How to execute transaction GL25 in the background

In GL25, there is no option to create a variant and/or to execute in backgorund.
Therefore, is there a way to run a rollup in background/batch job?

There is no direct option from the screen. You can schedule a job using SM36 , give ABAP program anme as SAPMGLRV
But not sure if you can save a variant to execute this.

In SCAT give test case name then execute it. Then in next screen select the processing mode as background with the other details. This processing mode will trigger the tool execution in background mode.

Here's the solution I used to solve the same problem. If you're not comfortable editing the source files, this might be more than you want to take on--but I've done it to several files with no ill effects. A warning about editing the Master pages--it only edits them in that book--it doesn't update the theme. So if you go to create another book with those same layouts, you'll have to duplicate the book and replace all the images. An alternative would be to create a "clean" book with no photos in it and then just use that as a starting point each time.

you can do following: Create your subVI with the needet connectors (queue
and startup parameters perhaps) and insert a loop, which ends when the queue
is destroyed. Insert shift registers an initialize them with you start
parameters. During execution update the shift registers with the new values.
Now create the main VI and place a create queue. Wire the outgoing queue
reference to the subVI and a new loop.
So your subVI starts running and the loop is executing parallel. To stop the
program just destroy the queue inside the main loop and your subVI will also
stop.

How to run an application in the background when iMac starts up?

I installed TextExpander a couple of months back. It normally runs in the background and doesn't appear in my list of running applications when I cycle through them with Cmd+Tab. This is how I like it.
Of late though, TextExpander starts up when I switch on my machine, but it now appears as an application running in the foreground; if I Cmd+Tab through my running applications, TextExpander is listed among them.
I'd prefer if I did not see it when switching between applications.
I've tried restarting the machine, but to no avail. Also, there is nothing in the preferences to run in the background.
(Possibly unrelated: I don't recall doing anything in particular that might have caused this change in behaviour, but I have noticed recently that TextExpander has found an 'older version' and is asking me if I want to remove it. I don't remember updating it to a newer version, and I don't believe I have it set to auto-update.)
Can anyone explain how I can make it run in the background? I'd be very grateful.

How do I find and save the background music file of my Flash site?

I see that the background music in my Flash site is located in a symbol called muz. When I click the properties of this symbol, the sound file's location is listed as .\flash\sound\muz.wav I couldn't find that sound sub-folder in the flash folder nor could I find the file. I tried doing a search to look for the muz.wav file in my computer but it could not be found. Does anyone know how I can find and save this file? Can the symbol somehow be exported and the sound file be extracted that way?

I copied and pasted the symbol into an empty .fla file. This new .fla file is just 1 frame. Can you tell me what you mean by "spreading" it along the timeline? When I tried exporting it to a .wav file (as just 1 frame in timeline), I only hear a fraction of a fraction of the first note of the music in the generated .wav file. The music is heard fine in its entirety when previewing the .fla file (F12).
By the way, in the symbol's properties, there is an option to "Export for ActionScript" and an option to "Export for runtime sharing". Do you think any of these would work?

I guess you will have to use the asynchronous RFC for your requirement.
So that this FM can be called frm WD applicaiotn and due to asynchronous nature, it has no relation with other user actions which are going on .

One way is to create a text box. Then you can arrange the image to the back, text to front.
Another way is to convert from word processing to page layout mode (accessed through File > Convert to Page Layout). The image can then be sent to the back.

Providing transaction control at both places, as a rule makes absolutely no sense at all (to me). I actually believe that this would be far more error-prone (not error-proof). It's really a logistics issue. When you are working on the Java code, you won't have the stored procedure(s) code right there. While you may design it masterfully at first, as maintenance occurs, the mastery can easily be lost as assumptions are made on when and where commit or rollback processing is going to take place. The end result would be a system that could easily corrupt the logical integrity of the database.
If you have to make a decision up front, and you believe performance will ultimately be a concern, then your decision should be to handle transaction management within the stored procedure(s). However, this decision will make the stored procedures far more complex than what the DBA or application staff is familiar with. You would also have to take some care to release resources as appropriate within the Java code.
If you decide to manage transactions within JDBC, it is possible that you will have to move a portion of transaction managment to one or two of the stored procedures. This would be a 'fix' for a poorly performing functionality, and you would simply take care to limit this as much as possible.
I wish I could guide you specifically, but I'm working at 20,000 feet related to your specific application needs.

i have managed to put widget on the desktop from the dashboard. now i want to know...
a) how to put the widget in the background? it remains on top all the time.
b) how to have 'space' specific widgets. right now all of them appear in all spaces.

haha! i thought it was a hidden secret until google told be otherwise.
btw, i am not sure if u understand my question. i want the widgets to stay on the desktop but not on top of all other applications. it should come on top only when i select it.
rebooting still maintains the widgets i transfered to the desktop to stay there, which is good, but, they always remain on top, which i don't want.

Which version of PSE is this? if it's 11 or 12, you could choose a single photo layout from the layouts panel (click button at bottom right of screen), but generally speaking for these versions there is no sense in using Create to make a collage at all. It's not like some of the earlier versions where there were things you could do in create that you couldn't do in the regular editor. Anymore, for collages, you're better off starting with a blank file in the editor and the graphics panel.

Here's something to try:
1. Choose the Magic Wand selection tool in the Tools panel.
2. Set the Tolerance pretty high - e.g., 50 - and uncheck [ ] Contiguous.
3. Click the tool in a black letter.
4. Select - Expand, e.g., 3 pixels.
5. Edit - Fill - Content Aware.
It won't be perfect, but you can tidy up the parts that aren't fairly directly...
