How to download a module pool program along with its screens ,includes etc

Hello Experts,
How can I download a module pool program along with its screens ,includes etc to my presentatio0n server and then upload it back when needed.
When I searched , I got a program which is satisfying my partial requirement because it only downloads
the module pool program first(ie.just the main program) and then the include needs to be downloaded to the system separately.Screen and statuses wont be downloaded.
Is there a way to download all the objects for the corresponding program store in some format and then upload it back when required.
Please Help.

Hello,
Go to the layout of the modulepool to be uploaded or downloaded. choose the menu path utilities->upload/download.
The same file which is downloaded can be used to upload
1.the screen flow logic and
2.layout
Using this you can upload as well as download

goto se80 then click find program,
next u want any name of the program enter as,
Attribute type as find Module pool click it.
next u want any package and save and activate.
program name with create screen with any number then
click layout and u want any object and save , actived.
click flow logic , four types as PBO and PAI and POV, POH.
PBO---> Trigger is before screen.
its applied for display screen and inactive or no display screen only
PAI--->Trigger is after screen
when u want button then its processed.
POV--> Value requested for F4.
POH-->Help requested for F1.

Debugging of module pool is same as reports, use /h or put breakpoint
but u shud know what u want to check
there are generally two event used in module pool
PBO
This event is used before displaying the screen,It is used to clear fields table, show table control, tabstrip and most important conditionally modify the scrren .
PAI
is used to validate the fields which are entered on the screen with database values and then fetch records from table.
i mean all values to make available in internal table
now u would be sure which part u want to debug.

Fnd_load to download/upload concurrent program along with its schedule also

Is there any fnd_load command which can download all the scheduled programs along with there parameters, program name and its schedule.

How to Upload a module Pool Program in SAP

I have downloaded My Program Using Report REPTRAN. Now i want to know how we can Upload the Module pool program and Reports in SAP .

Use open source project SAPLINK for downloading objects into files and uploading them into SAP. I think REPTRAN is only to download the source code.

1. GO TO SE80, and select program from drop down
2. Enter Source Prog Name and press enter
3. Below Object name, right click on the program
4. Select COPY and enter the (New) Target Prog Name
it ll ask for following check box options
-Source
-Text Element
-Documentation
-Variant...etc.
5 Select all and press enter.

Is there any direct way for using one module pool programcode in another module pool program.

If you want to use the code.
first you can write your code in a subroutine in module pool program 1
and then you can use it from module pool program 2 by
perform subroutine_name(program_name)
using P_1
changing C_1
if you wan to use one module pool data into other module pool.
so that is another requirement.

My requirement is to copy some Module pool programs from one SAP server to another SAP server which do not have any link.
Please advise on this.

put all relevant objects inside a transport request and release it. this will generate two files, a control file in /usr/sap/trans/cofiles/ and a data file in /usr/sap/trans/data/
you can take these two files, zip'em up and e.g. email them to your destination. There they have to be put into the same directories of that other server and can then be added to the import queue and finally imported.
These last steps would usually be done by an administrator.
Both systems should be on the same release, as far as I know.

LV 7.1 - How can I use installer to create folder with its files included w/o adding each file?

I have several files to place in folders created by the installer. Can't seem to see how I can avoid adding each file individually at build time. Is there an easier way to do this? Simply "adding" a folder would be a solution.

Hi,
You cannot just download and upload module pool programs .
There are 2 different ways.
1. Copy all the includes and and create the same in the target system. You can download and upload the the Screen.
But GUI status you have to manually create.
2. If you have completely saved the module-pool program in one Workbench request(including Z tables u have used) in the original system ,just release the workbench request and copy the data file and co file and upload to the target system ( use CG3Y & CG3Z).
If the workbench is a Local Request save it in a Transport of copies and then move.

Error message in Module Pool program

Hi folks,
           I have developed a module pool program for a custom screen. while entering data on the screen,
it throws a error message for a wrong data entry.But, even after cliking enter, the error message coming repeatedly and the screen is disabled.I havent inculded the screen fields in between CHAIN-ENDCHAIN.Is this the reason for the bug. If so, i have approximately 50 fields on my screen.Should i keep all those fields in between CHAIN-ENDCHAIN. Pls suggest me...

Strange problem in module pool programming

Hi all,
we have a module pool program which consists of screen 100 and 200 and 3 sub-screens 201,202 and 203.the problem is when we double click on any field we get a pop up message which should appear only when we press the 'SAVE' button for which ok_code is 'CHNG'.I have debugged the program for screen 100 pbo,pai,200 pbo but the value of ok_code is not equal to 'CHNG' then it takes me to screen 200 and when i double click then popup appears and and in 200 PAI the value of ok_code had already got changed to 'CHNG' without entering the change logic and I have not even pressed the SAVE button which has 'CHNG' code associated with it.Can any one help me solve this problem.I wish I could give a better explanation.

Hi,
This is because the Shortcut key assigned to SAVE button in PF-STATUS is "F2". F2 is for Double Click. Assign some other Function Key to SAVE or any Button. Try to avoid assigning F2 key.
This would solve the problem.

Dropdown list in module pool program

Hi,
I need to display a dropdown list for LFA1-LIFNR in my module pool program.
In the screen painter I have added an Input/Output field with name LFA1-LIFNR and corresponding to the Dropdown option I have selected Listbox. When I execute the program empty dropdown list is coming. It is not taking the values of LIFNR from the table LFA1. Please let me know the solution for this.

Hello Abaper,
You have very well designed the drop-down box that is to be reflected in your program. The next thing for you to do is use any 1 method for populating the values i.e. using the function module F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST or VRM values. I prefer to use the the F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST as it is easy to use and understand. If you use the following function module then you need to call in a module under the flow logic of the screen i.e. PROCESS ON VALUE REQUEST.
Let me just illustrate you with the syntax -
Module Pool Code
*internal table declaration
TYPES : BEGIN OF ty_lifnr,
                 lifnr TYPE lfa1-lifnr,
END OF ty_lifnr.
DATA : itab_lifnr TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF ty_lifnr.
*Dialog Modules for PBO
*Dialog Module for PAI
MODULE cancel INPUT.
   LEAVE PROGRAM.
*Dialog Module Process on value reuest
MODULE create_dropdownbox INPUT.
   SELECT lifnr
   FROM LFA1
   INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE itab_lifnr.
CALL FUNCTION 'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST'
