How to Customized View of StyledEditorKit

I am facing problem in making customized StyledEditKit for JTextPane that looks like TreeView as in the Visual Studio .NET. But i didnt fine any tutorial on it. I read also its internal working but wasnt able to understand how to...
Please anybody help me do this. I really need to do this as early as possible

I was impressed by VS.NET editor with that facility a few month ago.
You have a same idea like me. Glad to meet.
IJTextpane model can have html model, rtf model, and so on..
Anyway we need simple model.
Section
+ Paragraph
+ run (java keyword, or variable name ....) - have different color

+ ParagraphView (paragraph in model)
+ Row View
+ Label View
+ Label View

But to explain simple. Suppose that paragraphView have only one row. (doesn't line wrap)
So we have to implement ParagraphView , inner Row View for only one line.
In text model, + (in VS editor) is not exist. So first add annoymouse (+, or -) Label view in Row if Paragraph is function, block, or class. ( extends ParagraphView, also nested class Row Class)
To hide next paragraph.
Insert some model attribute using extending StyleConstants class(like ExtenedStyleConstant.Visible)
and set that attribute in paragraph.
In your ParagraphView constructor, check that attribute, and make setVisible method and set to false(View class have isVisible method always returns true.) override isVisible method to return that attribute.
But getPreferredSpan, getMinimumSpan, getMaximumSpan methods will ignore visible property. Override!
If you see gap between in paragraph views. reimplment BoxView use child view visabilty propety. and make ExtendedParagraphView from that.
And + Label view have to check mouse event. If clicked, toogle next paragraph attribute after finding inner block, or method, class.

how can i view and apply new custom patterns without going to preset manager? i had this facility but have now lost it. i design patterns but am fairly new to photoshop. i used to be able to click on the drop down menu in patterns in the 'fill' box but cannot now do this. have i inadvertently clicked on something to turn this facility off? i now have to go to 'preset manager' and manually move my new design to the first box and click 'done' so that i can use it.

Which version of photoshop are you using?
After you define a custom pattern it should be added to the bottom of whatever patterns are already loaded.
For example, if you define a custom pattern and then go to Edit>Fill>Pattern, the newly defined pattern should have been added to the existing loaded patterns.

I did eventually release the console extension (see screen shot at the bottom of the page
here).
It has been a while since I worked on this code but as I remember, once I got the references straightened out (see this thread), a lot of the confusion I had was just understanding that some of the programming that had to be done was in WPF (not WinForm).
The sample code from Microsoft does work though.
I never was able to figure out how to tie the "tree node menu item" functionality into the Ribbon (at the top of the SCCM console) so that is still on my TODO list.
So, my advice to you is to start with the Microsoft example code (which I did) from the SCCM SDK and if you get compile time errors, look first for the SCCM assembly references (Microsoft.[ConfigurationManagement, ConfigurationManagement.ManagementProvider,
EnterpriseManagement.UI.Foundation, EnterpriseManagement.UI.WpfViews) and then at the WPF assembly references (PresentationCore, PresentationFramework) for missing class references.

How to redirect to a custom view in 10g

Hi All,
Getting a bit of a headache on this one. I am migrating from 5.7 to 10g and in the project some emails are generated with a link to a custom view. Also I have a submit button in a jsp that redirects to a view. This was easy then (/servlet/controller?viewName=myview&from=1 or similar) but a bit more involved now I guess.
I had a look at WAPI and can see how to run an activity in an instance, or indeed an application but cant figure out how to display my view.
Any ideas ?

Any thoughts would help on this one.
Effectively I want a url, or wapi call that takes the user directly to the workspace, with work items at a particular view (not inbox). Defaulting everyone to that view isnt a goer and neither is launching an activity.
I guess it is possible as the workspace does it when clicking the view dropdown.

1) I have a requirement to Embed a custom view in the component CRMCMP_BPIDENT. In the place of IBASE component, my custom view needs to be loaded.
2) Also the result view will be a custom view. which should display list of customers.
3) Once I select the line in the result list, it should take me to the BP_DETAIL Window.

if the whole purpose is hiding the checkbox, then you should use JSLink property of the view, instead of creating a new layout page...
The following javascript will hide the checkbox column.

Just add the script in js file, deploy in layout folder. Then edit the view page, and refer the js file in JSLink.

10.6.6 - How to set custom view options for specific folders

How is it that Windows has had the ability to ability to set custom folder view options forever and OSX can't. What is the big deal? Just do it. Whenever I set the folder view options it changes the view for all the folders. I can do folder specific changes as long as the finder window is open then I close it and open it again every folder is the same again. It's just an annoyance and it's something so rudimentary it's embarrassing.

Try the following:
I want to have, say, one folder in list view
Open that folder, set it to list view, type command-J, and in the view-options window that opens, check the box at the top for "Always open in list view".
then the subfolder of that folder I want to have in cover flow view. permanently.
Open that folder, change it to cover-flow view, and in the view-options window check the box at the top for "Always open in cover-flow."
Those two folders should "remember" the custom views that were set for them.

My own take is that folders that have not been customized by checking the "Always open in xxx view" box will by default open in the same view (icon vs list vs column, etc) that was in effect for the previously opened folder. *Within each view*, you can set the default parameters (text size, etc) for a new folder by setting up a folder the way you like and then checking the view options box for "Use as defaults" at the bottom.

How to add Custom View to GP Runtime Views

Hi All,
I would like to add custom view to my GP process.
In GP runtime mode the numbers you see on left hand side like "run103" "run002" are confusing to users. I would like to have appropriate name/description instead.
I understand that I can add Custom view to Runtime Views, but when I am editing a process "Add Custom View" button is always disabled.
Why that button is always disabled?
How do I define Custom View for a process?

How to Import Custom Views and JSPs to ALBPM Enterprise

Hi,
I am using ALBPM 5.7. I have developed a custom view in Studio. When I publish and Deploy the Project in ALBPM Enterprise (WebLogic 9.2), I check true the Import Custom JSPs and Views (or similar terminology). But when I login to the portal after installing the EAR, the view is not listed in my work pane.
Also, in one of the Interactive Activity I am calling a JSP, which gives a Null Pointer Exception when execute the instance, In my opinion, the Custom JSP is not deployed.
I have also copied the JSP file in location \bea\ALPBM5.7\j2eewl\webapps\portal\customjsp\
Please suggest as how do I deploy the View and JSP

I have created a custom view in InfoPath Designer 2013 based on a SharePoint online - custom list.
Right now the custom view is available for all users in the "View:" dropdown under the "PAGE DESIGN" tab in InfoPath.
I would like to make this view available only to a set of users. (i.e., users of a SharePoint group / Security group).
Please let me know how I can do this..

We can use check the current user permission using REST API in SharePoint 2013, then hide the dropdown the "View" base on the permission.

How does one clear Custom Views (Administrative Events) in the Event Viewer?

I am trying to find how one can determine the order that the issues (folios) will appear in a custom viewer (multi-folio with subscriptions).
I tried to rearrange the order by changing the publication date in the Folio Producer Oorganizer, but it has no effect in the iPad custom viewer.

The publication date settings determine the order of the folios in the library, so that should work. Did you update the folios?

Custom view won't be shared when you share your Contacts or Journals. You'll need to copy the views you want to share to a pst-file and then share the pst file to others.

Do you mean, modifying the ViewObject from the Applications Navigator using the Edit Mode of JDeveloper on that ViewObject?

Directly modifying the Extended ViewObject Implementation class file in System Navigator?
If you edit your ViewObject class file and if you set the ViewObject to extend it from a Customized View Object Impl, unfortunately the model project of Jdev do not recognize it, becoz certain changes are required in xml (viewobject's definition file).
So, better extend the class from the customized impl in Edit mode of that ViewObject.

Based on the above requirement, You want to create a Dashboard view with Specific alerts but not all right ?
Based on my understanding on your above requirement i created one in my SCOM. Please let me know if this is what you really wanted ?
For the below you really need to know what are those alerts, ONLY those alerts you want to be displayed in the dashboard.
Then Go to the Monitoring tab in SCOM and then Right click Active alerts and select New -> Select New Alert view
When you select new alert view you will need to specify the Resolution state and the Specific alerts you want.
In the below example i have selected "MSExchange Active sync Alert" as a example. So my goal is here such that only the alerts i have specified from my selection ( "MSExchange Active sync Alert") if it appears in New state will appear
in this view not all other alerts.
So for that i just used the below options:
Resolution state & Alert name
Resolution state = New
Alert name = %MSExchange XXXXXXXX%
Also as of i see there was no option for entering multiple alert names. But i think there is and i am still trying as it accepts some SQL Wild cards. So if any one has an idea what is the wild card what is to be used to mention multiple names in that Name
