How to delete application when its deployment state is failed or running or released ?

Hi All
How do we in WLST delete an application when it is in failed deployment state ?
An example would be good.
App1 is not shown in AdminServer deployment tab screen but somehow WLS still thinks it exists.
We like to remove any application when its deployment state isn't completed.
Any help is appreciated

Is is always possible the that space (clusters) on the hard drive have been used to store other data and in such a case you can't recover the original content of the file.
If you encounter such freeze issues regularly then best is to choose the "Show my windows and tabs from last time" startup setting.
You an try to create a new profile as a test to check if Session Restore work better in the new profile.

I think this will help if you are using version 11 or 12.
Make a selection with a selection tool of the area you want to remove.
Example: rectangular marquee tool - make a rectangle.
Use Select>Refine Edge:
Use the View section of this dialog box to see a few views.
If you need to refine the edge of the selection (smooth, feather, shift, etc.) you can do that in this dialog box.
You may want to check the box about remembering your settings in case you need to come back to them.
In the Output section, you can pick New Layer with Layer Mask and click OK.
You should see the hole in your image.

deleted everything under HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\SYSTEM (folders 0000 to 0004)

It is a black X.
If the application that you want to delete is an app of the iOS it will not have a black X and you cannot delete it.
If it is a downloaded app that you want to delete and there is no black X, then you have to check under Settings/General/Restrictions of there are restrtictions set that disables uninstall.

How to delete application deployed in Run Application Only mode?

I have exported/imported an application (Run Application Only mode) from one DB instance to another.
As a developer, I cannot see the application in Application Builder in the target instance. This is as intended because changes should only be made on the source (development) instance.
After testing, there may be errors to correct. The application is not going to be a new version, it is going to be corrected on the source instance. Without creating a new version of the application on the source instance, what steps does the HTML DB admin take on the target instance to delete the application so the application can be imported again?

Thank you Scott. I missed the help text to the side of the install page that explained how an existing application is deleted and replaced.
The tool provided the prompt page, Confirm Replace Application, before proceeding with the install.

How to delete photos when iphoto9 doesn't respond to move to trash command?

The command "move to trash" works on some photos and events and not others.Currently have about 27,000 images in about 600 events. MacBook Pro runs Snow Leopard ver 10.6.8 and iphoto 9. I hit option & command keys when opening up iphoto and checked off rebuild library. This did not solve the problem. Thought it was not enough RAM and lack of hard disk space. Recently doubled RAM to 4 GB and increased HD from 200 GB to 750 GB. Still have the problem. Tried to rebuild library again after the upgrades but to no avail. Tried to delete event through the finder by opening up package contents in pictures and accessing data and noindex data and then deleing the images in the particular event. The images were deleted but the event (now without pictures) remains in iphoto; the event cannot be deleted. Folks at Apple Store are perplexed. Apple consultant ran out of ideas. They thought that it might be a defective spot on HD but when the HD was replaced, the problem remained. Has anyone experienced this problem? How can this be solved? Thanks,

You've trashed your Library.
1. Before you changed the Hard Disk, how much free space did you have on your Mac? Running iPhoto on an overcrowded disk can cause database corruption - which would account for the symptoms you are seeing.

Tried to delete event through the finder
Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things,, deleting them or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.
And even at that: you did it worng
and accessing data and noindex data and then deleing the images in the particular event.
That's trashing the thumbnails, not the photos. So the pics are there, as is the entry in the database but you've removed any way for iPhoto to show or mange them.
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I have an issue in SAP e-Recruitment 6.0 EhP4 BSP.
Recruiter entered an application for an internal candidate by mistake and rejected him.
Now the candidate sees from candidate page - Applications that his application was rejected, complaining that he had never applied to this posting (which is true) and does not want to have it in his application history.
We advised the candidate to withdraw the application but the error "The application cannot be withdrawn" appears and he could not withdraw or delete the application.
Is there a way to completely delete application or at least to withdraw it?

Yes, of course. You can delete objects ND and NE for that candidate.
Use transaction RE_RHRHDL00.
Make sure you delete all the relevant infotypes.

somebody delete the PO item after it finished GR and IV actions, and SAP did not show any warning or error message, but this is not allowed in my company, how can I prevent the occurrence of these things ? and how can I set the system to make it show message when somebody delete PO in same condition?

- restrict it via authorization. Dont give the user authorization for deletion activity.
- restrict it with a check in an userexit
- ask the user why he does such things ... maybe he has a reason that was not discussed during the design.
but think about data archiving. a deletion indicator is precondition for an archiving run.
The first step of archiving purchasing documents is to set this deletion indicator.
If you develope the userexit, then think about this, otherwise you will never be able to archive purchasing documents.

thank you!!! I hate Nokia's software. When you open an image from the file manager or a MMS, it opens in the image editor, which you can zoom with the * and # keys. When you open from the gallery, this shortcut completely changed. Then, if you open the image in the editor, the zoom keys are 0 and 5 like on the gallery in the e71.
Not only are these shortcuts inconsistant, but they fail to document them 90% of the time. I would have never thought to use the volume keys.
I dislike the gallery on this phone. It's dumb that ''images'' also shows videos. It's dumb that images open don't open up in the same image editor they do when you open from gallery/sms. Its also dumb that videos don't open in real player through the gallery. I much preferred the more simple gallery on the e71.

I don't believe you can delete apps from Launchpad. You can remove the app via the Application folder in Finder or you could also use an app that helps remove all traces of an App, such as AppZapper or AppDelete.
