I have tried using SHD0, with entering Transaction code as VA01 but in that for Transaction variant field there are 5 different transaction variant names are mentioned.

Check what is the transaction variant assigned to your order type.
It is used while creating the order.

Try this sample code. It may help you.
the code below produces alv display with 2 columns: field1 & field2.
field1 is character based & the int. table passed to the alv is sorted on this field.
field2 is numeric, whose subtotals are desired.
so while populating the gt_sort table the option gs_sort-subtot is set for field1 bcoz the subtotals are to be based on the groups existing in this column.whereas the same option is NOT set for field2, even though the subtotal appears in that column.i have marked these 2 statements in the code for your convenience.

How to Group Fields in ALV

Hi,
In My Report I want to group the fields in ALV i found the attribute SP_GROUP to be set with value and the internal table IT_SPECIAL_GROUPS to be passed to set_table_for_first_display method. My requirement is such that i need few fields to be common to multiple groups so can i use multiple value to SP_GROUP attribute while defining field catalog..?? Or any other method is there please suggest me.

now u have legacy data. now u want to do upload this data from legacy to r/3 by using one sap transaction. yes ok na..
first of all u want to know the data is relevant to the which transaction...
without knowing the transaction u cant trasfer the data..
then open transaction put cursor on i/p field and click on f1
and find out the field name & table..
this is one method to find the field name and table name.

AXL: How to find fields needed for AXL command?

You need two things:
1) Grab a copy of the AXL schema from your CUCM - go to http://developer.cisco.com/, then select AXL in the drop down on the right hand column. Once there, hit 'documentation'. Grab the AXL schema download, and while you are at it grab the database schema and XML admin guide.
2) If you arent' clear on the fields/values, then instead of trying an 'add' first, create a route pattern normally in the GUI. Then do a 'getRoutePattern', and look at the XMl that is returned to see what fields are and what values can be entered.

3. use SCRREN FIELD name given in Field desc for batch input.
NOw what to do if SCREEN field name in "Field desc for batch input." is not given...Even During BDC recording if we input values in those fields,values are saved in appropritae tables but not inn BDC recording fields

How to find number of columns used in a ALV variant

I need to know how many column is active ( will be shown in the ALV report ) related to a specific ALV Variant.
Example :
The structure of my internal table has 147 columns.
The user in a specific ALV variant has chosen 25 columns of those 147 colums, so I need to know that this ALV variant will show 25 columns.

Finnally I did the verification at the beginning of my process.
Because I need the information before getting the data, so I called the METHOD with a "dummy" table,
and I received the info of what I need, the number of column related to a specific ALV Variant.
I used :
