How to find the unit price of a Material

Hi Friends,
Please help me in finding the field for Material unit price or How do I calculate the Unit price of a Material.
because in webdynpro screen user will entering only Material number,quantity. for that material I need to find the Unit price and calulate the to total amount like ( quanity * unit price) and put it in total amount column.
For that I require unit price of a material,I have plant,sales org.storage location.
is there any function modules for that?
Please help me in finding the unit price.

Open the Table in SE11 : eg: EKPO.
Select the Table CURRENCY / QUANTITY Fields tab.
There if you check the Field MENGE you can find the Reference field (eg : MEINS) and the Reference Table ( Can be the Same table or Some other) .
This becomes the field for storing the Unit of measure for MENGE.

you want to find out the Industry sector type for the field MBRSH.
If its a small notation For example M - Mechanical Engg,check the expantion for
this alphabet using T Code OMT3E.

I have requirement where i need to calculate the sum of a column in an advanced table.and i need to put that value into some other field.
i am doing customization so i can't touch the Standard page properties.so i need to achieve it through Pro-grammatically..
my column name is unit price in the advanced table region.so i need the code to calculate the sum of the unit price.

Hi Bharat,
No need for Programatic way as Advanced Table already provides this facility.
The following steps describe how to enable Totaling for a column in the footer of an advanced table.
Step 1: In the Structure pane of OA Extension, select the column container for which you want to enable Totaling Any column except for the first column can be totaled. Set the Total Value property for this column container to True.
Step 2: In the Structure pane, select your advancedTable region and choose New > footer from the context menu. OA Extension creates an advancedTables Components folder containing a footer named child, that contains a tablefooter container (labeled tableFooter1).
Step 3: Select the tableFooter container and choose New > total from the context menu. OA Extension creates a tableFooter Components folder containing a total named child, that contains a new totalRow item as shown in the figure below.

How to correct the net price of Purchase info record

When I create the purchase info record, I input the wrong net price.
And when I use ME12 to change the purchase info record, i find the net price cannot be modify.
How to resolve it?

MR21 and MR22 are used to modify the value of the stock for the material.
I understand that you want to change the price in the info record and the field appears as non modifiable.
In order to modify this value, you should use ME12 and press F8 or the button Conditions and input a new price. Please note that you can also fix a time fence for validity of this data.

A/R invoice PLD for BOM items need to hide the unit price

Dear All,
Our customer would like to have an A/R invoice like this: if the invoice has any BOM item, the unit price of child items should be hid. That means, I need to determine, if the item is the child of its parent, hide the unit price of it. Is there any way for me to know which item is the child item in A/R invoice PLD? I cannot find a column like status of item in the table that tells me this item is a regular item and that item is the child of an item. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for your reply. The problem is, an item in the invoice might be the child item or the regular item.
e.g, we have item A and B, they the child item of C. In the invoice, the customer may order 5 item C then add 10 item A as well.
Then the invoice will like this
C    5
A    5
B    5
A    10
Then they would like to hide A 5 B 5 but display A 10 as regular item.

For your own information, you could try & check with one of the online identify-by-serial-number
services; no telling what they may use any information (of yours) they may get from an inquiry...
I'd used this one a few times and with a Serial number, it does show a place of manufacture;
but with only a Model number, it does not say much about when or where it was made... in
fact the model number goes to an older model, too; what I see w/ Model number is not Retina.

According to http://MacTracker.ca database, a MacBook Pro, Retina, 15-inch, Mid-2014, has a
has a Model number of A1398 and EMC 2876 and had one of three different processors.
Not sure if this helps, but assembled in China is usual information on many of those. Some
versions with added parts or 'custom built orders' may have a different point of final assembly.
And if you receive the computer via a parcel delivery company, sometimes their web site or
tracking information on your specific order will show the path it took to get from you. If the
item was stocked in a region nearer you than the point of manufacture, or a main warehouse
the item could have been shipped from another location where they had additional inventory.

There are some ways to improve performance of this code, but if you are not reading thousands of lines it's quite fast.
After this part you can dimension the array to pass to FileToArray... unless you want to read it yourself since you already have it open!

I am trying to find the entries in 0CUSTOMER master data.
BW>LISTCUBE>Data target: 0CUSTOMER and selected the fields that I need.
I would like to know how to find the "number of entrees". I tried to run the SUM for a count field, but it is taking forever as there are huge number of records .

Hi Dev,
Go to the change/display mode of the info object (0CUSTOMER) in your case. Go to the Master data/Text tab. Here you will find the master data tables according to your settings (P orQ or X or Y). Double click on the table name and it will take you to the SE11 display. From there, you can check the number of records as you do in any transparent table.
