How to export data in export parameter

Hi,
I have written the below code. Now i want to export data into an export parameter which is a structure.
tables: t005t  , t005.
data: BEGIN OF ty_countrylist occurs 100,
        landx like t005t-landx,
        intca like t005-intca,
        END OF ty_countrylist.
SELECT t005tlandx t005intca   into CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE ty_countrylist
  from T005t
  INNER JOIN t005 on ( t005tland1 = t005land1 ).
Can some one suggest how can that be done. The export parameter is a structure with two elments.
T_EX_COUNTRY---1)LANDX- LANDX[CHAR(15)] and 2) ISOCODE- INTCA[CHAR(2)].
I have tried creating internal table and work areas but it didnt work.

That is, i am trying to put the fetched data into an internal table and then reading the internal table into a work area and finally then that work area is appended to the export parameter.

Hello,
What is the functionality of your FM?
I see there are no import parameters to the FM, only export.
Also ZCONTRY is a structure. Then you have to create a Table Type for ZCONTRY in SE11 to use T_EX_COUNTRY as a table.
Else declare T_EX_COUNTRY as tables parameters.
T_EX_COUNTRY     LIKE     T005T
FUNCTION Z_COUNTRYLIST_GET.
*"*"Local Interface:
*"  TABLES
*"      T_EX_COUNTRY STRUCTURE  T005T
ENDFUNCTION.
Can you plz clarify?

    Hi,
Set the BUFFER parameter to a high value (e.g. 2Mb — entered as an integer "2000000") Set the RECORDLENGTH parameter to a high value (e.g. 64Kb — entered as an integer "64000") Use DIRECT=yes (direct mode export) Stop unnecessary applications to free-up resources for your job are some techniques you can follow to speed up expdp jobs.
    Best regards,

  • How to Append Date to Export Dump file name

    hi everyone,
    This is 10g on Windows.
I want my dump file name to reflect the date it was ran on. I'm using the Job Scheduler tool in Database Control.
So when I try EXPSSU%date.DMP as the dump file name, I get error "dump file name "EXPSSU%d.DMP" contains an invalid substitution variable ."
what is the correct syntax? I dont care about the formatting of the date - whatever the default is will be OK.
    Thanks, John

i have the same problem, any one have the solution?!?!??!

    Hi,
check whether is it populating when u call
    Function Module  - PYX X_READ_PAYROLL_RESULT .
    If not Use this Marcro.
    RP-IMP-C2-IN.
Call this macro and check EPF[ ].This marco will populate both RT and EPF.
    Check transaction - PC00_M40_ EPF
    Cheers,

  • How can I use the data pump export from external client?

I am trying to export a bunch of table from a DB but I cant figure out how to do it.
I dont have access to a shell terminal on the server itself, I can only login using TOAD.
I am trying to use TOAD's Data Pump Export utility but I keep getting this error:
ORA-39070: Unable to open the log file.
ORA-39087: directory name D:\TEMP\ is invalid
I dont understand if its because I am setting the parameter file wrong or if the utility is trying to find that directory on the server whereas I am thinking its going to dump it to my local filesystem where that directory exists.
I'd hate to have to use SQL Loader to create ctl files for each and every table...
    Here is my parameter file:
    DUMPFILE="db_export.dmp"
    LOGFILE="exp_db_export.log"
    DIRECTORY="D:\temp\"
    TABLES=ACCOUNT
    CONTENT=ALL
(just trying to test it on one table so far...)

ORA-39070: Unable to open the log file.
ORA-39087: directory name D:\TEMP\ is invalidDirectory here it should not be physical location, its a logical representation.
For that you have to create a directory from SQL level, like create directory exp_dp..
then you have to use above created directory as DIRECTORY=exp_dp

  • How-to list the contents of a Data Pump Export file?

How can I list the contents of a 10gR2 Data Pump Export file? I'm looking at the Syntax Diagram for Data Pump Import and can't see a list-only option.
    Regards,
    Al Malin

use the parameter SQLFILE in the impdp which writes all the sql ddl's to the specified file.
    http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14215/dp_import.htm
    SQLFILE
    Default: none
    Purpose
Specifies a file into which all of the SQL DDL that Import would have executed, based on other parameters, is written.
    Syntax and Description
    SQLFILE=[directory_object:]file_name
The file_name specifies where the import job will write the DDL that would be executed during the job. The SQL is not actually executed, and the target system remains unchanged. The file is written to the directory object specified in the DIRECTORY parameter, unless another directory_object is explicitly specified here. Any existing file that has a name matching the one specified with this parameter is overwritten.
Note that passwords are not included in the SQL file. For example, if a CONNECT statement is part of the DDL that was executed, it will be replaced by a comment with only the schema name shown. In the following example, the dashes indicate that a comment follows, and the hr schema name is shown, but not the password.
    -- CONNECT hr
Therefore, before you can execute the SQL file, you must edit it by removing the dashes indicating a comment and adding the password for the hr schema (in this case, the password is also hr), as follows:
    CONNECT hr/hr
For Streams and other Oracle database options, anonymous PL/SQL blocks may appear within the SQLFILE output. They should not be executed directly.
    Example
The following is an example of using the SQLFILE parameter. You can create the expfull.dmp dump file used in this example by running the example provided for the Export FULL parameter. See FULL.
    impdp hr/hr DIRECTORY=dpump_dir1 DUMPFILE=expfull.dmpSQLFILE=dpump_dir2:expfull.sql
A SQL file named expfull.sql is written to dpump_dir2.

  • How to wite message into export parameter on fm

    Hi experts
I have some code that will return sy-subrc = 5. when this occurs  i have a message to show. My question is how to write that on export parameter,
    CASE l_subrc.
    WHEN 0.
    WHEN 5.
MESSAGE e034(lr) WITH pernr profile date.
    ENDCASE.
    For example:
e_message = MESSAGE e034(lr) WITH pernr profile date.(message that is in it.)
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Declare the a parameter name of 'o_message'  in Export paramters of type 'Table type' that has  a structure of fields Message Type, Message id, message number and message text.
Then in your program write like this:
    CASE l_subrc.
    WHEN 0.
    WHEN 5.
            wa_message-type = 'E'.
            wa_message-id = 'XXX.
            wa_message-mess_num = '034'.
            MESSAGE ID wa_message-id TYPE wa_message-type
NUMBER wa_message-mess_num WITH pernr profile date INTO wa_message-message.
            APPEND wa_message TO o_message.
    ENDCASE.
So any no of messages can be appended to o_message table in the FM and you can loop through this o_message table to display the error messages from the FM.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • How to export data from webdynpro to Excel and start a Excel macro

    Hello All
I want to export data displayed in the Web dynpro ALV into Excel. I have tried the ALV export function but my problem with it is when it does export to excel the data loses formatting and I have long text in columns which display with wrapping in ALV but when exported to excel it loses formatting.
So I want to define a custom button and when user presses on this button the excel export is called with a macro. Can you kindly share ideas how I can do this from a webdynpro.
    Thanks
    Karen

    Hi friends!
    I have followed the following:
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs;jsessionid=(J2EE3417300)ID1487994050DB10407586481486749551End?blog=/pub/wlg/5522
...in order to create standard ALV with Export to Excel.
However what is exported into excel is awful. It does not contain my data in nice columns... Instead it shows a lot of meta-data.
Please let me know what to do to kick the standard Export button in the correct direction.. that is...to have my nice table in same way in Excel, because that is my intention with "Export to excel"

  • How to export data from MS Project 2010 to MS Excel 2010 with formatting

I have created a Project 2010 export map to Excel 2010.  It works fine.  I have two questions that I cannot determine an answer.  I'm not sure if its a project or excel setting.  I have spend hours trying to make it
    work with little success.
    1.  When the task name field is exported to excel it losses summary/task indent.  Is there a way to set it up so it works via the export map?
    2.  The Start & Finish fields in project is setup as 5/26/11 when they exports to excel it shows up as 5/26/11 8:00 AM.  Is there a way to set it up either in project export map or excel so its formated as a date field.
Excel's Format Cell function does not seem to work converting them back to just 5/26/11.
How can I keep the outlines and formatting in my data while exporting it to Excel.
    I would appreciate any guidance.

    Two things I would recommend:
Do not add your question at the end of a post that is marked as Answered.  In the future, please post your question as a new question so that everyone will notice it and be able to answer it.
Because this is a programming question, please repost your question as a new post in the Project Customization and Programming user forum at:
