How to find JDK bin folder

Hello:
I had just finished to search about how to find JAVA HOME while programming. For this I found this line of code:
String javaHome = System.getProperty("java.home");
I notice this line of code returns me the jre path on mi pc; however, is there any other System property or method which may help me to find JDK bin folder. I mean, I want to access to the java compiler(javac), so I need jdk bin folder.
If this is not posible, can I be sure that "java.home" is always going to return me the jre path??.; in order to only take the characters that correspond to java path and add "bin" to it, so that I can find javac.

If you are running Lion OS, the <User> (Home) folder where MS 2.1.3 stores these files is hidden by default.
The easiest way to get there is using the Finder;Go menu: Hold down Option (Alt) and the Library will show up in the Go Menu.
Once you have the User Library window open, drag it to the Sidebar.
(There are also ways of 'un-hiding' the <User> Library via Terminal etc)
The Mainstage files are in
<User> Library:Application Support:Logic.

How to find list or folder name from SharePoint document URL

I'm implementing the SharePoint client object model in my VSTO application in .NET framework 4.0(C#).
Actually we open MS Word files from SharePoint site, we need to create a folder inside the opened documents list/folder and after it we want to upload/add some files to that created folder.
My problem is that how to get list name/title and folder name of opened document by using the documents URL or Is there an another option to find the list or folder name of opened document.
Any help will be appreciable.

How to find which screen/folder an app is in?

I thought I read this a while ago but can't find it and can't remember...is there a way to find the "location" of an app?
That is, I can use search to find an app to *launch* it. But what if I wanted to e.g. move it or delete it? It can be really hard to figure out what screen/folder an app is in. Is there some sort of command similar to the "open containing folder" type of command on Mac?
If it makes a difference, I'm on IOS 7.

If found in Spotlight, the folder it's in will be show to the right of the app.
If no folder is listed, it's not in a folder, it's on one of the home screens.
Access Spotlight Search by swiping down from the middle of any home screen.

Your mail folder is in the Library inside of your home folder. To make the Library visible go into your Home folder and then select View Opions from under the View menu. In the View Options on the bottom there will be a checkbox there to "Shiw Library Folder". Just check that and you will be abe to see the Library folder.

I was wondering how to Import Bookmarks from an old firefox profile to a new one ? My laptop stopped working but I managed to copy my firefox data from the mozilla appdata folder. I want to now copy my old bookmarks to my new firefox profile on my new laptop. I have tried searching online for guidance but most methods mention a "bookmarksbackups" folder and a "places.sqlite" file. However, I can find no "bookmarksbackups" folder and no "places.sqlite" file. Among the files in profile I am trying to import FROM are a "bookmarks" html file(which seems to only contain the default firefox bookmarks) as well as "places.sqlite-shm" and "places.sqlite-wal" files. Although, the NEW profile on my new laptop I am trying to import TO DOES have a "bookmarksbackups" folder and a "places.sqlite" file.
I would be most grateful for any help received. Many thanks in advance for your help and for your time

After migrating an account to my MacBook Air, it still has its old settings and won't let me find the Applications folder - how do I fix this?

So I just migrated (using the Assistant) my Admin account from my old Powerbook G4 to my MacBook Air (used) , but now it's disregarding its new Trackpad settings (such as scrolling and double finger tapping, etc.) It also won't let me find my Applications folder (I used Finder), whereas the Admin account can, but see back on my old laptop I this account was an Admin. I feel like there's something written that's telling it to behave like it did on the Powerbook. I don't know - me no professional, yo, that's why I'm here. NOTE: Before I migrated, I'd started using the Admin account on here; for example, I signed in with my appleid since I figured the accounts could be merged - guess not. A family member's been helping me, but I wanted feedback from the forum.

How are you attempting this copy?
There's almost certainly a way to accomplish what you want to do (probably best from the terminal possibly copying the entire user dir and fixing up permissions, etc.) but I'm not sure you will end up with the results you want. There are plists in the preferences dir that you probably don't want to copy over (e.g., many of the com.apple.* prefererences). And many apps also create more than just plists. There may be stuff in Application Support, LaunchAgents, Internet Plug-Ins, etc.). And this would be stuff you do want to copy. Bottom line is it is not a trivial exercise which is probably why the system is slapping your hands for even attempting it

How do I get User to show Library then I can get to my long lost document?

The auto recovery dat should be in the Microsoft User Data folder in your documents folder, not in the Library. However, I Haven't had to look recently.
