How to export to excel sheet from Oracle APEX 4.0?

Hello,
I'm relatively new to Oracle APEX. I'm in need of a solution to address the above question. I want to export a report's contents to an excel sheet from Oracle APEX(Priority).
The export should be customizable to add entries into the excel sheet as I need(Secondary). Can anybody help?

Or you could use Heterogenous Services to treat Excel as an external database:
1- Go to Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Data Sources (ODBC)>System DSN and create a data source with appropriate driver. Name it EXCL.
2- In %ORACLE_HOME%\Network\Admin\Tnsnames.ora fie add entry:

Dont forget to reload the listener
c:\> lsnrctl reload
4- In %ORACLE_HOME%\hs\admin create init<HS_SID>.ora. For our sid EXCL we create file initexcl.ora.
In this file set following two parameters:
HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = excl
HS_FDS_TRACE_LEVEL = 0
5- Now connect to Oracle database and create database link with following command:
SQL> CREATE DATABASE LINK excl
2 USING 'excl'
3 /
Database link created.
Now you can perform query against this database like you would for any remote database.
SQL> SELECT table_name FROM all_tables@excl;
TABLE_NAME
DEPT
EMP

Excel sheets from Oracle reports

Is there any way to save the ouput of Oracle reports as an excel sheet?
I know it is possible to take the output as a text file and open the file from the Excel sheet. but the file is text, with no layout format, fonts,...
I tried to save it as HTML but when it is open from Excel each character is put on a distinct

I have the same problem. Please let me know if you found a solution. Like you said it is possible to create a comma delimited file from Reports which can then be opened from Excel. Is there an easier way?

How to export all the attachments from Oracle Apps R12?

Our configuration single node EBS R12.0.6, DB 10.2.0.3 & AIX 5.3.7. We are live with ERP since 2009. In our application/database instance, we have hundreds of attachments for the PO and iRecruitment candidates CV's etc. How can we analyze the details of the attachments like fnd_attached_documents table, etc?
Besides, we are planning to implement new document management system. Our management is interested to keep some/all of the uploaded ERP attachments into Document Management System repository. So, my question is how can we export all these attachments from ERP?
Please help me.

This has nothing to do with Oracle Enterprise Manager
SQL Loader is command line and it needs to be installed with SQL PLUS (The wrong install type will not have it)

but if template has more than two tables how can we get excel sheet from tables?

To make Excel sheets from sqlplus, you can use the markup html tag in sqlplus.
Here's an example.

How to open and read Excel Sheet from SharePoint 2013 Document Library using C# Visual Studio 2012

To achieve these are the steps that I had followed :
1. Add the document Library path into Central Admin -> Application Mgmt -> Manage Service App -> Excel Service App -> Trusted File Locations
2. Add Documnet Library link to Trusted Connection Proivder
3. Open Visual Studio as Run as Administrator
4.Create an SharePoint 2013 Empty Project.
5.Add Service Reference : http:\\<server>\_vti_bin/excelservice.asmx
6.Service added successfully
7.Create a class file and add the Service Reference namespace
There is no such class as ExcelService to call.
Please let me know if somebody knows how to open the Excel file into C#(2012) either using ExcelService or any other way to open. I tried old methods of Sharepoint 2010 server but it's not able to access classes.
Requirement is :
Need to read the excel sheet from Document Library and transfer all data into DataTable.
Please help asap.

How to get data to excel sheet from background

Hello Experts,
I have be assigned a task where i have to find out all the reports and the variants containing a ' / '. I have written the code where i am able to scan through the entire list and get a set of reports and the variantsin the internal table. NOW i have to run the code in the background and the entire set of reports and the variants in the internal table to the excel sheet . So how do I do this? I am able to get the data in the excel sheet from the foreground using the FM GUI_download. But this FM does not work in the background.
So what should be the ideal way to do this ?

Hi,
You can write the file into Application server.
OPEN DATASET dataset FOR OUTPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING DEFAULT.
LOOP AT it_itab INTO wa_itab.
TRANSFER wa_itab TO dataset.
ENDLOOP.
CLOSE DATASET dataset
use CG3Y transaction to download file from app server to presentation server.

How i can load excel sheet into a table in oracle through pl/sql procedure or a pl/sql block. Excel sheet is saved on my c or d drive on my machine. In xls format.

Depending on how big your spreadsheet is and how frequently you want to do this you might want to contruct insert statements in excel, then run these. I have done this to load a few hundred rows for a one off test on dev.
e.g. if you have values 1 and 'a' in you spread sheet and want to insert them in to table xxx col1 & 2:
| /|   A   |   B   |    C
|1 |col1   |col2   |
|2 |      1|a      |="insert into xxx ("&$A$1&","&B1&") values ("&A2&",'"&B2&"');"then paste the contents of colum C
insert into xxx (col1,col2) values (1,'a');into sqlplus or a script.

Here the excel sheet is in server side.i want to do get the excel sheet values (only some part of the excel sheet based on some conditions) from server side into j2me.In j2me I want to done some client side validation based on the formula of excel sheet.Then i resend the new updated data to the server.
