this is your requirement: for all your customers dont need to show the navigation toolbar(or) address bar (i.e) dont what show the address

these thing have to be handled inside the adf code.
if am right? means:
adf reendering output just utilizing the browser to display. we cant control that broswer objects.
As far as i know. answer is no. if am understood correclty.

yes, I know the scriptPrefs way - the problem is this is working only if it is in a script file. Application build with .NET or VB6 can use this way but it doesn't work. So the only solution for me is to make small SDK plug-in which is accesable from .NET or VB6 application and realy freeze the page redrawing till it is created - InDesign is getting slower and slower with the growing number of pageitems created in a document. The visible property of pageitem since CS5 help a little but not that much...
Any other suggestion or tricks fpr InDesign performance with a huge amount of page items in es doc?

How to disable auto-restore in Pages (Lion)

I'm sure this has been asked before but the search function can't find the answer.
It's the dreaded auto-restore when Pages is started -- "hey, here's the last document you were working on!!" Grrr! If I wanted it, I'd open it once I invoked the application.
How do you prevent this from happening? I have been to System Preferences:General and removed the check from "Restore windows when quitting" This has no impact on Pages.
I tried looking under $HOME/Library/Saved Application State to see if there was a file there I could tweak to turn off autorestore for Pages but there wasn't.
Thanks for any insight on how to get rid of this stupid "feature."

Select "Close Windows when Quitting and Application" in System Prefrences, General, third panel.

How to disable VO initialization on page render for MessgeChoice *URGENT*

Gurus,
I've got a poplist that is getting initialized when page is being rendered. This is causing quite a bit of lag when the page initially renders. The VO is also being called through an EVENT, at which time, an extra condition is applied. This is the valid way this VO should be called.
How do you avoid the blind query when the page initially renders?
Please help deadline has passed.

P.S. I must assign setWhereClause bind variable in VOImpl because value is being derived by user.

If you don't want to initialize the value of MesssageChoice at page render then when you want to intialize it.
explain & what is the issue if you initialize in PR.

I think this is handled internally in framewok.
Just debug and check if the processFormRequest() is getting called twice or not.

Older version has the option to disable Skype Status and get rid of the Skype icon on Android status bar. But latest 4.4.0.31835 could not disable Skype Status in notifications settings. :/

Please bring back the option to disable the Skype icon on Android status bar. This is the main reason I uninstall Skype. :/

Long click on this notification a sub menu having field "App info" would appear goto App Info. You can goto there by "Manage Apps">"Skype" also.
Uncheck Option "Show Notifications" A dialog will open. Don't worry about notifications for now just click OK. Now the notification icon skype has also been removed.
Now simply check "Show notification again". After doing this you would get notifications but skype icon would not be shown in the status bar anymore.
Issue: this is just a trick you need to repeat this every time sign out and sign in again. Mostly you don't do that so no need to worry.

The problem is as follows.
The default behaviour of Acrobat Reader (both stand alone and browser plug-in) is to allow scrolling/swiping with the mouse wheel/trackpad. This is useful when the pdf's page length is greater than the screen's own length, because you can read the pdf with no need to distract your attention from the text to the scrollbar button. However, the same scroll/swipe function turns into a usability problem when the pdf is embedded in a html page and the pdf's page length is smaller than the browser's length. In this case, the scroll/swipe turns the page, distracting your attention from the text to the unintended behaviour of the browser. What happens is that you are so used to scrolling/swiping that you did it unintentionally in the pdf's caption area. You really did not want to turn pages in the pdf. Furthermore, if the pdf takes the whole html page, being a website, the scroll/swipe function flips the website pages in ways that neither the reader nor the writer had ever intended. Hence the question. How to disable, in this case, the "turn page" event triggered by the scroll/swipe function? A JavaScript should do, but the SDK documents did not help so far...

In my case i have a table n user enters data on multiple rows in table , n i have some input fields outside of table for those Inputs fields am settiing the data at the screen initilization(in Init() moethod by hard code).the problem is whenever the is clicking in th 2nd row of a table the Lead Selection is triggerig and the data in the Input Fields outside the table is not displayinig.
So by removing the lead Selection Action of a table i thought i can reslove this,
2) How to refresha page(like we click F5 on key board),is it can be done thru code in web dynpro application

Hi,
You did not explained what is your functionality or coding in leadselection. Is that action on leadselection is necessary for you?.
1)If you just want to remove the action then go to table properties and remove the action for leadselection.
2)If you still want to continue with your leadselect action, then what you can do is.. write the code in leadselection action to again set the input fields which are out from table. That is what you did in your init method.
Page Refreshing
3) What do you mean by page refreshing? is that refreshing your table only or both the table and input fields.
What I understood is you are allowing the user to enter values in table and soon after pressing a button the values should be saved and the data in input fields shld be deleted. For this if you only invalidate the node then the user entered data will be lost.
So what you do is after getting the input data from the user add it to a ArrayList and then invalidate the node which clears the data in input field. Finally bind the Arraylist to your node. see the following code. This is a concept make changes according to your requirement

Forms personalisation - Vendor Form - How to Disable a Tab Page

Hi,
I am not a Forms 6i/9i programmer, although I have an appreciation of the concepts and can look at forms in Form builder. I have been looking at forms personalisation and have used it to execute plsql via the built in 'execute a procedure'. I can also see how to disable blocks, or items, but I haven;t managed to disable a form tab page i.e. On the vendor form there are tabs for GENERAL, CLASSIFICATION etc.
I have tried using the object type Tab Page, but the poplist doesn;t list any tab pages. Also if you choose Canvas, the list of Canvases appears but generates errors when you try and use the form (complaining of tab page ids).
I understand that to disable a tab page programatically, you would use SET_TAB_PAGE_PROPERTY i.e. in a forms trigger or in CUSTOM.pll
I would have thought Forms personalisation could do this.
Any ideas would be appreciated

What you can do is hiding the tabs (see pic below) and force the active tab programmaticily

How to disable autoloading of previously opened page when i open firefox ?

When i open firefox, the last opened website automatically load
instead of default firefox homepage. I do not want this due to privacy issue.
This did not happen in previous versions of Firefox.
How to disable this ?

You can also check the startup setting:
*Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my home page" "Show a blank page"
Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time.
