How to delete a table at dictionary level

Hi All,
i have deleted custom table zaccount from database, usin se14 transaction.
now i want to create a new table using same name zaccount, but it is showing me error that table already exists in data dictionary. now i am trying to delete from data dictionary also, but it is giving me error that table is refrenced at multiple levels
guys how can i forcefully delete it from datadictionary.

Your table was active and had data right and also it was referred at various places in different contexts.
okay now please type the table name in SE11; can you see if yes fine you caught the problem display the table do not delete directly; click on where used list to generate a list of different places where the table has been referred.
at all those points remove the references as per the context and do not forget to activate. so once you have done that and the where used list returns no result means all references moved then again delete the table.
You won't have any more issues with the table
this problem happens because of the active name tab of the table that is yet present but inconsistent as the changes to the dictionary definition have been made inconsistent by your earlier efforts.

ADF Desktop Integration : How to delete the table in Excel?

I am using Jdev 11.1.1.3.0 and Excel 2007 for Oracle ADF DI, I had created an ADF table using pageDef file in the excel. Now I wanted to delete that table and use a different pageDef file.
I could not find a way to delete that table.
I deleted full row of tables and then I used different pageDef file and created a new adf table. But when I am running this version of excel, I am getting runtime exception and excel is getting corrupted.
My question how to delete the table not corrupting the Excel.

Welcome to OTN.
You can delete the table by selecting the top left column (of the table) and then select delete from the ADFdi tab.

Hi Kumar,
You need to use Error Table along with the Data Rule .
Error tables are used with Logical error handlers (Data Rules). Detailed description on using data rules is explained in the following document

In a nut shell usage of error tables is as follows.
1. Create a data rule associate it with a table (Target table or table in which you load data).
2. Use the table in a mapping as target table.
3. Deploy the table and mapping.
Now in the target schema one more table will be created with the name <target table name>_ERR. When a mapping is executed the data which violates the data rule gets into this error table.
The following has to be done to have error table name of customers choice.
1. Right click on the table and click configure.
2. Give the table name in "shadow table name" section.
3. Deploy the table.
4. Use this table in a mapping. Now in the mapping on this table properties in "Error Table Name" section the name of the table specified in "shadow table name" will be populated.

How to delete a table of contents?

It sounds like a stupid question, but I cannot delete my table of contents again? I only used the TOC in the draft, but don't need it in the final version of my document anymore. But - it sounds stupid - I cannot delete it. I marked it and hit the delete key, the back key. No more idea of how to delete the TOC. I even found no hint in the manual.

Double-click the TOC so that it is surrounded by a dark border, then hit the 'delete' key.

JDBC Adapter Sender How to delete 3 tables?

Hi all, I need to delete records of 3 tables after the Communication Channel send the information.
The problem is I want to put the 3 sentences in the Update SQL Statement separated with ";" but it does not work.
This is my statement
DELETE from table1 WHERE field1='3';DELETE from table2 WHERE field1='3';DELETE from table3 WHERE field1='3';
This is the error in the Runtime Workbench.

How to DELETE condition tables in IDES

while practicing in IDES I have created tables in the range 501-999. I have no tables to create now. Can any one tell me how to delete the existing condition table. when I tried deleting its giving error: TABLE 911 IS REFERENCED FOR ACCESS SEQUENCE.

The best solution is to do as below.
TCODE: SE11
Database Table : T682I --> choose DISPLAY
CTRLSHIFTF10
Input 911 in KOTABNR
Execute / F8
you will get the access sequences which use the condition table 911.
go to v/07 of the access sequence obtained from the previous operation and
delete the access which use condition table 911.
Then you will be able to DELETE 911 condition table of your own.
Please check and revert back.

How to delete a PO at header level - Restrict to a specific order type

Hi,
Deletetion of PO at header level is not recomended but still in my project they are using it to delete a particular PO type and should not allow to delete the other PO types. Recently Support Pack upgrade was done. After this activity deletion is not happening. Hope the relevent code got over writed with the original.
Here creation and change of PO will be done from a third party system through IDOC. Deletion of PO at header level should be possible only through IDOC.
Can some one give me the idea where(BAdI/Enhancement) we need to write the code to allow the deletion of PO of a particular type?

Hope you are referring to "setting of deletion indicator at header level of PO" (EKKO-LOEKZ = 'L'). Standard method CL_PO_HEADER_HANDLE_MM->PO_CANCEL may be helpful (you may have to integrate this with IDOC processing function module). You can use rules and include them in the rule set, lets say you dont want LCR to be queued for table_1 in schema SALES, write two rules one for DDL and another for DML with NOT logical condition.

Unfortunately a script created lots of tables in the wrong Tablespace (=SYSTEM) and Schema (=SYS).
How can I delete (in one DDL command) all TABLES which are created inTablespace=SYSTEM and SCHEMA=SYS
during the last 3 hours resp. since 09:15 of 25th Sep 2011 ?
Alternatively: How can I move these TABLEs to another Schema (e.g. ATEST) and Tablespace (USERS)?
Is this possible with Oracle XE or only with Oracle Enterprise?

How to delete the Table Contents before inserting records into SQL table ?

Hello Experts,
I have a scenario where in I have to Pick up some records from SAP RFC & insert into SQL table.
i know how to do this scenario but the proble with this is before inserting we first have to ZAP the SQL table & insert a new records. One more twist is The Triggering is happening from SAP side with Sender RFC. If this would have been from SQL Side i could have written a Stored Procedure/ Trigger & could have called this before the SENDER JDBC communciation channel picks up the Triggering event from SQL side.
So how to do this scenarioin XI, First deleting all the Records of SQL table & then inserting the new reocrds. without using the BPM.

How to delete a table in spite of a Reference...

i have a little Problem...
I made two tables:
CREATE TABLE one(
NR INTEGER,
xyz INTEGER REFERENCES two(abc),
PRIMARY KEY (NR)
CREATE TABLE two(
abc INTEGER,
jhg CHAR(3),
PRIMARY KEY (abc)
Now i want to delete table two:
DROP TABLE two;
But then there comes the following error message(in German):
DROP TABLE two
FEHLER in Zeile 1:
ORA-02449: Eindeutige und Primärschlüssel in Tabelle von Fremdschlüsseln referenziert
It is because a Primary Key in table references to a Foreign Key...
How can i drop the database?

How to implement fact tables with finest level of detail (fine-grained)?

Maybe this is basic knowledge what I'm asking here... I don't know, well, here it goes:
I need to know the way carry my transactional data to a fact table, but keeping the finest level of detail possible (namely, the transactions). I implemented my cubes with MOLAP option for storage (those were the specs that I had to follow) so I can't add a unique constraint to those structures.
I only seem to be able to load aggregated, precomputed data. If I wanted to load the transactions (after the data has been transformed and clenased) where should I do it?
I tried to implement a version of the fact tables as ROLAP but got nowhere (I couldn't add a unique constraint or index on that column either).
I would really, really appreciate your help.

Let me explain the problem in more detail. I have one Date dimension(Date_Code,Month_Code,Quarter_Code,Half_Year_Code,Year_Code). Here Date_Code is the PK.
In F1---->Date (Using Month_Code key)
F2-------->Date (Using Date_Code Key)
Level based hierarchy is there starting from Year to Date.Each level has PK defined and chronological key selected.
F1 has level set to Month and F2 has level set to Day.
Now if i am using ago() function on measure of F2 (having day level data) then it's working fine but if i am using ago() function on measure of F1...I am getting an error at Presentation service: Date_code must be projected for time-series functions.
So the whole issue is with time-series functions. As per my research...I think for time series the tables in the physical model containing the time dimension cannot join to other data sources, except at the most detailed level but here i am joining with F1(using Month_Code which is not the most detailed level).
So kindly let me know how to achieve this in rpd?
