How to determine correct NLS_LANG settings
Hi everyone,
My Database server is RHEL 5.8 32bit with Oracle 11gR2, nls_characterset is AL32UTF8
My client machine is Windows XP SP2 32bit, Chinese Simplified
What should be the correct NLS_LANG settings for my client machine?
When I am not setting the NLS_LANG value, the sqlplus seemed to work, but when I set NLS_LANG=AL32UTF8, the sqlplus gives me below error:
SP2-1503: Unable to initialize Oracle call interface
SP2-0152: ORACLE may not be functioning properly
Pl post your Oracle client version. Pl document how exactly you are setting NLS_LANG on the client.

You need to start with the version that was originally installed.
If you are in the US call Apple Customer Support 1-800-767-2775, provide the Serial Number and specifications of the Mac, and for a reasonable fee, they will supply a replacement set of system discs (if available).
The discs will be for the original version of the OS that was pre-installed when the Mac was manufactured.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I see that you would like to know how to switch the HP Connected account you created to your wife’s email address.
To change the email address associated with the HP Connected account please follow the steps below, making note of any informational messages.
Please log into your HP Connected account with the settings you used to create the account which will take you to the HP Connected Welcome screen.
Please click on ‘Settings’ in the upper right hand corner and choose ‘My Account’.
Please click on the ‘Email’ beside your email address.
Please fill out the fields and then click on the ‘Save Changes’ button.
Please log out of your HP Connected account and then log in using the new credentials.
Please let me know how things turn out.

How to determine browser language settings?
Hi,
i want to create a flash chart diagram in APEX 4.0 with dynamic column names (series name={here the dynamic column header}) depending from the browser language setting. How can i determine the browser language setting in the flash charts sql?
Or is there any other way how i can create dynamic column header for this purpose?

Just wanted to remind you that APEX has a substitution string called BROWSER_LANGUAGE that holds the current browser language. No need to define extra application item and computation.

Also, if working with multi-lingual is a major motive in your application, you should learn how to use the APEX translation mechanism. It will save you the need to define your own language mapping tables and a lot of ‘CASE’ statements. It can be a real time saver. You can start here:

In sending an e-mail, I get an error message that it is placed in the outbox, the e-mail address server has rejected this, how do I reset outgoing mail.?
Relaying is the act of sending an email whose return address is xxx@yyy and using an outgoing email server whose domain is @zzz. Many/most services reject this because many spam mails are sent using relaying (in order to avoid using a valid return address).
Check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional. -
How to determine where Lightroom Settings (Presets) are stored
I have been running LR with a catalog and images that are on an external disc. I have several presets for use in import, develop, export, etc. Everything has been working fine until I recently was playing with the Print module. After doing that, the next (I think) time I opened my catalog, I discovered that all my presets had disappeared. When I examined the folder on the external disc that contains the catalog, presets, etc., I discovered a new folder, "Lightroom Settings". It contained empty folders for Import Presets, Keyword Sets, Filename Presets, etc. -- everything except the folder for Print Presets. This, obviously, is the cause of my missing presets, but why did it happen?
I'd like to know the "algorithm" for LR's storage of presets -- system level, user level, catalog level, whatever. It would seem to me that if it is adding catalog level presets, then it would either copy the existing set of user presets to the catalog or (probably better), not create empty catalog-level preset folders and use the user-level presets where there are none at catalog level. Is there someplace that this process is explained?

Insufficient rights - How to determine the correct rights?
All,
Does anyone know how to determine the correct rights if you get the error message "Insufficient rights for operation"?
In SAP backend systems you can start transaction SU53 to check your "missing" authorizations, but is something like that also possible in MDM?
I also don't see any detailed information in the logs or reports.
If anyone has an good suggestion, please let me know, since I don't want to do "trail and error" to know what Functions to set to Execute and what Tables/Fields to set to Read/Write (because there are quite some combinations to check).
p.s. I've read the complete reference guide of the MDM console and sometimes it's really obvious what Functions and Tables/Fields you have to set, but for instance when I want to give authorization to maintain Relationships in the DataManager and have set the Main table and all Relationships to Read/Write and have set all Records and DataManager functions to Execute it still doesn't allow me to maintain the relationships on the records! I only get the message "insufficient rights" and it's unclear what rights are missing!

I doubt if we have anything in MDM to show you what authorizations are missing.However,you can check the following :
1. What activity are you trying to perform when you get this error.
2. Check if authorization are given in the role for that actitvity.
3. Check how many roles are allocated to user and Is authorization given in all roles if more than 1 role is assigned to that user?
Please let us know answer of the queries...

I have my settings set to "suggest nothing" when I am typing in my search keywords but I still get history and suggestions. How can I correct this? editStart Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Hmmm that's strange TopDiver. Let's get to the bottom of this. Have you checked the notification settings on the device? To verify the notification setting on the device click on menu>settings>sound>notification sound, then test device notifications.

The Apple ID on my iPhone is incorrect when trying to update apps. It is correct in my Settings. I have signed out & signed back on & this does not make any difference. Even if you put a credit or debit card on file with iTunes it will still use your balance FIRST.
I would suggest putting a card on file and testing to see if it will allow you to make a purchase, then removing the card from the account after successful download of an item.

On the email account's settings (Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and tapping on the account on the right), go into it's outgoing SMTP settings and try putting in your email name and password (they might currently show as 'optional')
