How to explain the following scripts?
Please view the following configuration file: Example 3–5 Sample pof-cache-config.cmd File
I want to ask the following questions:
1. Is symbol *@* means this line is comment?
2. Are *:config, :start, :launch* all label?
3. What is the function of setlocal?
4. What is the meaning of the sentence set java_opts="-Xms%memory% -Xmx%memory%"
Example 3–5 Sample pof-cache-config.cmd File
*@*echo off
@rem This will start a cache server
setlocal
*:config*
@rem specify the Coherence installation directory
set coherence_home=c:\oracle\product\coherence
@rem specify the JVM heap size
set memory=512m
*:start*
if not exist "%coherence_home%\lib\coherence.jar" goto instructions
if "%java_home%"=="" (set java_exec=java) else (set java_exec=%java_
home%\bin\java)
*:launch*
set java_opts="-Xms%memory% -Xmx%memory%"
set coherence_opts="-Dtangosol.coherence.log.level=9
-Dtangosol.coherence.cacheconfig=C:/home/oracle/labs/lab4-cache-config.xml"
"%java_exec%" -server -showversion "%java_opts%" "%coherence_opts%" -cp
"%coherence_

com.tangosol.net.DefaultCacheServer %1
goto exit
:instructions
echo Usage:
echo ^<coherence_home^>\bin\pof-cache-server.cmd

Thank you very much

How do I add a txt file to read from in the following script
First thanks for the help, PS newbie.
I need to add a txt file that has the Exchange aliases listed to the below file. So if the .txt file is sitting in c:\temp\readme.txt how do I incorporate into the following script. Given, I only want the outcome to read from only the txt file.
$mailboxes = Get-Mailbox -RecipientTypeDetails UserMailbox
ForEach ($mailbox in $mailboxes) {
$FilePath = "\\server\folder\" + $mailbox.PrimarySmtpAddress.Local + "@" + $mailbox.PrimarySmtpAddress.Domain + ".pst"
New-MailboxExportRequest -mailbox $mailbox -FilePath $FilePath
Thank you for your time.
ChrisThank you -
You're welcome.
I need to make sure that when the user from the list is exported to .pst it is named with their primary smtp address? Will the above code do so?
No, it won't. This adjustment will take that into account:
$aliasList = Get-Content .\aliasList.txt
foreach ($alias in $aliasList) {
$mbx = Get-Mailbox $alias
$filePath = "\\server\folder\$($mbx.PrimarySmtpAddress).pst"
New-MailboxExportRequest -Mailbox $alias -FilePath $filePath -WhatIf

How to install the Leander Script
I do not understand how to install the Leander Script that I received as a gfit with my purchase of Adobe. The instructors say navigate to the folder where the fonts are. Then it says to select the fonts. I do not see how to select the fonts, then right click the fonts and choose install. I do not see these aspects of the instructions.

Edited by: jetq on Jun 24, 2009 6:26 PMHi Frank,
In the example, the "{cache-name}" is supposed to be replaced by the database's table or view name that will be queried for the data to be cached. It's purpose is demonstrate how to pass parameters to the class constructor.

The previous reply will help you find all you need to know.
Does *(int)* means that (temp ^ (temp >>> 32) return the int format?"format" refers to how a value is converted to text. (Sometimes how it is to be parsed as well)
"(int)" casts the long value to an int value (signed 32-bit)
long temp = Double.doubleToLongBits(salary);
result = PRIME * result + (int) (temp ^ (temp >>> 32));This will treat -0.0 as being different to 0.0. If this is undesirable, you can do something like...
long temp = aDouble != +0.0d ? Double.doubleToLongBits(aDouble) : 0L;
result = PRIME * result + (int) (temp ^ (temp >>> 32)); -

How to view the DDL script prior to object deployment in OWB 10g R2?
How to view the DDL script prior to object deployment in OWB 10g R2?
Here is what I' looking for: in 10gR2, let's say I've built dimension X, but it's not deployed yet. I've selected one of the deployment options, let's say: "Deploy to Catalog only". Now, I'd like to see a DDL script that will be executed at the deployment time. Where can I find this script? What screen? What menu?
Thanks,
vrViewing the Scripts
After you have generated scripts for your target objects, you can open the scripts and
view the code. Warehouse Builder generates the following types of scripts:
■ DDL scripts: Creates or drops database objects.
■ SQL*Loader control files: Extracts and transports data from file sources.
■ ABAP scripts: Extracts and loads data from SAP systems.
To view the generated scripts:
1. From the Generation Results window, select an object in the navigation tree on the
left of the Generation Results dialog.
2. Select the Scripts tab on the right of this dialog.
The Scripts tab contains a list of the generated scripts for the object you selected.
3. Select a specific script and click the View Code button.

Thank you very muchHello,
That is part of very low level diagnostics message.
The size is is how many members in that set.
The BitSetCount=2 means that 2 32b integers were required to represent the memberset on the wire.

Thank youHi Frank,
in this example the Customer is the Java class of objects which are put into a cache and is not Coherence specific at all. This is just the return type similarly to how a (stored) function in Oracle may return a row-type containing multiple values.
The return is a Java keyword which in a non-void method instructs the JVM to return the value of the expression following it from the method as the method return value if an expression follows it, and in a void method it simply returns from the method (no return value in this case, similarly to stored procedures).
Sorry for my saying so, really no offense intended, but judging from your questions you might want to attend at least a beginners Java course.

How to explain the business requirement of a file to rfc scenario
Hello Experts,
How do i explain the business requirement of
1. FILE TO IDOC.
2. FILE TO RFC.
3. FILE TO JDBC scenarios?
Cud anybody explain me how to explain the requirement of these scenarios in an interview?Cud u pls send me the example for these and the systems involved and the documents involved...helpful answers will be rewarded...
cheers
Jay.
my mail : [email protected]<b>1. FILE TO IDOC</b>.
When u have ur master data stored in a file thru a legacy system say in some xml format then u may need to have this scenario configured.
<b>2. FILE TO RFC.</b>
Consider pt1 but here for example consider delete scenario. when u have deleted the mater/transaction u may need to update another file...so in this case u will need to config this scenario...y we cannot use idoc is becoz sync scneario is not possible with idoc but yes with rfc
<b>3. FILE TO JDBC scenarios?</b>
u have some business data extracted from a file and before u update a r3 transaction u may need to refer a datbase table to read some data baed on keyfield...so u will take a jdbc response and based on that u may validate with the data for r3 updation.
the scenario keeps varying in real life and the above are very few examples of the kind of scenario that would exists in the business world -
