How to export database in one line query in command Prompt. Again i explain Single Line Query. I have some Problem in it.

Hi
It comes bundled with 10g DB Software so when you install your DB software it is automatically installed and available to you.

  • How to export database schema?

    I'm running a developer SQL Server 2012 Express version on my PC. I've restored a sample .bak database to this server. How or is there a way to export out the database schema or how all of the tables are interconnected/linked together out?

    hi,
    you can generate the DDL of the objects in your database using SQL Server Management Studio... select your database node, rx click, "Tasks->Generate Script"... the "Generate and Publish script" wizard will prompt you... in the "Set Scripting Options"
    task, you can access the "Advanced" dialog, where you can interact a little on "how" the output will be generated..
    as regards the "way" to understand how the objects are "interconnected", you can access the "Database Diagram" dialog... create a new one for your database, add all desired/required objects, and they will be "rendered" as objects on a window showing all
    relationships (in the meaning of SQL relationships) among them... this feature is not as powerfull as in full comercial tools like erWin or the like, but it's a nice one..

    I am not seeing where you actually get the image from the db to Excel ...... all what you are doing is passing a file name, but did you already download the file to client machine? if so, consider giving full path instead of file name only !

  • How to export database thru sapinst tools

    Hi All,
    We are going for unicode conversion of our 4.7 systems, i found that DB have to be exported thru Sapinst tool . How can i start this export and where can i found sapinst tool for DB export.
    Any suggestions plz..
    Thanks in advance.
    Subhash.G

    Hi,
    make sure to read the "UNICODE Conversion Guide" you find in the SAPNet (Path: SAP NetWeaver -> SAP NetWeaver in Detail -> Application Platform -> ABAP Technology -> Internationalization -> Unicode Conversion Guides).
    There you will also find appropriate Checklists.
    Check out if you have a single Code Page system or e.g. a MDMP system (using multiple codepages). MDMP system conversion to Unicode is much more complicated. You may have to build up a vocabulary for your texts in different languages / codepages that are stored in tables without language key column (SPRAS).

    Edited by: user3523292 on Nov 14, 2008 5:43 AMThis is a forum of volunteers. There is no "urgent" here. Nevertheless, a google search of 'xml oracle export' quickly lead me to this Oracle site:
    otn.oracle.com/sample_code/tech/xml/index.html
    I also see lots of hits when I search the documentation library at tahiti.oracle.com for 'xml'. This one in particular may be what you are looking for:

  • How to export/import database from tools menu in sql developer.

    Hi,
    I need to export database from a server and import it on another db server using the export database function under tools menu in SQL developer. How do I import it? This is for Oracle 10g database.
    Thanks

    Depends what are you trying to do? Are you making a database copy or just creating an empty schemea or creating schema with the data?
    With 10g, you have also options of using datapump (expdp/impdp) and conventional export/import which is very usefule and easy to use when it comes to create a clone (duplicate schema) or an export/import of some objects.
    If you right click on table object, you have options of export ddl/export data and import data but thats different thant what expdp/impdp or conventional export/import provides. For very small database you can use sqldeveloper but consider
    using other above mentioned options. Hope this helps

  • How to export a user and their schema from one 10g database to another?

    Hi,
    I would like to export a user and their entire schema from one 10g database to another one. How do I do this?
    thx
    adam

    If you want to export a user and the schema owned to the user, and import to the same user in a different database, or a different user in the same database, you can use the exp and imp commands as described in the Utilities manual.
    These commands are very versatile and have a lot of options - well worth learning properly. To give you a simplistic shortcut, see below - I create a user 'test_move', create some objects in the schema, export, create a new user in the database 'new_move' and import.

    There are many variations on the theme ...
    You can simplify this. You can select tables individually. You can use a parameter file. You can transport all the constraints and data. You can skip the data and only move the definitions. You can get some help (imp/exp help=yes).
    And, if it's all 10g, there is a new and improved facility called expdp/impdp (dp = data pump) which has a lot more capability as well, including direct transfer (no intermediate file) together with suspend/restart. Also documented in the Utilities manual.

  • Help: How to forbiden Export utilities to export database?

    Hi all,
    How to forbiden Export utilities to export database?
    Thanks
    Eric David

    please find the required Process ID of the exp job by using the following command :
    $ ps -ef|grep exp
    After finding it kill the pid (assuming PID as 3388) :
    $ kill -9 3388 --- where 3388 is the PID
    I thought it was regarding the process killing...My word misunderstood it...You cannot disable EXP/IMP utility because it comes with the oracle software itself...if you dont want any one to take the export then revoke those privileges from the required users...
    Cheers!

  • How to export r12 vision database

    hi,
    i want to export r12 vision database. tried to do it with apps/apps@sysdba but it is showing "invalid privileges". Same error with sys/manager & system/manager.
    Is password correct  for sys & system?
    Can anyone help with steps for how to export r12 vision database?
    Thanks,

    You need to connect as sysdba or system to export the database -- Export/import process for 12.0 or 12.1 using 11gR1 or 11gR2 (Doc ID 741818.1)
    The password for both SYS and SYSTEM in the Vision Demo is manager -- http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18727_01/doc.121/e12842/T422699i4783.htm
    If the password is incorrect, source the database env file and issue:
    $ sqlplus / as sysdba
    SQL> alter user system identified by <new password>;
    SQL> alter user sys identified by <new password>;
    Thanks,

  • How to export and import on another computer whole database connection

    Hi
    how to export and import on another computer whole database connection with all contents ?
    step by step

    From the "source" computer do this:
    1) Open SQLDeveloper.
    2) Right click on the main connections node and choose export connections.
    3) Select the connections you want exported and choose a file name and location to save them.
    4) Save the file by clicking OK then copy it to the destination PC.
    On the "destination" PC assuming you have already installed SQLDeveloper do this:
    1) Open SQLDeveloper.
    2) Right click on the main connections node and choose import connections.
    3) Browse to the connections file you copied earlier and select the connection you saved.
    4) Complete the import by clicking OK and you are done.
    Mind that this is sufficient only if you have only basic connections, if you have TNS connections you will also need to manually copy the Tnsnames file from the "source" PC to the "destination" PC and set the
    Tools -> Preferences -> Database -> Advanced Tnsnames directory
    to the directory where you copied the Tnsnames file.
