    hi all,
how to find the File name using the FTP Adapter with BPEL.
    Regards

    Found the solution for this.
First In the mediator's routing rule use assign property $in.property.jca.file.FileName to $out.property.jca.file.FileName
In the BPEL's receive activity go to the properties tab and get the property to a BPEL variable. That should do it.

  • How to find the database name?

    Hi,
I have a little problem with my database under DB2.
I acces this database through the ODBC with the name TESTALIAS, but the real name of the database is TEST. So what I need to find out is if there is a possibility to get the real name of the database.
I used the com.ibm.db.DatabaseConnection class for the connection, but there seems nothing to indicate me the real name of this database.
Have you any idea??? maybe another class that do this?
    thanks,
    alina

if somebody is interested in, the following SQL Statement gets the real database name out and not the alias:
    SELECT CURRENT SERVER FROM one_table_name
I don't know if the register CURRENT SERVER work for all DB environment, but for DB2 ist does.
    cheers,
    alina

  • How to find out database name

    Hi
can anyone please tell me how i can find out the database name for oracle8i.
    thankyou very much in advance

I'm not expert in this, but your error has TNS in it which could mean its looking for the tnsnames.ora file which in an oracle client installation contains the mappings from the database name to the server ipaddress and port number for connection to oracle. Its possible you may need an oracle client installation.
Another way of connecting is via ODBC drivers which are configured in control panel in winnt and under computer managenent in win2000. An installation of Oracle will ususally install ODBC drivers.

    Hi
Check the tables related to LDB's
    LDBS
    LDBT
    T0220
    see the doc on LDB
A logical database is a special ABAP/4 program which combines the contents of certain database tables. You can link a logical database to an ABAP/4 report program as an attribute. The logical database then supplies the report program with a set of hierarchically structured table lines which can be taken from different database tables.
LDB offers an easy-to-use selection screens. You can modify the pre-generated selection screen to your needs. It offers check functions to check whether user input is complete, correct, and plausible. It offers reasonable data selections. It contains central authorization checks for data base accesses. Enhancements such as improved performance immediately apply to all report programs that use the logical database.
Less coding s required to retrieve data compared to normal internel tables.
Tables used LDB are in hierarchial structure.
Mainly we used LDBs in HR Abap Programming.
Where all tables are highly inter related so LDBs can optimize the performance there.

  • How to defined which logical database to use in a function module?

    Hey,
I am trying to do logical database in a function module. I need to know where do i go to define which logical database to use? Becuase i get syntax error on my Get statement. The logical database i am trying to use is HR PNP .
Any useful help will be appreciated,
    Thanks

I think we can't assign logical database to FM or FG. Because there isn't any option to put the logical database in the FM or FG's attributes.
You must have to create a executable report to have the LDB in use.

  • How to find the database growth rate?

Wanted to do the forecasting of disk growth for one year. How to find the database growth rate?
    Rahul

This is code authored by Richard Ding that will log database sizes to a table.  If you run it every day, then you can go back and compare the database size differences day to day... week to week... month to month... and year over year.  That is
how I forecast growth over time.
Note:  There is a database name required that is local to your environment, so change [YOURDATABASENAME] to whatever local database you wish to use.  I will also post the DDL to create the target table.  Create that table in the database you
name in the stored procedure code and all should run fine.

  • How to find the screen name in a screen?

    Hello experts
I  am  using loop at screen to make my selection screen dynamic
please tell me how to find all screen-name of a screen.
    thanks in advance.

Moderator message: please think about it before asking, you are naming the selection fields yourself in your program, if still in doubt, just debug your "loop at screen"
Edited by: Thomas Zloch on Nov 9, 2010 12:57 PM

I am  writing a program where in selection screen there will be two radio button named application server and presentation server when user choose application server screen changes dynamically and the block containg related to appliction server will be displayed in selection screen. to achieve this i have write code like
    at selection-screen output.
    if <radiobutton-name> = 'X'.
    loop at screen.
    {color:green}
    if  screen-name = 'radiobutton-name'.
    {color}
    if scree
    thanks
