How to find a nearest node in a spatial network?

hi, friends,
Are there any similar function as sdo_topp_map.get_nearest_work() in oracle network package?
Now I only have a location rather than a node, are there any methods to find the nearest node in the network? so I could continue use SDO_NET_MEM.NETWORK_MANAGER.SHORTEST_PATH_DIJKSTRA() to ge the shortest path.
Thanks!

The network model network analysis comes since 11.1 or 11.2 with support for dynamic segmentation, meaning that the path analysis does not need to start or end at an explicit node, but can start or end anywhere on a link.
This gives you 2 options either as you requested, search the closest node, if that is still what you are after
Or
From your point, find the nearest link, and the "projected" location of your point to that link. While doing so, you should get a measure (percentage factor between 0 and 1) which expresses the relative position on the link from the start point.
For option 1. use the proposed solution from Farid
For option 2. apply the same SDO_NN approach, but do that for the link table (finding the nearest link first), rather then the nearest node.
Then you can get the measure using either:
SDO_LRS.FIND_MEASURE
Or
- http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e11831/sdo_net_ref.htm#autoId55
SDO_NET.GET_PERCENTAGE
Or
- http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e11829/oracle/spatial/network/Link.html#computeDistanceRatio_double__double_
computeDistanceRatio(double x, double y)
With that measure you can apply the shortest path using the link Id and the additional measure factor as the start parameters:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e11829/oracle/spatial/network/NetworkManager.html#shortestPath_oracle_spatial_network_Network__int__double__int__oracle_spatial_network_NetworkConstraint_
shortestPath(Network network, int startLinkID, double startPercentage, int endNodeID, NetworkConstraint constraint)
Again, it all depends on what your use case is. I hope this helps.

  • How to find Last Child (Node) of a parent

    Hi All
    I have following data:
    PARENT CHILD
    1 2

    4 5
    100 101
    101 102

    Parent Final Child
    1 5
    100 102
    200 201
    300 304
Which means, for the parent, it should start with immediate child and traverse through all subsequent parent-child relation ship and should find at ending with the last child for that group.
When the parent child relation is as below: i need to output 1 (first parent in the group) & 5 (last child in the group)
    1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5

  • :   How to find the system(machine) in the domain (network)

    Hi Everybody,
Can some tell me how can i find the machines(system's computer's ip address)that are their in the network.
Iam developing a small program in Java, which i want to know the m/c's that are there in the network (or domain).
well anything even with ntive program that gives me all the ip's or m/c name as return will do.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Amit

I have not tried this in java, but the theory is the following:
In IP: if you want to receive response from all machines in your network, you would do the following:
(I will take a class C network as example)
    Network: 192.168.1.0
Ping 192.168.1.255 (this is the broadcast address).
This way, all machines should respond. I think it is the ICMP protocol you use to do this.
The other solution (not Ethernet, and I think impossible with java) is to make a layer 2 (data link layer) broadcast rather than a IP (layer 3) broadcast. This can be done with a special MAC address code used to broadcast.
However, the first method should work for you, now the big question. How to use ICMP in java?

  • How to find nearest point on polyline

    Hi,
I have to find the nearest point to my standing point on a polyline. I have Oracle Locator installed, but my data is not in a locator format. Is it possible to do this by using Locator's functionality by for example puting the polyline and standing point coordinate values into a spatial type variable and calling some locator functionality?
Or I have to coordinate data into a "spatial enabled" table, create spatial index etc and then call some Locator procedure.

    Luc,
    Thanks for the reference.
When the data is converted, finding the nearest vertex in an sdo_geometry object could be done this way (of, of course, many):
    select f.vertex_id,f.dist,f.min_dist,f.a_vertex
      from (select p.vertex_id,
                   sdo_geom.sdo_distance(p.the_point,p.a_vertex,0.005) as dist,
min(sdo_geom.sdo_distance(p.the_point,p.a_vertex,0.005)) over (order by sdo_geom.sdo_distance(p.the_point,p.a_vertex,0.005) asc) as min_dist,
                   p.the_point,
                   p.a_vertex
              from (select t.id as vertex_id,
                           mdsys.sdo_geometry(2001,NULL,mdsys.sdo_point_type(358615,5407047,null),null,null) as the_point,
                           mdsys.sdo_geometry(2001,NULL,mdsys.sdo_point_type(t.x,t.y,t.z),null,null) as a_vertex

  • Tcode FV50: How to find long text in FI Document line item Before Saving.

    Hi,
How to find long text in FI Document line item.
During Parking of the FI document through Tcode FV50 i m giving the some text in the long text not in the text field.
I would like to validate the Long Text Before Saving in user exit "U300" under  the  "Sunstitution" .
Please anybody can be help me out where exactly this long text is going to be stored or in which internal table or memory id.
Please give me the answer as soon as possible .
Note:- Read_Text function module is not useful. Because Read_text useful after saving document.

    Hi Amit,
In application area FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING , go for node LINE ITEM. Here create a step & maintain the prerequisite as per your requirement & in the check you can mention the code or you can direct it to a custom program like ZFI_RGGBR000.
Here while maintaining the check you will get structures BKPF & BSEG in which you will get the desired field you are looking for.
Just try to explore in your system how the other validations are maintained.
After you are done with all your code, you have to run the regeneration program RGUGBR00.
Here utmost care should be taken while running regeneration program, you should select all the checkboxes in the selection screen except  GENERATE SETS, GEN SUBSTN ROUTNS IN ALL CLNTS  & TRACE PROG. GENERATE CALLS .
Hope this make your doubt clear.
    Regards

  • Get "404 Not Found" after deployment.  How to find out correct URL?

    To the experienced:
In preparing to deploy my application, I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 to deploy the application to the standalone oc4j server that is included in JDeveloper. After the deployment, I get the "404 Not Found" error when trying to invoke the application in a browser. The deployment looks OK, becasue the log window in JDeveloper showed no error when running deployment from inside JDeveloper. Therefore I guess the question is how to find out the correct URL to invoke the application. The steps I took in doing the deployment are as follows.
I first installed the standalone oc4j by running the <jdev_home>\jdev\bin\start_oc4j .bat file. The installation is OK because I deployed the SRTutorial applcation and invoked it in a browser successfully.
The WAR file was created by right-clicking the ViewController project and select to create a WAR file. To the application's Context Root its own name, I typed "ZB" in the box for the context root.
Then in ViewController -> Resources, right_click the deployment file (ZBOV.deploy) and chose "Deploy to" the local_standalone_oc4j. The messages in JDeveloper's log window for the deployment are all clean without errors.
I then used this url to invoke the deployed application in a browser:
    http://localhost:8888/ZB/faces/staff/login.jspx
But I got an "404 Not Found" error. Right away I tried invoking the SRTutorial application, and it runs fine.
login.jspx is one of the pages for the appllication. In the application navigator, it is located with other files in the ViewController/Web Content/staff folder, therefore I used /staff/login.jspx after ZB/faces.
What could be wrong? If the deployment is actually successful, how to find out the correct url to invoke the application?
    Many thanks for your help!
    Newman

    Hi, Arun,
Thank you for the suggestion. I tried it but got the same error.
I tried it by first undeploying the application using the enterprise manager page (which is also part of the oc4j included in JDeveloper). I select the application and clicked the undeploy link, confirmed that I wanted to remove it. And it was removed.
Then in JDeveloper, I right-clicked the ViewController, and in the properties of the probject selected "J2EE Application" and then selected "Use Custom Settings", then in the "J2EE Web Context Root" box I entered "ZB". Created the deployment profile again, overwriting the existing one, and then right-clicked the ZB.deploy node to deploy to the standalone oc4j on the localhost. And I used the url:
    http://localhost:8888/ZB/faces/staff/login.jspx
And I got the same "404 Not Found" error.
There was no error at the time of deployment using the ZB.deploy profile. On the enterprise manager page, the path of the deployed application is given as /C:/jdev10134/j2ee/home/applications/ZB.ear, and the folder of the deployed application is there. Question is: if the deployment is actually OK, can the correct URL be found in some file somewhere in the folder?
All ideas and suggestions are very much appreciated!

    hi
goto tx genil_model_browser. Suppose you want to find fields reated to your order header eg sold to name. In component set write all and press F8. Then goto access object and in access object click on node BTAdminH. Click on attribute structure. Here you will find structure and attributes. If you click relationship then you will see all the relationship wrt btadminh. open any r/s that you require. and click on other object and attribute. You will get to know the structure.

  • How to find the user exits and BADIS from SPRO

    Hi all,
please let us know how to find the User exits or BADIS for an application from SPRO.
    Regards,
    Madhavi

    Hi Varisetty,
Finding user exits and BAdis from SPRO can be cumbsersome. In most instances you know the standard SAP program and want to check (find) an exit called in the flow of the transaction. You can do this as follows:
    For User Exit:
Put "/h" in the command box (to start debugging)
    Execute your transaction
When you enter debugging - put a breakpoint at statement
    CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION
the control will stop at all calls to User Exits
    For BAdi (it's simpler)
Go to class CL_EXITHANDLER in SE24
    Enter method GET_INSTANCE
Put a breakpoint in this method
Run your standard transaction - control will stop at all BAdis called within the flow since this method is used to check BAdi implementations before invoking them
Also, if you want to find enhancements by package - go to SE80, enter the package and check function groups starting with X - those contain function exits (conventional user exits). For BAdis in a package, there is normally a separate tree node (under the package) for Enhancements hence clearly identifiable.
    Cheers,
    Adi
