How to embed radio audio stream into a website?

Hello.  I'm helping out with the radio website below and at the top of the left column is a "Listen Live" link, which currently just goes directly to their live audio stream.  We would instead rather embed that into a Flash player, or such, to make it more professional.  Would someone have a suggestion of a Flash music player that I could embed?  Maybe something like one of Premiumbeat's Flash players?

Inserting an mp3 file and live audio streaming are very different, and the difference in complexity would be the equivalent of servicing a bike and servicing a car.
Even though the tutorial I pointed you too is more complex than you require, the basics are the same, and as there are almost no tutorials on this subjects available unless you wish to delve into the programming - http://www.aaronsw.com/2002/howto/stream, - http://www.phpclasses.org/browse/package/3927.html.

    I need to merge multiple live audio streams into a single stream so that i can pass this stream as input to VOIP through a softphone.
    For this i tried the following approach:
    Created a new stream (str1) on FMS onAppStart and recorded the live streams (sent throgh microphone) in that new stream.
    Below is the code :

    The problem is that the Stream.play plays only 1 live stream at a time.As soon as a the 2nd live stream is sent to FMS then Stream.play stops playing the previous live stream.So,only the latest live stream is getting recorded.Whereas i need to record all the live streams in the new stream simultaneously.
    Any pointers regarding this are welcome.

    well i tried this once for one of my scripts and the final conclusion is its not possible to combine two streams into 1.....how would you time/encode the two voices......there is no know solution to this in flash. If you continue on despite me and find a solution please post it so we can explain to rest of world.

    Does anybody know how to embed a tif image into an iFrame or maybe a image UI element....not sure what the best approach for doing this is.
    We have a url available to Ixos server which launches the tif image: Example:

    How would we have this tif image already embedded in an iFrame when the application launches?  We don't want it to launch a new window.

    An Image UI element will not work because TIF is not an image format supported natively by browsers. In IFrame should work, just set the "src" property to the URL.

    I am doing a project on Voice Chat Room. I am success to captured the live audio from a microphone and I would like to use socket to tranmit those live audio data. I have the basic knowledge of socket, but I don't know how to set those audio stream to be the inputstream of socket.
    Can you tell me whether it is possible to do this? And can you give me some hints how to do this?

  • How do I Label Audio Streams for Playback

    I am working on a DVD with 2 audio streams and the client would like when toggling from one stream to the next for them to be labeled on the DVD player "5.1" or "2.0". I know I have seen it on retail DVD's. Currently it just reads 1 or 2. How do I change it so it reads "5.1" or "2.0"? Is this a scripting thing? Scripting is the one thing that I am really having a hard time grasping and understanding unfortunately even with tutorials. Any help, info, or tutorials are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    If you mean labelled on the text display screen on the front of the DVD player hardware, then this isn't something you can control from the disc. It is a feature of the player itself.
    If you want to show the audio choice on the TV screen as the disc plays back (i.e. within a menu where you make an audio stream choice) then that's different - it is possible to do this.
    If you want to change the audio stream using the remote handset and show the change in audio stream dynamically at any time on the TV screen as the disc is playing, then that is also not possible.

    I don't mean to take advantage of your good nature, and willingness to help, but I do have a simular problem trying to insert the +1 button.  Have you heard that Google is giving favorable ranking advantages if you use their +1 button which is the take-off of the Facebook Like button.
    I would like to add the google +1 button to my Front page (Index page) having watched many "You Tube" videos it appears to be easy enough. Needless to say, I am not having any luck working it out.

    I am looking for help with Captivate 3. I have a demonstration recording that gives me two swf files, one for the actuall recording, another for the skin. The company I work for uses Helpstream for knowledge base content. The articles I enter need to sometimes have videos embeded. They use a tiny mce editor, and I'm not sure how to embed the two files together. After publishing the recording, I tried to take the object code from the html file, and use that, but that did not work.
    Any suggestions on how I can do this? Is there some setting that I need to have before publshing that will combine the skin and recording into one flash file? Currently I use Camtasia, but I would like to create more advanced video content and start using CAptivate full time.

    Hi there
    Clicking Project > Skin > Borders tab and DE-selecting the Show Borders option will eliminate the skin.SWF from being created.

    I just downloaded the VGL widget at Video Gallery Lightbox | Exchange | Adobe Muse CC . I'm able to change the picture but have not figured out how to embed the video. The instructions say it can be changed "via an "insert html" but when I do this I just get another video inserted into the page. Help!!!

    Select the composition and go to composition options > enable "show lightbox parts while editing".
    Now select the target container and remove existing video and insert video html in that container. This way you can change the videos.

  • Artwork for Radio Audio Stream

    I have a playlist of audio streams from internet radio stations, including NPR and Norwegian NRK P1. I would like to have artwork associated with these streams in the playlist, so that for example the artwork would show up on my iPhone Remote app. I can drag artwork over to the "Drag Album Artwork Here" section. However, this artwork will only work until I start the stream the next time round.
    Is there any way to keep the artwork for these streams? Or is the artwork loaded as part of the stream from the URL and therefore reset every time?

    This is something Apple should add to iTunes. It's really annoying to see the default album icon for streaming media.

    I'm  trying to embed a mp4 video into a pdf using Acrobat Pro XI.  When I try to play the video, all I see is a black box. The video is H.264 codec. I've tried on a PC and Mac and get the same results.

    Video playback in the Acrobat Family uses Flash Player, so if it works in FP (loaded via an HTML page) then it should work in your PDF. First suggestion is to use the free MediaInfo tool to check exactly what the internal structure reports as.

    You might use an alternative approach: Run exec task and use a external tool to do the encoding.

    I think from a performance point of view or to handle large files it would be even recommended in using such tools rather then encoding inside your application ... that might be different if you need to do the encoding in real-time ...

  • Created my own subscription box in animate, how to embed the mail code into the symbols?

    So i think  I am on the right track, I am trying to embed my mailchimp code into my animate site, and I decided to build my own text box and button in animate and convert them into symbols. Both text box and button or inside of a bigger symbol so that they stay in a responisive design. however when I tryin and plug in the mail code it just puts the subscription box behind my symbols. Is this because html code doesnt work in animate or am I just really stupid and am doing it all wrong? Ha probably the second part, . Any help would be great!.

    What's happening is that you're inserting static HTML into the base HTML of your current project.  We treat any third party static HTML as underneath all managed elements.  You can find out whether or not it's being treated as static by hovering over the element in the elements panel:
    One thing you can do is to dynamically insert your mailchimp code into a div by changing the html() property of that div using jQuery.  So, something like this:
