How to edit TCURC values in BI

Can someone tell me how to edit values in TCURC table?
(I'm having issues importing it from R3 and I need a quick fix in mean time)

Just a bit more explanation on what Ravi posted:
You should go to Customizing transaction SPRO and select the following path:
SAP NetWeaver ->General Settings->Currencies->Check currency codes
That way you can also access the relevant documentation.
This leads you to the view V_CURC.
In there you can take advantage of the cross system table viewer to compare with the settings in your R/3 system. To do so select from the menu:
Utilities->Adjustment (in Change mode)
Utilities->Comparison (in Display mode)
Pick the RFC connection to connect to your R/3 system. Use the Filter icon to hide identical records. Select all (Edit->Select->...) and click on Adjust. Copy all and go back confirming the pop up with Yes. That way you can copy over values from R/3 to BW.
*Note: This tool works on all views that exist in both systems and you can compare and copy data easily.

Also a PreparedStatement is pre-compiled so will perform faster than a Statement.
Take care to close objects for PreparedStatement, Connection in the finally block. Exception occurence in the middle of code may cause connection leaks ..so your finally block will ensure that these are mandatorily closed.
Do refer tutorials with ready to execute examples. It would give you insight how to code the right way else you might end up posting each problem on this forum.

How to edit the value in the email activity in process flow

I have an email activity in my process flow.
I want to change the value for the message body of the email activity. But it is not editable. While creation all the columns are in editable mode and after deploying and testing, i want to change the body of the email to be sent.
How can i do it now? Please advice. This issue is in 6.0.4 release.

got the solution after so much research !
in 6.0.4, only way we can change the value for the message body or subject is to change the associate email procedure. which is something like edx_rpt_email.

For using FTP function in LabVIEW, I recommend you to check this document: FTP Basics
Also, take a look at FTP Browser.vi, which is available at the Example Finder.
To edit a XML file, try to use VIs in XML palette. Maybe Write to XML.vi helps you.
Post your current VI if possible.

How to edit the node value of a tree in webdynpro java

Hi ALL
I have Tree UI element where i got displayed all the nodes by calling the BAPI
Now my requirement is when i put the cursor at any node in the Tree struture then on click of insert button i need to insert the new node with the text , the user has to be option to give new text for the new node dynamically , so while adding the new node in a tree the tree has to choose the text for new node , like how to edit the node of a tree to add new text.
If any one can send the sample code on the same then it would be great help to me.
Similar requirement like in table UI Like however we are adding the new row in a table when we click on the insert button then cursor will go to that new row in a table where user can enter his details in the table.. now i am looking for the same requirement in a Tree UI element.
is it possible the same requirement in tree UI element in webdynpro for Java??

In general I think this is not possible in the form you'd like. It seems the Tree control is read-only thing always. It cannot provide editing capabilities.
Table is different thing. You can select within many different cell editors including Input Fields.
I guess that you scenario could be implemented not with Tree control, but with Table with Master Column. The master column allows to bring up a hierarchy into a plain table. So it's just a tree inside a table.

I am using oracle 10g.
In the process of getting each number from the parm '(25,23,35,1)' , I also need the position of the number
say 25 is at 1 position.
23 is at 2
35 is at 3

the reason I need that is when I build seperate select for each value, I need to add the query number at the end of the select query.

Hi,
You can use GetDatabankValue(HeaderName, Value) to get the value from databank and SetDataBankValue(HeaderName, Value) to set the value to databank.
You can refer to the API Reference to see list of associated functions and techniques we can use with related to Data Bank.
This is the for OFT but if you are using Open Script then you have direct access for getting the databank value but when it comes to setting a value you have to use File operation and write you own methods to do the set operation.

I'm running shell commands from an Oracle db (11gr2) on aix.
But, I would like to get a return value from a shell comand... like you get with "echo $?"

I have a simple question. I have a jTable in my screen and when editing a value, but without click "enter" or "tab" I want to get the new value. I have a button update and after editing the value I click the button "update" and I want the new value to be store in my table. If try to get the selected value it is giving the old value. How to pass a value from the report to a form ( BIT OF URGENT ).

I had created a "Form on a Table with Report" on the report I had remove the edit link and set one of the column feilds that functionality. Now I want to know how to pass that value that is clicked ( having hyper link ) on to the form where it runs a SQL query and then displays the reuslts on the form.
Illustrating with an example.
I am having these following columns on the report ( these are the results for the join statement )
JOBNUM JOBNAME DEPTNUMBER SAL EMPNO LNAME FNAME
In the above JOBNUM is having Hyper link as I removed the edit image.
Now this is area I am having problem. When the user clicked on the JOBNUM then on form it should display 20 other columns( pulled from 5 other tables ) which are related to that particualr JOBNUM.
Anybody give me a solution in which area I have to include my SQL statement and how to pass that selected value to that SQL statement.

I am doing exaclty what you have suggested me but no luck. I started changing the DEMO_CUSTOMERS application to my requirements.The report is working fine and on the report I have created a page attribute to the Hyper linked column and linked that to the page 2 and assign that attribute with #JOBNUM#.
I am able to pass that value on to form when I click on the JOBNUM. But the problem is I am not able to pass that value into the SQL query so that my query pulls 20+ columns on to the Form ( which is second page ).
Small clarification... On the form region it is said FORM NAME and type is HTML is that is the way the APEX was designed or does it need to say region type as FORM.

Can some one help me to understand how to use table valued function in OBIEE? I want to use a table valued function (MSSQL function, with some input parameter), in the physical layer to pull the data?
I know for MSSQL Stored Procedure we can write as
EXEC SP_NAME @Parameter = 'VLUEOF(NQ_SESSION.Variablename)'
but now I have a table valued function in the query window I can get the data as
select * from myfunction(parametervalue)
In physical layer of OBIEE I have tried as
select * from myfunction('VLUEOF(NQ_SESSION.Variablename)'), but I'm getting error as the NQ_SESSION variable doesn't have a value , but actually I have initialized the variable but still Im getting error.
Can some one help me to solve this.

Incidentally, INDICATOR is a keyword in Oracle, so you may have problems using it as a column name. If so, you'll have to enclose the column name in double-quotes, and be careful to use capital letters inside the quotes.
