How to delete trailing zeros from a quantity field to display in ALV?

Hi there,
i am retrieving the field LGMNG from LIPS table, which is of type QUAN(13). All LGMNG values there are stored as
1,000
20,000
50,000 etc.
But i want my values to be displayed as
1
20
50 etc.
i have tried the " shift v_variable right deleting trailing '0'" but it does not work.
also, if the value of LIPS_LGMNG =  0,000, i need those columns in ALV empty(that is no zeros or comma displayed)
can anyone please help?
Thanks a lot,
Mee

hi,
use this it will solve your problem, just write down this on your Fieldcatalog.
   WA_FIELDCATALOG-FIELDNAME = 'VALUE7'.
   WA_FIELDCATALOG-SELTEXT_L = 'Contribution EE(due)'.
  WA_FIELDCATALOG-DATATYPE = 'INT2'.           " it will remove trailing zero
  WA_FIELDCATALOG-DECIMALS_OUT = 0.
   APPEND WA_FIELDCATALOG TO IT_FIELDCATALOG.
   CLEAR WA_FIELDCATALOG.

    Back up. Take a deep breath.
    Now - what's your problem ?
    Please illustrate with results, and the code (just the class/method; not your entire application) that is causing them.

  • How to remove trailing zeros from a decimal (type) value?

    Hi Everyone,
    I would like to 'drop' some trailing zeros from a decimal value, e.g.: 50.000000, and I am wondering how to go about this?
    The value is definitely of decimal type, and in this instance I know that I want to eliminate exactly six (6) zeros.
    Any help here will be greatly appreciated.
    Kind Regards,
    David

    Try the below:
    This is sort of a display issue, you may do it at Application side, which would be efficient.
    Declare @s Decimal(10,6)='50.0000000'
    Select Cast(@s as decimal(10,0))

  • How to delete trailing zeros after decimal ?

    Hi,
    i want to delete trailing zeros after decimal.

    if it is 22.000 then output will be 22
    if it is 22.010 then output will be 22.01.
    plz let me know hw to do this ?

    DATA:
      lv_decimal TYPE f DECIMALS 3,
      lv_string  TYPE string.
    lv_decimal = '22.010'.
    WRITE lv_decimal TO lv_string.
    SHIFT lv_string RIGHT DELETING TRAILING '0'.
    CONDENSE lv_string NO-GAPS.
    * now no trailing zeros are in the decimal stored in LV_STRING

  • How to delete Trailing zeros in a string array

    I am reading data from RS232 port and storing the values in an array of 16 nos. Then converting the array of numbers into string using 'number to fractional string" function with precession 2  and sending the data string to Table. I am printing this table further for report generation.
    I am unable to remove the trailing zeros as i am defining precession 2 which is not needed for all the numbers in the table.
    Please help me how to remove the trailing zeros after decimal point which is very much necessary for report generation.

    Use format into string in a FOR loop with a format specified of %#f. See attached example (LabVIEW 7.0)

  • How to delete trailing zeros after the decimal point in the ALV sum

    In my alv output, I need to sum up one column, but in the sum result, I don't want to display zeros after the decimal point.
    for example,
    If the sum is 134.00, I only want to display 134 on the alv.
    Does any expert have idea about it?
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi ,
    Use following
    SHIFT variable RIGHT/LEFT DELETING TRAILING '0'.
    For more variations ,
    just write SHIFT and press f4 , it will show you the information you need.

  • How can I get text from a text field and display it in an alert?

    Hello!  I am BRAND NEW to Objective-C and Xcode and iOS, so PLEASE be forgiving of what is going to be a stupid question.  I have a text field.  I want to enter some text, click "return", and see my text in an alert.  It doesn't serve any useful purpose, but this is how I learn.  So far, I am unsuccessful.  Here's my function from my HelloEarthViewController.m file:
    -(IBAction)showInputMessageUITextField *)textField
    if ([textField.text isEqualToString:@""])
        return;
    UIAlertView *helloEarthInputAlert = [[UIAlertView alloc]
                                         initWithTitle:@"Name!" message:[NSString stringWithFormat:@"Message: %@", textField.text]
                                         delegate:nil cancelButtonTitle:@"OK" otherButtonTitles:nil];
    // Display this message.
    [helloEarthInputAlert show];
    Then I go option+click the text field and drag it to File's Owner and connect it to "showInputMessage:"  Then I run it and the build succeeds, but nothing happens when I click my "return" button on the iPhone simulator.
    What have I missed?  Where have I gone wrong?

    Okay, here's where I am.  I have this in my view controller .h file:
    @interface HelloEarthViewController : UIViewController <UITextFieldDelegate>
        IBOutlet UITextField *textFieldTest;
    @end
    And this in my view controller .m file:
    -(IBAction)showInputMessage
        if ([textFieldTest.text isEqualToString:@""])
            return;
        UIAlertView *helloEarthInputAlert = [[UIAlertView alloc]
                                             initWithTitle:@"Name!" message:[NSString stringWithFormat:@"Message: %@", textFieldTest.text]
                                             delegate:nil cancelButtonTitle:@"OK" otherButtonTitles:nil];
        // Display this message.
        [helloEarthInputAlert show];
    And I have connected the text field to showInputMessage.  When I hit "return", however, I still get nothing.
    Is an "action button" a real button?  From my limited understanding, the alert should launch when I click "return" since showInputMessage is attached to Editing Did End on the text field.
    Thanks for the help.  The transition from writing C# for web applications to writing Objective-C for iOS applications is not going as smoothly as I'd anticipated.

  • How to Delete the dimension from the cube ?

    Hi ,
    how to Delete the dimension from the cube ?
    i have added the new dimension by assiging one characteristic to that dimension .
    now i  want to delete it ,
    but system saying that   Dimension ZXXX  contains InfoObjects; deletion not possible .
    how to delete it ? any help .
    Thanks

    Make sure you donot have any data in cube. If you have some data in cube, then you will not be able to see Delete option.
    Right click on the cube-->Delete data.
    Then double click on the cube>Goto Edit mode> select the IO under that Dimension> right click> now you will be able to see the Delete option (provided you have deleted all the date from Cube)
    Then right click on Dimension-->Delete

    What is the GarageBand version that your friend is using?
    If it is GarageBand '11, version 6.0.5, you can buy GarageBand '11 as a boxed retail version with the iLIfe '11 bundle, e.g. from Amazon.
    Then you can upgrade GarageBand '11 to 6.0.5, using this upgrader from the Support page:
                     GarageBand 6.0.5
    GarageBand 6.0.5 will work well with your system.  But if your friend is using the newest GarageBand 10, this will not help. Then ask your friend to send you audio files for each track, so you can recreate the project from the audio.  Or your friend could also use GarageBand '11 for the projects you want to share, that will run well in all newer MacOS X versions, even with GarageBand 10.0 installed on the same system.

    I think just for deleting the jobs you can do this only
    Scheduling Delete Jobs
    To schedule delete jobs, proceed as follows:
           1.      In the Integration Engine -
    > Administration menu, choose Schedule Delete Jobs.
           2.      Select the job(s) to be scheduled.
           3.      Specify the start time and date.
           4.      Specify the period you want to use and choose Schedule.
    For an overview of all jobs, choose Jobs.
