How to find EXIT where a Extension is getting filled?

Hi All,
I have a IDoc extension and its segments are getting filled from an EXITs, Since this IDoc is getting triggered by output type so only use EXITs to fill the custom segments.
Please guide me how to find the EXIT where segment of this extension is getting filled.
I have following information:
Message Type
Basic Type
Extension
Application class
Message code

Nooruddin,
If you have a TS, that is the easiest way
In case not, there are 2 other ways that I would follow.
1. Set the o/p type to process immediately in further options.
Activate debugging and the hit SAVE. Also activate update debugging.
Set a break point using AT STATEMENT and enter "CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION".
The debugger should stop in all the customer exits and you can then figure out by looking at the source code.
2. Find the main FM. For example if your idoc is inbound and used for creation of delivery, then the main FM would be "IDOC*INPUT*DELVRY*.
open the FM and search for call customer-function and check the exits that are implemented and its respective source code.
3. If the exit is a BADI, put a break point while debugging at CALL/GET badi or CL_EXIT_HANDLER->GET INSTANCE method.

Hi friends,
I want to know, where the segments are getting filled for an IDoc. Actually i have failed IDoc's, in that IDoc the segment E1EDS01 the Qualifier is 009 its having 2 fields one is SUMMID its having value of 009 and another one is SUMME its having the value of 4.124.
The requirement is this SUMME value is wrong for selected Idocs. How i debug this? I know the partner profile name, basic type and message type. How i will get the proper include name?
Its an outbound interface.

Hi Mohana,
If you have partner profile, then goto transaction WE20 and search for your message type in Outbound paramters of that partner and double click on it. Then click on the "_Message Control_" tab.
Process code will be defined there it will direct you to Outbound processing Function module. Then you can find your segment inside include of that Function module. (It could be user-exit also)
If you cannot find process code there, then look for corresponding EDI Output type which triggers the outbound Idoc and get the program name through transaction NACE.

127 is not there either change the no or create the same

Are you interested in WDA messages ?
The set a breakpoint in METHODS IN class CL_WDR_MESSAGE_MANAGER.
Then use call stack (default desktop 2 in debugger) to see where message is added to message manager.

How my work will go
Step-1 - I am creating XML FIle which is based on code that we discused before-
Its developing xml file with data in <...inputelement> as u can see in my xml but in <..output> Element of xml its just have all column for exampe <itemoutput>
<FLD NM = "ABC"> 0 </FLD>
<FLD NM = "XYZ:> </FLD> --- for varchar2
</itemoutput>
In 1st stage i am just generating <..INPUT> with its colums and real value from database and <..output> elements will go zero value but with colums name.
Note. I create temp table will all COLUMN which u can see in both in <..ITEMINPUT> and <..ITEMOUTPUT>
Step2.. After Generaing my xml i want to convert my xml data into CLOB not in a file. so clob will go to the VENDOR
STEP3.
I will Recieved again xml data in CLOB from the vendo in <.OUTPUT> ELEMents
for example
I send this format
<itemoutput>
<FLD NM = "ABC"> 0 </FLD>
<FLD NM = "XYZ:> </FLD> --- for varchar2
</itemoutput>
And i will receive it
<itemoutput>
<FLD NM = "ABC VALUE"> 2 </FLD>
<FLD NM = "XYZ TYPE:> SUV</FLD> --- for varchar2
</itemoutput>
So will take this output valu from xml clob and will update my staging table .
Which have the same colum name as its look in xml clob.
Step- 4. I will take this value from staging table and update my original oracle database table. which i send you before.
But u leave this step becaue you dont know the staging table colum maping with original table.

How to find out where an alias is defined

How can I find out where an alias is defined on my system? I am referring to the kind of alias that is used within a Terminal session launched from Mac OS X (10.6.3).
For example, if I enter the alias command with no parameters at a Terminal command prompt, I get a list of aliases that I have set, for example, this is one of them
alias mysql='/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql'
However, I have searched all over my system using Spotlight and mdfind in various startup files and so far can not find where this alias has been defined ( I did it a long time ago and didn't write down where I assigned the alias).

Thank you. I must have missed that before. It looks like the alias definitions in my case are in the file ~/.bash_profile.

How to find out where a value is stored

i entered something in HR Area infotyp 0031, i expected to find those entries in table pa0031, but this table remains empty. How can i find out where sap stores those values?

press F1 on the field where u typed the value. click on technical info and get the table and field name.
in most cases it might be structure. either way, go to se11 and type the table/structure name and then search for the field name in that table.
then dbl click on the data element and click on the where-used button.
now select table entries and start looking for all the tables where the field is present. go to each table and check for the number of table entries and see if the value u entered has been caputred in that table or not.

No, you cannot find out where the computer has been. Find My Mac only shows you were the computer is right now if it is online.
I strongly recommend you change all your internet passwords immediately, notify the police (do not try to recover your MBA yourself), and your insurance company so you can get reimbursed and buy a new Mac. Once you have done all this go back to Find My Mac and click the "Erase" button.

How to find ount where a library symbol is used

Please be patient with me because I'm not very familiar with flash.
I would like to know if there is a way to find out where is a symbol used into a Flash document.
If Symbol A is used by two other symbols (say B and C) is there a way to query the enviroment to know that A is used by B and C?
Does one among Flash MX, CS4 or CS5 have such a feature or not?

among many other things, movie explorer will show you where each and every instance of any library symbol is used.
click the right-most icon on the movie explorer panel and tick both context items. then toggle the 2nd icon only and type your library symbol name. each and every instance of that library symbol with be displayed along with a tree representation of its location. right click over any symbol in movie explorer to get an idea of just how powerful that tool is.
