How to find tables in schema affected after a particular timestamp

Hi Folks,
I have a huge database size needs to be migrated and upgraded across different platforms, I done the initial migration and the upgrade test on the new server successfully to the latest release (11.2.0.4) and the new Oracle server is ready now for the cutover.
Meantime, data files needs to be taken and migrated to the new server again since the tested migrated data is aged out, what's the best way to minimize the the time requires during the process of converting and transporting data from old platform to the new platform. I used RMAN convert and it took me long time though. My source db server is windows, destination is Linux.
Also, I am trying to figure out the way of identifying the schemas which have been affected after a particular timestamp (last convert), so then I can use pump or dump backup to export only the data which was updated after last data convert?
Any advise would be really appreciated

Requests/tasks...>Find Requests.>Give that request number and Choose Released in Request Status.
U will get the Request itslef.Drill Down to find out the Objects.

Hi,
The PI 7.1 Server shall definitely posses a Database. This Database shall have the ABAP and Java Dictionary tables in 2 different database schemas.You sholud be getting the names of the schema from the basis team supporting your server.
I hope your are referring to the Java DB Schema for access. In order to get the schema name for the Java Dictionary, you should have access to the NetWeaver Adminstrator (NWA) of the PI Server.
Logon to NWA, navigate to Configuration Management --> Infrastructure --> Application Resources. Select the Resurce Type to show as JDBC Drivers. Select the system driver and click on Dependent JDBC Datasources. This table should give you the schema name of the Java Table Storage of the PI 7.1 server.

Also you can use BAPI BAPI_CUSTOMER_GET_CHILDREN to get child customers for a customer.

e.g. We use LBWE TCode in R/3 system to find table name for the field from Extractor VCSCL(e.g.).

activate the CRM DSs by scenario:
1) Activate the application component hierarchy (tcode RSA9). Changes made to the application component hierarchy in the CRM system can be transferred to the BW using the "Edit Application Component Hierarchy" (SBIW - Postprocessing of DataSources).
SAP Note 434886 must be implemented in CRM 3.0 before the application component hierarchy is activated.
2) Activate the Business Content DataSources (tcode RSA5).
Select/enter the application component and choose Execute (F8).
To compare the shipped and active versions, choose the 'Select Delta' pushbutton. If there is no active version of the DataSource, it is selected automatically.
To activate the shipped version, choose the 'Transfer DataSources' pushbutton.
3) Management of the versions of the BW-Adapter metadata (tcode BWA5). All DataSources are displayed that are managed by the BW Adapter.
As in transaction RSA5 (Service API Metadata Activation), the 'Select Delta' function can be used to select the inactive DataSources or compare shipped and active versions.
You can also go directly to the screen for maintaining DataSources that are managed by the BW Adapter.
The 'Compare Version' function makes a detailed comparison of the shipped and active versions.
All BW-Adapter metadata is considered when versions are compared:
Header information (Table SMOXHEAD)
Mapping information (Table SMOXRELP)
Global selection conditions (Table SMOXGSEL)
Attribute key fields (Table SMOXAFLD)

How to find table & fields of standard InfoObject for creating generic DataSource?
e.g. I want to know the table & field of 0MAINTPOS infoObject.

You can get the list of tables involved in a particular DS by using the below method ( this another approach)
--> RSA3 -- enter your DS ( execute later)
--> Goto Tcode ST05 --> switch on the SQL Trace
--> now execute the extract checker in RSA3.once done switch off(deactivate) the SQL trace.
--> in st05 screen you can find the button "Display Trace" -- execute (here make sure SQL trace button is enabled.
--> from the menu bar -->Trace list--> select "combined table accesses".
--> it will display the tables involved in it -- check for TABLE names section.... select that row Table names -- click on filter button --press F4 -- here we go it will display the list of entire tables involved in the extraction activity... here you need to sort the tables which are related to your DS.

I am trying to find table information for below datasources. We are creating DSO's for the below mentioned datasources, for some we have standard DSO's(0WBS_O06), for others I am trying to create

Another option to find the table information...
inorder to get the tables names involved in that particular data source follow the below steps.
1) ST05 --> activate the Trace
2) RSA3 --> enter your data source (for ex: 0CO_OM_NWA_1)
3) Execute
4) Now goto ST05 -> deactivate the trace
5) click on Display trace(F7) button
6) Execute
7) It will display the complete SQL trace
8) Now from the Menu "Trace list" --> select "Combined Table Access"
it will display the complete tables list involved in that data source...
From Table name section you can get the list of tables involved in that data source.
I had traced and took the information of tables involved in that data source 0CO_OM_NWA_1
0CO_OM_NWA_1
AFKO     Order header data PP orders
AFVC     Operation within an order
AUFK     Order master data
COSP     CO Object: Cost Totals for External Postings
COSPP     Transfer of the Order in the COSP Table to the Project
COSS     CO Object: Cost Totals for Internal Postings
COSSP     Transfer of the Order COSS Table to the Project
COVREF     Coverage Reference Table: All Processing Blocks
COVRES     Table of Coverage Results
You can follow the same steps and find the tables for the rest.

If you go to the Properties for the Folder in Discoverer Administrator, there is a Dependents tab that should list any workbooks using the folder. This only works for workbooks saved to the database, so won't help with any created using Discoverer Desktop. If you are gathering statistics and have the The Discoverer V5 EUL business area and its workbooks installed, it can tell you about Folders Used as well. It contains information about queries run whether the workbook is saved to the database or to the file system, but wouldn't contain inforamation about workbooks that had been created but not run.

You use t.code:ME2Nand enter PO number,tn Execute.Now you will have PO details .Now in item details get GR details and Invoice details in purchase order history TAB.
In t.code:MIR5, you can see blocked invoice by selection.

How to exclude tables from Schema level replication

Hi All,
I am currently trying to setup Oracle Streams (Oracle 11.1.0.6 on RHEL5) to replicate a schema from one instance to another.
The basic schema level replication is working well, and copying DDL and DML changes without any problems. However there are a couple of tables that I need to exclude from the stream, due to incompatible datatypes.
Does anybody have any ideas or notes on how I could achieve this?? I have been reading the Oracle documentation and find it difficult to follow and confusing, and I have not found any examples in the internet.

When you use SCHEMA level rules for capture and need to skip the replication of a few tables, you create rules in the negative rule set for the table.
Here is an example of creating table rules in the negative rule set for the capture process.

include_dml=> true indicates DML changes for the table (ie, skip DML changes for this table)
include_ddl=> true indicates DDL changes for the table (ie, skip DDL changes for this table)
