there is no problem whether userid in R3 start with 'e' or '0'. If the portal user id and R3 user id are same no need for user mapping. If the Portal user id and R3 userid are different then by user mapping you can view the iview. No need to give the passord just by mapping the user name of portal with user name of R3 SSO is maintained.

  • How to import  user  for SSO (i.e ssoimp.cmd)

    Hi,
    i installed portal 3.0.7 and tried to transport the application from development to production server.Both uses same DB,same Portal version & same apache server version.This is the order mentioned for importing: I too did the same way.
    Import sso dump (ssoimp.cmd)
    Import sec dump (secimp.cmd)
    Import Database dump (imp)
    Import App dump (appimp.cmd)
    Import cont area dump (contimp.cmd)
    But during the very first time and very first step ,when i started the SSO dump import ,it says the following .
    "Note:Import user have to login to login server by entering his/her password and must rename his/her password".
    Of course the sso import also failed.
    For,your info,i didn't create any user for import.System automatically created 'Portal30_SSO' user ,with it's default password during installation itself.
    I also tried chaning the password for portal30_sso.But all in vein.
    So can anybody guide me in this import issue ? Or else is there any other work around for bringing the application developed in development server to prod server( is there any way like taking a datafile backup and replacing it in PROD server to reflect the same changes ?) or what procedure do you follow to transport the developed application into Production server in your Organization.

  • Trouble using LogonTicket for SSO to ECC System

    Hi,
    I am trying to connect to an ECC System from my portal. I created a system object and filled all relevant fields. When I run the Connection Tests the Connection Test for Connectors fails with
    "Connection failed. Make sure that Single Sign-On is configured correctly"
    I have imported the portal certificate into my backend system. But I still think that there is something wrong with the PSE on my ABAP side...
    When I run the transaction SSO2 it says that the "The Digital Signature for This Certificate Cannot Be Verified" and that there are no entries in the certificate list.
    When I open STRUSTSSO2 the certificate appears in the Certificate List and in the ACL as it should be...
    Any help solving this issue would be appreciated...

  • How do I leverage a custom theme for Outlook 2013?

    Microsoft has a problem. They use the term "theme" in Office in 2 different ways: 1) the 3 background colors you can choose of the Office applications and 2) a collection of colors, fonts, and layout that can be customized and defined by the user
    for the applications.
    I know how to create a theme in PowerPoint and save it as a default for all new presentations. Allegedly you can you this across Office applications but this is where it breaks down (as far as my user experience goes).
    I've created a theme in PowerPoint. It has my custom colors. I want to use that same collection in Outlook.
    I can apply it on a email by email basis (Options menu for an email), but I want the default email (new or reply) to use that custom theme. I see my theme in the drop down menu under a heading of Custom, but there isn't a way to set it as default
    (behavior differs from PowerPoint here).
    So I look under the Outlook File menu, then Options and select Mail. You can change stationary, but the custom theme isn't an option there.
    Then there is Styles under the Format Text menu when in a new email. There are color options and font options, but again, no way to leverage the work I did in creating the custom theme.
    Searching on customizing themes for Outlook only gets me answers on the first use of the word theme, not the latter.
    Is there no way to you the theme I created for Outlook 2013?

    - it would never happen. So why is thee trade getup and arrangement changing so often and against what their customers want? Is it to justify thee new products? Maybe with cloud and 365, they will finally be happy and stop mucking about with what works (after
    they change everything back to '95 /XP format?).

    Your question is not clear for me. Since it is a TEM infotype, it could be a PD infotype.
    If you wish to create a PD infotype, use transaction PPCI to create the infotype.
    But before that you need to create a structure HRInnnn (where nnnn is the infotype number) with all the fields relevant for the infotype.
    If you wish to create a PA infotype, use transaction PM01 to create the infotype.
    But before that you may be required to create a strcuture PSnnnn  (where nnnn is the infotype number) with all the fields relevant for the infotype.

    Then I create a cube with use compression off, and in rules sum for example.
    After, I create a measure and I select Override the aggregation specification for the cube, in rules I put nonadditive and I would like to create aprogram to assign distinct values to each level of the dimension. For example, I put 1, 2 3, and 4 values, but at the end I would like to put count(distinct(values)).

    I would like to create a custom dock for everyone that uses a certain Mac. I have found a bunch of stuff, but it is outdated. Most of the tutorials are for 10.4 or 10.5. I am using 10.7.4 and I have found nothing regarding that. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

  • How can I create a custom button for opening a form?

    I have a parent form having child forms. In my main form I want to create custom buttons for opening child forms. I want to use master-detail form but there are more than one child forms, and in master-detail form I can only create one detail form. So I will create a form based on a table and in that form I will call the child forms by custom buttons. Can I do that?

    This can be easily done. First open up two instances of your Portal. In one window, you will need to go into your component you wish to link FROM. In the other window you will need to go into your component you wish to link TO. In the component you wish to link TO there will be a moduleid. Note this somewhere. Then, you will see an area that says: "Call Interface: Show". Click on this. (In the window you are linking to.). In this window, you will see a bunch of stuff. At the bottom you will see a URL call. This is the call you need to use. At the top, it explains each piece of the URL call. Just subsitute YOUR appropriate information into the URL call. In the form you wish to link FROM, create a button. Once you create this button, it will appear at the bottom, click on it and you will see an area to insert a Javascript. Click the onClick and insert:
    //this is the variable you want to pass from one form to the other

  • How to select data from an aggregate in a customer exit for a query?

    Hi,
    I have written a virtual key figure customer exit for a query. Earlier the selection was from the cube, where there was severe performance issue. So I have created an aggregate, activated and have loaded the data.
    Now when I select that data I find that the Key table is different in development and production. How do I resolve this.
    My code is attached below. The table in developemnt is KEY_100027 and in production is KEY_100004. This code is activated and running in BW development server.

    How do I transport the code and make it work?
    Whats the reason that the two key fields are different.
    I had transported the aggregate from development to production. Activated it and filled the data.

    Hi Sonu,
    The main task is to move the contents of the one internal table to another with some condition.
    First sort and delete the duplicate entries from the First Internal table like below : 
    sort it_tab by material ascending date_modified descending.
    delete adjacent duplicates from it_tab.
    Then move that Internal table contents to another internal table.
    Define another internal table with the same structure as you have first internal table and then
    Second Step :
    it_itab1 = it_itab.
    If you are using seperate Header line and Body then you can do like below :
           it_itab1[] = it_itab[].
    This will fix the issue.

  • How to format data for a custom group

    Hi all
    I have a pivot table with Actual and Budget as columns and some accounts in the rows. Since I'm using the account hierarchical column, I created custom groups for the accounts using the Selection steps pane. For example, I created a new group called Profit to combine 3 different Profit accounts and display one Profit line.
    Now I want to format the data for the Profit group. I right-click on the Profit group, choose to edit the group and click on the Format button on the bottom left corner. I add some formatting, e.g. borders. When I now view the pivot table, borders have been applied to the label of the group - so the word Profit is now bordered. However, the values in the Actual and Budget columns do not have a border. Don't know what I'm missing, but I want both the group label and the values to be formatted the same way.
    How can I apply formatting to the data/values for the custom group?

    Yeah tried that already, it formats the entire column whereas I need just the values for the Profit row to be formatted. Seems it is a limitation only when using custom groups?

But I want a wizard to help the user / end user successfully enter all the required values for all child views, it will help  the user to navigate  from the start view to all the child views where the fields of the wizard will be associated to the child maintenance views.
    Please suggest how to create wizard for view cluster.

    Hello Pasapula
    When you are in the View Cluster maintenance dialog (SE54) click on dialog "Events".
    Below the field for the view cluster you have an additional field <b>FORM routines main program</b>. There you have to add the main program containing the FORM routines called by the VC events.
    For example: I had defined a normal report containing an include with all the FORM routines. The report contains only the following lines of coding:
    report zus_0120_u1.
    * Common Data und access routines for user exits in VC maintenance
    include LSVCMCOD.
    include  zus_0120_f1. "FORM routines for VC events
    Now in the "Events" dialog of the view cluster maintenance you assign your FORM routines to the events.

    The numbers in the RGB and other fields change as various numbers are changed.
    I wanted to create a pale orange:
    Hue               13      Red      255
    Saturation   240      Green  177
    Luminosity    86       Blue     140
    I'd selected one of the orange squares in the color grid, to display the general orange area of the slider.
    I moved the slider to select a pale orange, which generated the above numbers.   Since this wasn't directly available to save to a Custom Color, I tried to  edit the numbers.  Unfortunately, the other numbers changed, making it impossible to actually create a color.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Note:  I used Techsmith's Snagit to show screen shots in a Word document.
    When I attempted to browse and upload the file, the error message said "[The content type of this image is not allowed.]"
    OK...what images *are* allowed?
