How to...download the SVG Graph in PDF format or Email it

I have generated a line chart using SVG Graph, I need to download it in PDF format and email it.
Please help, How do I do that ?

FYI, Adobe has announced it will no longer support the SVG Viewer as of Jan 1st, 2009 (link), so you should probably switch over to flash charts in APEX (introduced in 3.0).
BI Publisher supports charts embedded in PDFs. You can also have the PDF automatically emailed via this technique.

I know one method to convert the sapscript to pdf file :
first generate a Spool Request for the required Sapscript
then goto transaction SP01 and copy the generated Spool Request number
now execute the SAP report RSTXPDFT4
here enter the copied Spool request number and the target directory into the parameters
execute the report
required pdf file will be generated into the target directory

you will get the byte format of the pdf form the pdf source attribute , create a resource using that byte data of type pdf as following

create a context element say fileresource of type iwdresource.
set it's value as following.

We have a graph report, in which we have Clustered Bar Graphs. We know that the graph generated is a BMP , but still we have a strange requirement asking whether we can download the graph to PDF/Excel.
Any Suggestions ?! (I know its wierd, when we can right click and save the bmp, but just curious to know about any alternatives)

No support as such in OAGraph.
you may want to write a tool of your own or i think you may get one on the net to save the page as a mht and then transform it to a PDF.

How to find the path of a PDF sent for email review

We have a problem where the path linking an email review to the original source document has been changed. The emailed comments do not prompt the user to merged the comments with the original file.
I assume there must we some way to identify the original file path so that it can be reinstated.

but the each bolck in ALV is displaying different pages of PDF.
In my report I have 4 block in 1 page, I am able to see the output in PDF but in different page.

hi,
I believe that your have 4 containers on the screen with individual ALV display. in this case, there is no way to get combined PDF output to my knowledge.
However you can use Smartform/Sapscript as output which would allow you to display ALV in blocks and also print it in one.

The code all goes into the chart attributes area in the onload and the header section.
Make sure to pay close attention to the onload

I was a little overzealous in catching javascript errors in the built in SVG so it doesn't work in Firefox unless you split the try and catch statements. This will get fixed in next version.
Also this statement
if(document){svgDoc = document;} // this fixes Adobe Vs FF difference
should go into the first line of any custom javascript that you use in the SVG as it fixes a difference in the FF 1.5 implementation and Adobe Plugin again it will be fixed in next version.
Making these changes should allow you to run almost any javascript in the Builtin SVG charts so it opens up a lot of possibilities for customization and adding interaction.

I don't think it is possible to redirect the html stream of the Web Dynpro iView to a PDF / Excel document, since it essentially would mean you have to call the Web Dynpro application again, maintaining the state and context of the iview itself
However, using (for instance) the JExcelApi (Excel) or iText (PDF) you could create documents using the data displayed in your Web Dynpro iView, which has the added benefit you could design and layout your PDF / Excel documents in a more suitable layout for printing (most WD applications look horrible when printed)
