How to delete the row from the ADF table using popup box

Hi,
I have one requirement like need to delete a record from the table, but that time need to show one popup window for confirmation of the deletion. I am using Delete buttom from the vo operations. I am able to delete the row with out popup but when i used the popup that time deletion is not happening.
Can any one help me in this.

add a transient attribute to the POJO entity and update this through a check box. The ensure you have autosubmit=true set on the check box. In a value change listener set or remove the row's checbox attribute value

Hi,
best practices when deleting multiple rows is to do this on the business service, not the view layer for performance reasons. When you selected the rows to delete and press submit, then in a managed bean you access thetable instance (put a reference to a managed bean from the table "binding" property") and call getSeletedRowKeys. In JDeveloper 11g, ADF Faces returns the RowKeySet as a Set of List, where each list conatins the server side row key (e.g. oracle.jbo.Key) if you use ADF BC. Then you create a List (ArrayList) with this keys in it and call a method exposed on the business service (through a method activity in ADF) and pass the list as an argument. On the server side you then access the View Object that holds the data and find the row to delte by the keys in the list

If u want to delete single row, then set the property of TableView - selectionMode="SINGLESELECT". Select the radio button and click on delete button. In the main program, you can get the row value like...

I need to show the contents of a table that changes frequently (inserts, updates and deletes) at ORDBMS 10g in my BAM dashboard.
What i have done is:
- Create two different queue tables, queues.
- Create two triggers: one for "AFTER insert or UPDATE" and the other for "BEFORE DELETE".
- Create two EMS, one configured to Upsert operations and the other to Delete.
- The Upsert EMS works, but the Delete EMS does not.
- Both EMS Metrics say that they work fine and commit the messages i send to the ADC.
- Testing showed records are populated and updated in the ADC but never deleted.
There is a detailed user case for "Creating an EMS Against Oracle Streams AQ JMS Provider" in the Fusion Midleware Developer's Guide for SOA Suite, but it deals only with Upserts. I am using the last versions of SOA suite and Weblogic. The official support has no information either.
I hope writing a web service client isn't the only way to delete a row from a data object. Am i missing something? Any help will be much appreciated.

I needed to temporally remove rows of a ADF table when execute action event of corresponding page.
So in this case my task can describe by following steps,
(1). I created a ADF table using <af:table> on a jsf page.
(2). The data populated using a VO.
(3). Several radio buttons added to the page for temporally remove rows from the table.
This means one radio button check, it responsible to temporally remove rows which contain empty cell values of a identified column.
If I check another radio button it should temporally remove identified data included rows but above removed (empty cell included rows) rows should appear in this event
My ultimate target is temporally remove rows of a table & re call again removed rows another event without again & again query from BC.
Pleas advice me to archive this task very sealy?
(Are there have a way to do this using EL or coding in Manage bean ?)

Hi,
the DCIterator gives you an option to iterate over the fetched rows (the ones you see in the table). You can try call removeAndRetain() on these rows. This will not remove or delete rows but allows you to insert these rows back to the collection.
JavaDocs:
* Removes the row from the collection and then retain it for insertion
* into another location.

* This method differs from <code>{@link #remove()}</code> in that
* it just removes the row from the collection. It does not
* remove the underlying Entity row(s) or database row(s).

Deleting a row from a UIData table

I am trying to select a row from a jsf table then call a backing bean method to delete it using this backing bean method.

A decent IDE ships with a code debugger which allows you tracking variables and running code step by step. If you don't use an IDE or you're unable to use it, then just add some sysouts which prints the desired variables at strategic locations and/or moments.

Deleting multiple rows from SUD dialog table

Hi,
I have some SUD dialog tables that I would like to delete some rows from. I can select and delete all or one row (using a SUD button that finds out which one row was selected or if all, and then deleting them with the table.rows.remove command), but I seem to have troubles if I want to select multiple rows (either in a range, ex: rows 3-10, or non-sequential, ex: 1, 4, 6 and 23). I just started working on this but thought maybe someone has already done this and can save me the trouble!

Just a quick guess-- try looping backwards and deleting the last rows first:
FOR i = 10 TO 3 Step -1
table.rows.remove i
NEXT

How to delete zero rows from a matrix?

Hi,
I have a 2D datamatrix and there are some zero rows. My original program should recognize all zero rows and delete them. How to do that?
I have tried with the Delete From Array function but no success. I also tried with the OpenG array functions but...no.
I attached a vi which simulates my problem. There is one zero row and I want to delete it and have a matrix without zero rows.

Since "delete from array" rearranges the array indices with each deletion, the code will break if there is more than one row to be deleted. For example if a row is already deleted and it needs to also delete the last row, it would try to delete a row that no longer exists. If a later row still exists, it will delete the wrong row.
Also, since NaN gets coerced to a valid index (2147483647), it's probably not such a good idea. "-1" would be a better choice. (Well, it's an unlikely implossible possibility in LabVIEW 32 bit, but still....)
I also don't understand your logic with "search array". You need to test all elements for zero.

How to delete a row from a SQL Server CE Table with multiple JOINs?

I want to delete a record from a SQL Server CE table.
There are 3 tables scripts, options and results. I would like to remove a record from the results table. The where clause contains dynamic information which retrieved via other queries to different tables in the same database. These queries work fine and deliver
the desired data.
The Compact server is a clone of a remote table created using the sync framework. The same query to the remote table works fine.
The error I get is:
There was an error parsing the query. [ Token line number = 1,Token line offset = 10,Token in error = from ]
The code that throws the exception is as follows:

The values held in ds1Loc.Tables(0).Rows(0)(1) and lstIndex are

I have tried replacing the "=" with "IN" in the the WHERE clause but this has not worked.
Is it the join that is causing the problem? I can do a select with the same search criteria and joins from the same database.
Also this query works with SQL Server. Is it perhaps that SQL CE does not support the Delete function the same as SQL Server 2008? I have been looking at this for a while now and cannot find the source of the error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In SQL Server Compact, we can use join in FROM clause. The DELETE statement fail may be caused by the FOREIGN KEY constraint.

When you populate your table with a two dimensional array, the table actually creates a DefaultTableModel (which extends AbstractTableModel). The DefaultTableModel has methods which allow you to add/remove row from the data model. Read the DefaultTableModel API for more information.
