How to find out common values across records

Example
I have to query employee city information
select distinct limitation_code from limitation where product_id in (1,2,3,4)
each product can have 1 or more limitation code. I want to find common limitation code among all products. which occurs in all products.
In put will be given using in operator not individually as this will be a subquery.
Please anyone's help is appreciated.

Is there any way that I can find out what time each record has been inserted?

First you need to clarify what you mean by 'the date that each record get inserted'. A row is not permanent and visible to other sessions until it has been COMMITTED and that commit may happen seconds, minutes, hours or even days AFTER a user actually creates the row and puts a date in your 'date column'.
Second - your date column, and ALL date columns, includes a time component. So just query your date column for the time.
The only way that time value will be incorrect is if you did something silly like TRUNC(myDate) when you inserted the value. That would use a time component of 00:00:00 and destroy the actual time.

Please tell me where can I find out the values which are assigned in authority object according to roles.
for ex :
         Changed    Customer: Account Authorization                              F_KNA1_BED
          Changed    Customer: Account Authorization                              T-DR50175601
            Activity                       01, 02, 03, 08                                                              ACTVT
            Authorization Group            5100                                                                        BRGRU
F_KNA1_BED is the authority object , assigned to one user.
He can access the authorization group 5100. I want to check that value in my program.
How ?
Where it is stored.
Please help me....

Hi Anubhav,
Please use this FM "SUSR_USER_AUTH_FOR_OBJ_GET" and pass the object name in it . You would get the values for that particular object.

that's where it's supposed to be, but it doesn't seem to work correctly. I checked on 9 & 10, and the DEFAULT_VALUE column is always null on both. in fact, the underlying column (sys.argument$.default$) is also always null.

how can i find out that a record is empty or null.
in other languages when a object or record is not initialized it will be null.
after initialization how can i find out its values are null. so far i tried this

it seems in plsql we can assign null but cannot compare it with null clause why? if we are able of assign null we must should about to compare it with null too.

Requirement : Need to find out the latest record in per_all_people_f and per_all_assignments_f to update the attribute column with pre defined value . Its not possible to track only with person_id / assignment_id and effective end date

How to find out the common things between two rpds? And place the common things in a common RPD.

I thought of one solution.
Original RPD = A
Modified RPD = B
XML Patch created for A-B = X
Now open the XML Patch in IE or Mozilla and delete the columns/tables/variable/etc,. from the Original RPD A.
But its a cumbersome process, if the XML file is of very less size its Ok. If its 10-20 MB then going line by line and deleting the change is not the process to be followed.
I have to check whether its just the delete or modify or drop.
Let me know your thoughts.

Go to transaction ST05,Click activate trace with filter,Give the transactio name as cj31,Go to the transaction and navigate to the place where the particular field is present, then again go to st05 ,Deactivate the trace and display the trace.
Now u can see how the data is fetched ,U can even go to display mode of the same transaction cj33

How to find out the max/min value of one field corresponding to a second field in HANA through graphical way.

Hi,
I am trying to find out the latest delivery date(EINDT) for each purchasing document (EBELN) through graphical way.
The view contains other fields apart from the above mentioned two fields.
When only the two fields (EBELN, EINDT) are there, then in semantics, I can select 'Max' as aggregation to get the maximum value for each document.
If I do like this, then I need to join more than 3 views and also so many joins in calculation view. Taking so much time for data preview.
Hence , please help me in getting the solution while the view contains other fields also.

if only two fields are then I can get the max/min values of one field corresponding to other field.
But more than two fields are there with different values, then let me know how to find out the max/min value of a particular filed corresponding to the 2nd field with other fields also should be in the output.

If you are using the statement "UPDATE_INSERT", get the response on element <insert_count>count</insert_count>. It will give you the inserted rows.
