How to display flash controlbar while playing videos on Oracle Apex 3.2.1?

Hi,
I´m developing an APEX application that displays Flash videos on a html page.
I could display the video, but without the flash control bar (PLAY, STOP, PAUSE, SOUND VOLUM, etc).
I´ve created an HTML region on a page with de following code:

Couple things here..
Please change forum name to something more friendly..
Please when posting, include such information as database version, APEX version
Also, I do NOT believe you need to include the <body> tag when building your region....

Some web pages have, either for advertisement or content, a box playing videos automatically. An example is Yahoo Finance playing Bloomberg videos. It costs bandwidth on some devices. There is no setting for that on the phone. Some carriers provide ringback tones, which play instead of the caller hearing a ring. But I am not aware of an app that would play a message prior to you picking up the phone. The amount of time before you pick up is not a constant, and if it lasts too long, then the call would go to voicemail.

I cannot believe that it's not a feature.
What if I was watching a video and wanted to shut it off quickly? I'll have to hit back? Wait for the previous screen to load then hit the power button?

While playing video system crashes all the times. I am using WIN 7 and also had skype installed(don't know if that would cause it). Any idea how to fix that?

I'm sorry, I didn't explain myself correctly. I was referring to watching a video on the iPod. It is really annoying when the video freezes momentarily, and the audio continues to play smoothly, but by the time the video catches up, you have lost several frames of your video. You know what I mean? Really annoying...

Let me ask you this:
How can you "watch" a video while you are scrolling
around in your menus? There is only one screen on my
iPod and I can only use it to watch videos OR scroll
through menus. When I press the menu button while
watching a video, the iPod goes back to the previous
menu. Then, when I go back to the video, it starts
back exactly where it was when I pressed the menu
button in the first place. Apparently, it pauses
while you are looking through the menu screens. Now
with music, I understand what you're saying but I
haven't had any stuttering or anything while browsing
the menus. The video is a bad example because it
doesn't work like you have explained....

Elements Organizer - some WMV are not displayed properly in the Play Video but are in Play Vide on Full screen. What's the problem? Wrong codec?

Because WMV's can contain a lot of flags, like DRM, they can exhibit odd behavior, indeed.
Usually, AV files will display in their native resolution, i.e. in their set Frame Size/Aspect Ratio and with their set PAR (Pixel Aspect Ratio), but sometimes those flags are missed, or are altered by other programs.
Remember, WMV's are designed to be streaming delivery-only, and are not intended, or designed to be edited. Most NLE's (Non Linear Editors) will allow them to be edited, but will require extra processing to do so. As is mentioned, WMM is designed around editing that delivery-only format, but most others are not.
There are many other formats/CODEC's, that ARE designed to be edited by the vast majority of NLE's, such as DV-AVI Type II's.
The best workflow is to NOT bring WMV's into the mix, unless one is using WMM exclusively. Converting those to an easily editable format/CODEC will always be the best course of action.

Try to download the application VLC.
It is a media player that should be able to play any audio or video file you may have. If your videos play flawlessly using that application, then the issue is with iTunes and Quicktime, as they are both essentially similar software types when it comes to playing media.
In that case you may need to install a plug-in file called Perian, in order for the videos to play correctly within iTunes or at least Quicktime...

Why is it that when playing videos from any video site the speed is slow even when video is finished downloading? It only happens with Flash videos?

a flash player. Now my requirement is basically a skin with the
following feature..
A JPEG advertisement is displayed while the video connects
and buffers. Once the video is ready, the JPEG is removed and the
video plays. At the completion of the video, the JPEG is replaced.
I shall be using a banner ad management software so as to make a
geo targeting ad..
Well my requirement is that I need to have static
advertisement displayed while the video connects and buffers. JPEG
is removed and the video plays. At the completion of the video, the
JPEG is replaced.
Can anyone help me as to how it is done OR give me script for
the same.

jpeg(banner) into a MovieClip that resides on a level above the
Player instance. You could use the Player's event handlers to
control when the MovieClip is 'visible', and define a system to
load the banner content dynamically, working with your management
software.
I don't think you can place a static image 'into' the FLV
while the next video is loading (I could be wrong), but you could
easily make it appear that way, by constructing the MC
accordingly.
