How to embed assets (GUIs) from different files, which are sharing common assets (BGs, Buttons)?

I'm working in a bigger game project with a lot of Popups and GUIs. We use [Embed ...] in the code, to be able to implement the user interfaces.
At the moment we have all GUIs in only one FLA, as they are sharing a lot of assets. The problem is, when several people work on the file, it can be difficult to merge the results, so we are looking for a way to put each GUI in an own file. The problem are the shared assets.
We tried a runtime shared library, but this does not work with [Embed] (actually, we don't want to load extra files).
We tried an authortime shared library, but this just creates (synchronized) copies in each FLA, so in the target SWF with the embeds, we have duplicated assets.
Does anybody have a solution for this problem?

Well...shame about me...The solution is don't use " ../ " !!!
If you just start with the folder name (f.e. assets) , it locates this folder in the same directory as your swf...
..I ll get myself a new user name now

You can remove them manually on the device. Swipe across the track to bring up a delete button.

How to read a line from a file which contains 45000 characters?

Hi all,
     Iam a receiving a .CSV file which contains n number of rows ,each row has a data seperated with delimiter.
These values based on delimiter it is seperated and certain validations are handled.
Iam using UTL_FILE.GET_LINE operator to read the value and store it in a variable which is declared as l_text VARCHAR2(30000).
when we receive a line which contains huge characters say 45000 then it throws an error(Unable to read the file).
Only on rare cases we used to receive these kind of files with huge size.
Kindly help to solve this issues.

Are you trying to use data from this .csv file into your realtion tables. If yes and If you are using 11g Oracle database. I would suggest you create External Tables using the below query,

STEP1: You need a Directory where your SCHEMA has read/write access. Store the csv file in that directory.
STEP2: Create an EXTERNAL Table script. Please refer the above URL. Examples are for coma delimiter (,); replace it with your pipe (|) in the code
STEP: Once your external table is created you can simply create a relational table as below:

SELECT * FROM external_table;

Start transaction MD04, put on the trace in another window, press enter to see the stock/requirements list, then stop the trace and list the results. Then you'll see which tables were accesses with which queries.

The Split view and Disign view are disabled. Could someone tell me how to configurate Dreamweaver to treat .pt file like .html file?

In investigating it for this article, it was not possible to open .pt (page template) files using Dreamweaver, which is a deal breaker, as page templates are certainly part of the theming process. How do I import songs from different computers with home sharing?

I am trying to share music from my Macbook Pro to my father's Mac Desktop. I was able to get the 'home sharing' to work; I can see and play my father's music and he is able to play mine too. I was trying to import the songs but I am not able to copy & paste and I do not see an 'import' button at the bottom right of our windows when selecting songs. Am I missing a step or is there something else I do not know?

After researching through the forums, I figured it out. You have to make sure you are logged in under the same account on both computers. At first I was logged under my account on my computer and logged in under my father's account on my father's computer. You have to choose one account to log in under on both computers and then you will be abler to import songs from both computers. If you do not log in under the same account, you will be able to listen to both computers' music, but not import.

Getting this error trying to access both the ESB and BPEL datasources in SOA Suite 10.1.3 GA.
Any ideas how to fix?

I am also getting same error message when I am trying to establish a olite connection. Moreover I got this error when I opened BPEL console :
Cannot fetch a datasource connection.
The process domain was unable to establish a connection with the datasource with the connection URL "jdbc/BPELServerDataSourceWorkflow". The exception reported is: [POL-3309] trying to use datapage from different file
Please check that the machine hosting the datasource is physically connected to the network. Otherwise, check that the datasource connection parameters (user/password) is currently valid.

How to exclude schema name from exported files (PL SQL Developer)

Just one question: I am using PL SQL Developer. My goal is to export some data (as .sql and .dmp files) from one database and to import them into the another database (both databases have identical structure - test database and production, just different database names and names of schema. In order to make it possible, I need to exclude schema name from generated export file. I believe that it is possible to do it automatically by setting up parameters of PL SQL Developer. How?

In the meantime, I have found the answer on my previous question:
Actually, the initial idea (how to exclude schema name from exported files) was wrong. No need for any intervention.
Trick is: Schema name can be changed during the import of exported files (PL SQL Developer during import gives possibility: From User (old schema) To User (new schema) .

Sorry, yes this is Microsoft Excel. The Microsoft XP has Excel files denoted as xl, the later versions of Microsoft Excel are denoted as xls files. The later verions of Microsoft Excel open the xl files OK, does Excel for Mac not able to do this?
