    Hey sapan,
    You can use IdcCommand to execute services from the command line. The process is as follows:
    1. Create a text file with the services calls you want to make, the definitions are in hda format:
    @Properties LocalData
    IdcService=UPDATE_DOCINFO
    dID=1
    dDocName=000001
    dDocType=MyType
    dSecurityGroup=Public
    dRevLabel=1
    dDocAuthor=sysadmin
    dDocTitle=My Title
    @end
    <<EOD>>
    (Note: for multiple entries in the file <<EOD>> is very important)
    2. Execute IdcCommand from the <content server install>/bin directory:
    IdcCommand -f image_update.hda -u sysadmin -l c:\idccommand.log
    Options:
    -f = file with service definitions
    -u = user to run as
    -l (lowercase L) = location for log of execution
    More detailed documentation can be found in the Idc Command Reference (idc_command_reference_10en.pdf).
    Hope that helps,

    Use the following syntax

    Also make sure that the repository connection details are all correct before running scenario via startscen script

    Hi,
    Are you able to start the Standalone Agent(KANBAN) and test it in the Topology?
    Check the value of the ODI_MASTER_URL variable in odiparams file(at the path <ODI_HOME>\oracledi\agent\bin) of the agent.
    Specify the full the JDBC URL properly not like localhost(until the DB is on same machine as your ODI).

  • How to run ODI scenario from java?

    I am new to java, need to do some testing on how to invoke ODI scenarios from java.
    Can somebody drop me some simple code?
    Thanks a lot,
    Lei

    Hi there
    1. Start your agent (double click agent.bat)
    2. generate scenario for ur package(right click ur package , select generate scenario)
    3. Add the odi-sdk-invocation.jar file to your java project
    ODIcmdScenario=new OdiCommandScenario();
    ODIConnection=new OdiRepositoryConnection();
    ODIConnection.setOdiUser("ur-username");
    ODIConnection.setOdiPassword("ur-password");
    ODIConnection.setJdbcDriver("Driverdetail");
    ODIConnection.setJdbcUrl("url-details");
    ODIConnection.setJdbcUser("dbusername");
    ODIConnection.setJdbcPassword("dbpass");
    ODIcmdScenario.setScenName("scenarioname");
    ODIcmdScenario.setScenVersion("scenarioversion");
    ODIcmdScenario.setLogLevel(5);
    ODIcmdScenario.setContext("context");
    ODIConnection.setWorkRepositoryCode("repository");
    ODIInvocation = new OdiInvocation("hostname", 20910); //20910 default port
    OdiInvocationResult result=ODIInvocation.invokeCommand(ODIcmdScenario,ODIConnection);
    Hope this helps!
    Cheers

  • How to run Endeca Graphs from command Line

    Hi,
    I would like to know if there is any way to run Endeca Graphs from command line in Windows.
    Thank you,

    The correct way to execute a graph using the command line in windows is.......
    Execute the following command from the project folder:
    C:\Oracle\Endeca\Discovery\3.1.0\IntegratorETL\configuration\org.eclipse.osgi\bundles\5\1\.cp\lib\bin\clover.bat -plugins "/C:/Oracle/Endeca/Discovery/3.1.0/IntegratorETL/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/bundles/5/1/.cp/lib/plugins;/C:/Oracle/Endeca/Discovery/3.1.0/IntegratorETL/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/bundles/6/1/.cp/lib/plugins/;/C:/Oracle/Endeca/Discovery/3.1.0/IntegratorETL/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/bundles/9/1/.cp/lib/plugins/;/C:/Oracle/Endeca/Discovery/3.1.0/IntegratorETL/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/bundles/14/1/.cp/lib/plugins/;C:/Oracle/Endeca/Discovery/3.1.0/IntegratorETL/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/bundles/21/1/.cp/lib/plugins/;/C:/Oracle/Endeca/Discovery/3.1.0/IntegratorETL/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/bundles/23/1/.cp/lib/plugins/;/C:/Oracle/Endeca/Discovery/3.1.0/IntegratorETL/plugins/com.endeca.latitude_1.0.0/lib/plugins/;/C:/Oracle/Endeca/Discovery/3.1.0/IntegratorETL/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/bundles/358/1/.cp/lib/plugins/" -noJMX graph\graph_name.grf
    Our costumer needed to run some ETL process from ODI and once it finished start a Clover ETL process (automatically). So we created a .bat file witth the above command and then in ODI we created a package with all ETL interfaces and the last step of the package was a OScommand component that excecuted the .bat script from the Endeca's project folder.
    Hope you find this post helpfully.

  • Why not all jars picked up by ojdeloy and how to generate build.xml from command line and not JDEV GUI - quick question

    Hi All
    We have 11.1.1.7 ojdeploy to compile our app.
    We notice in the log that not all jars are used in classpath arguments when we explicitly set them up for compilation.
    eg:
      <path id="classpath">
        <pathelement location="../../Oracle/Middleware/oracle_common/modules/oracle.adf.share_11.1.1/commons-el.jar"/>
        <pathelement location="../../Oracle/Middleware/oracle_common/modules/oracle.adf.share_11.1.1/jsp-el-api.jar"/>
        <pathelement location="../../Oracle/Middleware/oracle_common/modules/oracle.adf.share_11.1.1/oracle-el.jar"/>

        <pathelement location="interface/public_html/WEB-INF/lib/c.jar"/>
        <pathelement location="interface/public_html/WEB-INF/lib/d.jar"/>
    </path>
    Log Output -

    1- Is it because it depends on how jpr or jws are configured ?
    2- How can we automatically generate a build file of the application from command-line (as opposed to using Jdev IDE to click to generate a build.xml) ?

    The first  warning is happening because you're stating drivers for input devices without need. You haven't disabled hotplug so evdev gets used instead of kbd. This is normal, and you should change the driver line from kbd to evdev so that whatever options (if any) you've specified for the keyboard get parsed.
    The second warning is about you not installing acpid.
    The third I have no idea about, but look at the synaptics wiki. None of the (WW) are related to your video card.
    And every card that has 2 or more output ports show up as "two cards". You also don't need to specify the pci port in xorg.conf. edit: this is the general case with laptops, might be different for desktops.
    When I do lspci -v I get:
    00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
    Subsystem: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. Device 0110

    Subsystem: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. Device 0110
    Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0
    Memory at dfe00000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512K]
    Capabilities: <access denied>
    And it doesn't matter if it errs in trying to sli up with it self. That's just not a possibility.

  • How can pass the data from Command line  to  Applet?

    Hi,
    I am writing a chat application by using sockets. For that purpose I need to pass the parameter data from command line to Applets. Is there any method to receive command line args data in Applets? If so please tell me.

    Passing command line arguments to an applet is not possible, but for the same you can try using param tags, within your applet tag.
    For eg:
    <applet.......>
    <param name="xyz" value="abcdef">
    </applet>
    Within the applet's any method like init call <getParameter("xyz");>
    will return u the value.
