How to fetch all properties with ejb3

I have need to fetch all properties in a Query when loading Entity EJB's in ejb3.0. This is because I'm going to detach the entities from the EntityManager, but want all the properties to be loaded. I have some entities that have simple fields that are normally fetched lazily (BLOBs and CLOBs). I also have relationships to other entities that would also normally be fetched lazily. Finally, I'm trying to do this in generic code that looks like this:
Query q = manager.createQuery("select o from " + variableNameOfOrmClass + " o");
List l = q.getResultList();
So, I can't really name the relationships and do a FETCH JOIN... but rather, I just want to tell the query to "fetch all properties". I also don't want to for EAGER fetching because the majority case is that I'm not going to detach objects from the EntityManager.
Is there a simply way to tell EJBQL (EJB3.0) to fetch all properties at the query time?

In this forum, I asked if there is a way to fetch all properties at query time. In the other, I asked if there is a way to force a load of all unfetched properties on an entity, or better yet, a collection of entities, that I've previously queried. Similar, but not the same.

If the emails have been previously deleted (I.e. in the trash folder), tap Edit at the top of the list. You should see a delete all button at the bottom. If the messages are in a standard folder, they need to be handled one at a time.

  • How to get all properties for an item with search?

How can I get all crawled / managed properties back of an item with the search API (REST, client, or server)?
Currently I am only aware of specifying the applicable properties specifcally by using the selectproperties parameters via REST:
    http://host/site/_api/search/query?querytext='terms'&selectproperties='Path,Url,Title,Author'
    (taken from http://blogs.msdn.com/b/nadeemis/archive/2012/08/24/sharepoint-2013-search-rest-api.aspx)
I don't want to do this. I just want to get all properties back that
are associated with the search results.

Its my understanding that standard managed properties will be returned, like: Created Date, Last Date Modified, Author, Title, etc.  However, if you need more than that you will need to specify the properties to return.
This blog post also has a similar thought process:

  • How to fetch all the records from ztable

    Hi
    My program is outbound program.
According to the requirement i have to fetch all the records from ztable which are not tranmitted before to the third party and once the records are extracted and written to output file they will be marked as 'X' in the "status" field of that ztable for the next days run.
How to fetch the records. Please suggest me.
    Thanks,
    Neelima

    HI,
Fetch all the records whose status is equal to 'X' as whatever data is sent to third party system is marked as 'X' in status field of table after sending.
You need to first fetch the data into internal table using the select statement where status EQ space. You get the data which is not yet transmitted to third part. And later in the program after trasmitting the data to third party modify the Records in the DB table which are transmitted with Staus eq 'X'.

  • How to fetch a row with maximum rownum

In my sql query, how can i fetch the row with max row count? the query has around 10 columns.
    Thank You
    KK

    Hi,
It's not very clear what you want.
It sounds like you want a Top=-N Query , perhaps like this:
    WITH     got_row_cnt     AS
         SELECT       job
         ,       COUNT (*)                         AS row_cnt
    --     ,       ...  -- other columns
,       RANK () OVER (ORDER BY  COUNT (*) DESC)     AS rnk
         FROM       scott.emp
         GROUP BY  job
SELECT     *     -- or list all columns except rnk
    FROM     got_row_cnt
    WHERE     rnk     = 1
Whenever you have a problem, please post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) from all tables involved.
Also post the results you want from that data, and an explanation of how you get those results from that data, with specific examples.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using (for example, 11.2.0.2.0).

  • How to fetch iView Properties within a Role?

    Hi,
I have Role-A. PCD path of this role is known. With this information, programmatically I should be able to fetch a few properties of all the iViews within this Role. An iView can be at any level with in this Role-A ( like RaleA- Workset-Page-iView or Role-Page-iView) . Is it possible to fetch the properties dynamically? Do we have APIs to do this? Any help is much appreciated.
    Regards,
    Nag.

A Good starting point is this:
Browse Roles, Folders, Pages & iViews assigned to a user: EP6 SP2
Once you get the iView object it's not difficult to get the properties.
    Thanks

  • SQL batch doesn't work; How to fetch related objects with fetch group?

    I have two questions:
    1. SQL Batch doesn't seem to work. I have tested some batch object creation
with BatchLimit set to -1, 0, 1, 25, 100. They all have similar
    performance.
    kodo.jdbc.DBDictionary: BatchLimit=25
    2. How to use custom fetch group to fetch related objects? The example of
custom fetch group only show how to fetch different attributes in different
groups. I have a test cases where I would like to pre-fetch related objects
    to save round trip.

    Hi,
I have two technical questions with Kodo.
    1. SQL Batch doesn't seem to work. I have tried batch size of -1, 0, 1,25.
But the performance from batch creating objects is not affected by batch
    size.
kodo.jdbc.DBDictionary: BatchLimit=25You may be running into a bug in the Oracle 9.2 driver. That driverdoesn't
reliably give update counts when using batching and prepared statement
caching. By default, Kodo will turn off batching. You can manuallyenable
batching by setting the BatchLimit on your DBDictionary, as you've done.If
you do this, though, you may want to turn off prepared statement cachingby
    setting MaxCachedStatements to 0 (see
    http://www.solarmetric.com/Software/Documentation/3.1.0RC1/docs/ref_guide_dbsetup.html#ref_guide_dbsetup_builtin).

    2. How to use custom fetch groups to eagerly fetch related persistable
objects? Example only showed attributes, not relationships. You can find information on setting up eager fetching of relations at
    http://www.solarmetric.com/Software/Documentation/3.0.3/docs/ref_guide_
    perfpack_eager.html
Basically, you'll need to add the relations to your fetch group, and
    set the eager fetching mode.

  • How to fetch all the records

    Hello everybody,
I am currently working on SQL Developer for the couple of weeks. I have specific need to check, how much time one query take to fetch all the records. Currently it can fetch only 50 records and when scroll then next 50 records and so on.
Can anybody tell me, how to set this to fetch full records
    Regards,
    Martand M Joshi

    Martand,
There's no setting to fetch all records. You wouldn't like SQL Developer to fetch for minutes on big tables anyway.
If, for 1 specific table, you want to fetch all records, you can do Control-End in the results pane to go to the last record. You could time the fetching time yourself, but that will vary on the network speed and congestion, the program (SQL*Plus will be quicker than SQL Dev because it's more simple), etc.
Now, what I think you really want here, is getting the execution time. If you really want to analyze the query's performance, you'd have to use the explain plan, autotrace and tkprof (see the manual for tuning and performance).
To make us life easier, the makers of SQL Developer included support of the explain plan, and as of v1.1, autotrace!
I'm sure you've got enough to work things out from here...
    Regards,
    K.

  • How to fetch all the contact fields using Office365 REST API

When I request for Contacts using webservices URL, Office365 returns only some specific fields (even though contact record has lot more fields). Is there any way so that I can fetch all the fields in contact record?

Currently the REST APIs are limited to the fields you see now. We're constantly working to add more features though, so that might come in the future.
